The dreamscape was a perfect and beautiful place, no weather outside of the usual occurred, ever. So it was here in reality that you and Sunday were awake in, on the rare occasion that Sunday wasn't busy all day and instead was spending the day, out and about, here with you.

There wasn't much to the reality of penacony besides The Reverie, so right now, you two were visiting the beautiful Loufu. Sunday stood out like a sore thumb here. He knew the culture, the places, the history, but as a tourist, he was downgraded quite a bit..

You were happy leading him around today, though.

You dragged him over towards a food stall in Aurum Alley, "This way." You mused happily, holding his hand tightly as you stopped in front of the stall and greeted the woman. There were a few candied desserts on kababs, so you looked at Sunday to see what he wanted.

He looked at you with a soft smile before smiling at the lady handling the food, "Strawberries and.." He looked at you and tilted his head, "Two strawberry ones, please." You chuckled and squeezed his hand.

The woman's eyes lingered on Sunday's wings before she got to work, making your orders. Meanwhile, you pulled the Halovian over to a little table and sat down with him there. "Have you been to the Loufu before? You seem to know it well." He inquired with a smile as he leaned back and crossed his arms.

"A few times, a couple of business trips here and there. Even met the General!" You smiled and leaned onto your hand. "It's a lovely place..rich in culture and sightseeing." you stated with a soft smile as you watched his wings flutter.

"The General, huh?" He smiled and tilted his head, those piercing yellow eyes soft and loving this time around. His voice filled your ears as you two chatted about the random things you'd encountered around the Loufu.

Then, you felt a raindrop on your hand, and upon looking up it seemed you and your boyfriend were too caught up in your conversation that you hadn't noticed the clouds and the beginning of rain fall.

Sunday looked up as well, a raindrop hitting his cheek, "Ah- come come!" He said, ushering you to get up. It began to rain harder, and luckily, you two didn't have to pay for those candied fruits before the rain set in.

You hurried to find shelter, but everyone else was closing up faster than you could get to them, leaving you and Sunday in the rain. His wings folded above his eyes just a bit to keep the rain water out of them while he shouldered off his jacket and pulled you close to hold it over the two of you.

"There.." He smiled at you, kissing your forehead before you two started making your way down the pathway to the hotel. "This feel so romantic." You grinned and stuck close for warmth and shelter from the downpour.

Sunday chuckled and looked away as he did his best to guide you to the hotel.. even if he was a little lost. You looked around as he hurried down random streets, laughing to yourself, seeing the ever so Cunning, smart, and calm Sunday..get lost in an unfamiliar place.

Eventually his just stopped and let out a defeated huff before glancing at you, "I think i've.. only managed to get us lost." He frowned and looked around again. At this point, his jacket was barely working as shelter from the rain, as the two of you were soaked.

"It's fine!" You laughed and moved his jacket to give him a kiss, "Kisses in the rain are romantic right..?" He chuckled and tilted his head. You smiled at him and nodded, "Yeah! Like in all the movies."

He smiled and lowered his hacket entirely since it wasn't doing anything now. "Then a kiss in the rain sounds like a great idea." He chuckled and held your face, the wings that sheltered his eyes fluttered and moved away as you leaned close and smiled.

You held his hand against your face and leaned into the kiss before he had the chance to initiate it. With your lips interlocked with his own, his wings relaxed and rested, idle while his other arm pulled you close by your waist.

The rain drops fell across your eye lids and dripped off your lashed. The rain water was barely able to break the kiss until the two of you broke it yourselves.

"Hmm.. I love you." You hummed and smiled up at him, rubbing his wing and chuckling as the soaked feathers lost their usual perfect shape.

Sunday shook it out of your grasp, and shook his head with a smile. "Come now, we'll get sick if we stay out for another kiss." He hummed, and you nodded, turning away, and now you lead him to the hotel.

The rain never let up, in fact, there was thunder rumbling throughout the sky, sometimes it was so loud it rumbled in your own chest. Sunday hardly seemed bothered by the thunder and lightning, in fact, he seemed to enjoy watching it, trying to watch the sky without getting water in his eyes.

You glanced back at him and chuckled before brushing hair out of your face as you stepped into the entrance hall of the hotel. It was an expensive place, so you didn't want to completely soil the place because the two of you got caught in the rain.

You tried your best to dry off a little bit, before you and Sunday hurried to the elevator and the Halovian looked at you in surprise as you started laughing. "This feels like some kind of cheesy romance movie scene." You chuckled.

He smiled and crossed his arms, nodding in agreement before his wings fluttered again to rid them of dripping water. "Suppose so, hastily making our way to our room does seem like it'd be in a movie." He smiled and looked at his clothes briefly with a sigh.

You looked at your clothes as well and shrugged, "We'll have to find a place to dry our clothes after we change." You hummed and looked up as the elevator dinged, prompting the two of you to hustle out and down the halls to your room.

Sunday opened the door for you and the two of you hurried inside, still dripping wet, but it wasn't as bad as before. You took off your jacket first and felt less weighed down as you set it on a random chair and looked at him, "Mind if i steal a shirt of yours?".

"Go on ahead." He smiled slightly before he tossed his jacket onto yours, then undid his overcoat. Underneath, his drenched shirt clung to his body as he slicked his hair back a bit and sighed as if the cold water had completely zapped out his energy.

You looked back at him and looked him up and down briefly before smiling and stepping closer, you gave him a quick kiss and tilted your head before you stepped back and took his shirt with you to the bathroom along with a pair of shorts.

"I'll change in here, let me know when you're done changing and i'll come out." You smiled and waved before closing the door, his piercing yellow eyes following you right up until the moment you had closed the door and he had lost sight of you.

He turned away with a small smile on his face, his cheeks just a smidge rosy despite the fact he was damn near shivering because of the cold. He wiped water from his face and fluttered his wings again to rid them of water as he got dressed.

He then turned around and lightly knocked on the door, cracking it and peeking in to see you busy brushing your hair out before you looked at him through the reflection in the mirror.

"Hoping for a sneak peak?" You teased and set the brush down, turning around and leaning against the bathroom counter with your arms crossed. "Ah..nonsense." he hummed and cleared his throat as he stepped in, "Done with the brush?".

You nodded and grabbed it, holding it out to him and smiling slightly as he took it. "Shall i meet you in bed? I don't know about you, but all that running made me exhausted." Sunday nodded and patted your head, "Yes..go on, i'll be there in a moment."

You nodded and left the bathroom and happily flopped onto the bed the moment it was in your reach, yawning as your head touched your pillow. The one thing you needed a hotel to have, was a comfortable bed and cozy blankets.

You nestled yourself in the pillows and the sheets, you felt that if you dared to close your eyes you wouldn't open them again until tomorrow. But you were quickly pulled out of your sleepy state and looked over as Sunday stepped out of the bathroom and turned off the light, before he looked over at you.

"So cozy already?" He smiled and sat down next to you before laying down, propping his head on his hand to stare at you. His golden gaze had always been a little dominating, even if he didnt try.

"You make me tired in a good way.." you muttered and snuggled close and closed your eyes to avoid meeting his, He looked at you with a small grin before holding you close and rubbed your back.

"I do..? How so?" He inquried as he stroked your back, before eventually moving his hand into your hair and brushing his fingers through. You almost fell asleep right in that moment, but opened your eyes before you could nod off.

"Mhm, Your presence is soothing..it makes me sleepy." you muttered softly and kissed his collarbone, nuzzling close afterwards.

"Well..that makes me feel lovely..thank you, my dear." he muttered softly and brushed his hand though your hair right up until the only sounds that filled the room were his breathing combined with your soft snores..

It wouldn't be long before he followed suit, closing his eyes..

Those beautiful wings lowered, tickling your face slightly in your sleep.

A beautiful moment in the safety of eachother's arms.

Love will fuck you up
more than any drug will.
