hey guys first chapter hope you like it!
"Tracy they will be fine i promise. they are very capable of taking care of each other." Olivia explained, attempting to make a peanut butter jelly sandwich.
"yeah i wasn't asking" Tracy was about to get married and she felt safer...or better, i guess, if Olivia went along with her brother and their friends. She didn't necessarily think she would keep them out of trouble but maybe they would hold back on the strippers if she tagged along.
Tracy was aware that they have all been friends since practically birth and that they all trusted each other to death so she had no reason to worry about her.
"It's a bachelor party, if i go then it's not a bachelor party, it's just a trip and i don't want to go on a trip, especially to Vegas". She bit into her sandwich. "cmon trace i just want to hangout with you before your big day"
Tracy stood up and walked into the kitchen area where Olivia was. "besides i thought we were gonna have some fun. you're getting married too y'a know and i would rather be at your bachelorette party." olivia did honestly want to stay with her but she could tell tracy's mind was set on her going.
Tracy smiled and pulled Olivia by the wrist into her room. "you're going". she scoffed. "no i'm not."
"yes you are"
"no i'm not"
"pleeaassee." she started to walk over to her closet. Tracy opened the door and picked up a suitcase and started throwing clothes in there. "but i want hot guys to dance on me and that won't happen if i don't come to your bachelorette party." she gave her a look.
"you don't think hot guys will dance on you at Vegas?" Tracy wanted her to have fun and she didn't want her to feel as if she was holding olivia back if she didn't let her go.
"No, and you know why? cause Phil is there and Phil won't let me do anything fun in a million years" Olivia pouted.
"Will you shut up" Tracy mocked. "Listen to yourself 'Oh no a big strong man wants to protect me wah wah" she paused for a minute making Olivia giggle.
Phil had always been a bit protective over Olivia when it came to men. All the guys truly wanted her to never even look at men in a romantic way cause they partially saw it as a threat and partially thought it was disgusting to think of someone kissing their "little sister". Much less dance on her. they had of course known her for years so their connection being deeper they would have never really wished for it to be like that with someone else. especially if it wasn't within the group.
Olivia had given up trying to stop Tracy from packing and complaining about her staying so she might as well just give in. She knew she wasn't taking "no" for an answer.
"Tracy there's nothing going on between me and him." she zipped up the suitcase and extended the handle.
"You are the only person that thinks that". she walked out of the room leaving Olivia alone with her thoughts.
She truly wanted to believe there was nothing there but there's always been a large flirty aspect to their friendship. they both interacted naturally with anyone in a flirtatious manor so that's why everyone would assume things like that often. Growing up with three guys around you at all times is just one of those situations where you would be watched like a hawk around any other guys that weren't them so it was kinda hard to socialize. one being your brother and the other two being his best friends was just worse case scenario for the dating department.
olivia took a deep breath and stormed back into the kitchen to see Tracy again. "if i was going to go"
tracy smiled and interrupted her. "which you will"
"then what would i actually wear?" tracy clapped her hands and laughed with pure joy as they ran back to her room to pick out clothes. Tracy helped Olivia unlock her girly side and she didn't mind it. it helped her relax and feel comfortable in her own skin. which didn't happen much when she was younger.
-
"Remember, what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas." Tracys dad said as he handed Doug the keys to his mercedes. Olivia walked up behind him and patted his shoulder. "Except herpes, that shit will come back with you". Tracy's dad has joked with Olivia since they first met. they had the same sense of humor and if they grew up in the same generation they definitely would have been friends. He smiled and hit Doug on the back as he walked away.
"Amen to that, let's fuckin go" olivia clapped her hands together and opened the driver side door, starting to get in. doug's gaze shot upward. he almost jumped with excitement.
"Tracy convinced you to come?" he walked over and closed the door so she couldn't get in the driver side.
"i'm your best friend you really think it took that much convincing?" she opened the door again.
he gave her a glance with a crooked smile. he knew her well enough to know she loved tracy but she always had her mind made up. tracy was set on Olivia going. so that was that.
"yeah i didn't have a choice" she sighed.
Doug breathed a laugh. "yeah, that's what i thought."
she laughed. and he sat down in the car. "Sid said i'm the only one who can drive it" she frowned.
"nuh uh"
"yeah huh"
she walked around the car pulling the top down. "you're okay with me coming right?". she knew what the answer was but still felt the need to ask so she didn't feel like she was inviting herself.
"it was my idea". he grinned hopping in the car. she laughed. "no it wasn't-"
she bumped into someone. her purest and stupidest form of entertainment. Alan.
"woah there sweet cheeks, almost busted my glasses". Alan said rubbing his face.
she does miss seeing him every once and a while. everyone seems to make fun of him but olivia tries to be the person that will give him a break. i mean for crying out loud he's trying his hardest. however he does take it the wrong way sometimes.
"Good to see you too Alan." He smiled and crushed her with an enormous hug which she reciprocated. "ready for the ride of your life?" he winked, hopping in the passenger seat where she was about to sit.
"oh your going with us". feeling defeated, she got in the backseat.
"you betcha". now alan was definitely annoying at times and Olivia had a feeling he was about to go on a streak.
Olivia looked at Doug and he just gave her an apologetic look sorta as if to say 'well i didn't really have a choice in the matter either'. Alan fixed his glasses and they pulled out of the driveway heading to the next stop.
-
"do not talk to me, i do not know you" Phil walked out of the school, cursing his job and secretly hating his students but loving the fact that they paid for an about to be epic trip for him. He grinned from ear to ear when he saw his friends. and in that car.
"well hello beautiful" Phil said putting his sunglasses on. whether he was talking to the car or olivia was a mystery to everyone but no one actually cared.
"hello". Alan said seductively thinking Phil was talking to him. Phil stopped in his tracks and everyone just looked at Alan confused. He shook his head.
Phil threw his bag jn the backseat and stepped over the door. Doug winced. "Nice car. whats the 0-60?"
"you're not driving it." olivia interjected. "i already tried". he plopped down next to her and kissed her on the head, patting his hand on her leg.
"who's this guy" he said as he unbuttoned his vest and part of his shirt. Alan turned around and his smile turned into a frown.
"Tracy's brother." Doug glanced back glaring at Phil.
"Dude we've met like four times" Alan huffed and turned back to his seat feeling ashamed. people treated him like this deliberately and sometimes he knew it. he just didn't know why.
"oh yeah. how y'a doing man?". after no response Phil looked at Olivia and shrugged. Doug just laughed and pulled out of the school to head to their next destination.
-
"Dr Faggot! Paging Dr Faggot!" Phil yelled as they sat outside Stu's house.
Stu ran down the stairs embarrassed. He was surprised of who he found in the car. He didn't know who this random guy was and he didn't really expect Livia to be there. He wasn't mad just surprised.
The four of them (not including alan) hadn't really all been together in a while cause they all had jobs and saw each other individually all the time but now that the gang was here it was just like old times. they were just the type of friends that could go years without seeing each other and then hangout one day and pickup like no time at all had passed.
Of course it had only been a couple of days since Stu saw olivia since they work together but he was glad to see everyone nonetheless. And Alan.
"We have to go. If Melissa sees that you're going with us she's gonna flip" Stu said as he got in next to her and slammed the door. Doug started to drive off.
Olivia gathered Stu's bag from him and put it at her feet. "trust me she will do worse than a flip"
Stu glared at her. "sorry sorry" she put her hands up in surrender. Alan turned around in his seat and faced them curiously. "what do you mean Olivia? is she not interested in you?"
Stu and her looked at each other both hesitant to respond. Olivia then looked to Phil who decided to pitch in for them. "Melissa and Livvy got in a fight a bit ago.."
"and?" alan leaned forward intently. "what happened."
phil grabbed olivia's chin and turned it so alan could see a scar. "they got in a fist fight and beat the shit out of each other"
"why? did you win" he looked at her sadly and really wanted to know what happend.
Doug spoke up right as they pulled onto the highway. "don't be so nosy alan"
olivia grabbed onto the seat in front of her to sit up closer to them. "no no it's ok. basically the first thing she did was accuse me of dressing like a hooker and the second thing-"
"well what were you wearing" alan butted in again. he put his sunglass on and leaned back a bit almost imagining whatever she was about to say.
"just a little black dress and some combat boots" she sighed.
"and by the way" Phil pitched in. "sexiest. fucking. thing. i've ever seen in my life." doug gagged and alan giggled. "sorry doug"
"well that's not eh worst thing you've said about her." doug grimaced from the drivers seat.
"anyways!" olivia tried to finish. "after she said that she cheated on stu so i beat the shit out of her and she retaliated more than i thought. end of story" she played back in her seat and phil patted her thigh comfortingly.
"do you have a picture of the dress?" alan butted in once again.
-
They stopped at a gas station about an hour or two into the drive. Alan and Olivia watched the car and the other boys started to walk inside.
"You want anything Liv?" Phil asked, walking backwards and pointing at her. he smiled knowingly she was hungry but had a gut feeling she wouldn't say shit.
"you see any cute guys in there you let me know okay? "she smiled and leaned against the car.
"i'm right here princess" he gave her a wink and laughed as they walked inside. he knew it. she didn't say shit.
"whatcha reading Alan?" she asked noticing his little green book.
"i'm studying" he seemed very into whatever it was so she couldn't be to complex with how she spoke.
"for what"
"Vegas"
she nodded and tried to process the million different things that that could mean. sometimes she felt dummer after she talked to Alan. she only did it cause she felt bad for him and one of her closest friends was his sister so she thought it was best if she tried to get along with him. either way he's a very entertaining specimen.
An older gentleman walked by and admired the car behind them.
"Boy you've got a sweet ride there" he said walking around it.
olivia patted the door after making eye contact with the kind man. "thank y-
"don't touch it." Alan warned the him aggressively.
he jumped back a bit making Olivia get defensive. "Alan cmon-
"don't even look at it. run along. get out" olivia sighed and gave the man a wave as if to apologize for him. "I'll hit an old man in public." she smacked him in the stomach and put her head in her hands out of embarrassment.
he continued to read his book and she glanced over his shoulder at it, trying to understand it. she didn't. in fact she wasn't sure if he did either. but she didn't really care. not a lot of things he said or did made any sense so it was best if you didn't spend a lot of time trying to figure out what or why.
they looked up after they heard the bell ring at the door. the boys walked out with all their stuff.
"and if you must know, he didn't even come inside her" olivia contorted her face, grossed that that's the first thing she heard.
"and you really believe that" Phil said walking back to the car and handing Olivia some gummy worms and a sprite she didn't ask for. she smiled, cracked it open and took a sip.
"uh yeah, i do believe that, because she's grossed out by semen." olivia spit out her drink all over the ground.
Phil laughed and patted her on the back as she wiped her mouth with her sleeve. they all got in the car and olivia grew curious.
"what"
phil leaned over "stu's girlfriends a bitch" he whispered as he stretched his arm across the headrest. she nodded and ate her gummy worms, leaning into him a little bit and getting comfortable.
-
they started on the road again. Alan was writing in his book and turned around abruptly.
"who wants to be my spotter?" he asked, smiling.
"i don't think you should be doing a lot of gambling tonight bud" Doug said, referring to a conversation they had apparently had earlier.
"it's not gambling if you know you're gonna win. counting cards is a foolproof system" they all looked at each other. it most definitely was not and he didn't look like he was up for being convinced otherwise.
"it's also illegal" Stu said being the rule follower.
"it's not illegal but it's frowned upon. like masturbating on an airplane" alan nodded without looking up from his book.
"i'm pretty sure that illegal too" Phil said. laughing at him.
Alan's attention was back to phil. "yeah maybe after 9/11 when everyone got so sensitive"
olivia's jaw dropped and she met eyes with Phil, both speechless.
the rest of the ride was pretty quiet beside everyone being confused about how Alan says the word retard. And then they arrived
