Zoe: What are you doing?

Serenity: I'm doing the Tik Tok Slow-Mo Walk Challenge.

Zoe: What's the song called?

Serenity: It's called Tadow something, I forgot!

Zoe: (sighs) Ok, just pack your bags and let's go. Your gonna be late.

Serenity: Ok, did you make pancakes for me?

Zoe: No, I didn't make breakfast for you today.

Serenity: Why? You haven't made breakfast for me in 2 days now!

Zoe: Well, you can just make it yourself. Just have cereal.

Serenity: What! Why do you keep on saying that? You've said that for the last 2 days now.

Zoe: Well maybe it's because I'm tired of making your food every single day!

Serenity: Are you still mad about what I said the other day? I promise I didn't mean it, I just took my anger out on you and I'm sorry I-

Zoe: Ok Serenity, let's just go to school. Get the keys.

(Zoe walks out the door and Serenity walks to Zoe's room and gets the keys).

7:56 A.M (at Jenna's locker)

(Spencer walks up to Jenna)

Spencer: Hey Jenna. What time is Diana's party today?

Jenna: Oh, hey Spencer. Diana's party is at 7:00!

Spencer: Perfect. We have time for the cookout.

Jenna: Yeah, speaking of the cookout, I'm have nothing to do after school today except Diana's party at 7, and I'm gonna be so bored.

Spencer: So your point is?

Jenna: I really want to come to your cookout with your guy friends. And if you say yes, can I bring Serenity, Cora, and Cassie?

Spencer: Yeah, of course. Infact, I came here to ask you if you and your friends wanted to come to my Cookout.

Jenna: That's great!

(Diana walks over to Jenna)

Diana: Jenna! I need you to help me with setting up the party today after school!

Jenna: Oh, um actually, Spencer has a cookout and he invited Me and my friends.

Diana: Oh, Spencer can I come?

Spencer: Um, sure I guess, Braydon wanted you to come anyway.

Diana: That's great! Who else is coming?

Spencer: Um, Josh, Braydon, Kingston, Sam-

Diana: Sam? Wow, Cassie better be coming.

Spencer: Why?

Diana: Because she's dating Sam!

Spencer: Since when?

Diana: Since last year!

Spencer: Anywho, that's all the boys who are coming to the party!

Diana: Great, I can't wait!

Jenna: Diana, I don't think you should come! You should probably set up the party and then if you have leftover time then you should probably come. And take your time to set up! Plus Serenity is comin- I mean Serenity isn't coming.

Diana: I'm so glad she isn't coming, oh and actually, earlier this morning, I called a party decorater to come over to my house and set the party. I gave him a paper of how I wanted the party to look and I had to pay him $300k. Now a days, party decoraters are so expensive. Luckly, my parents are rich! We have money. I don't know about you but I'm loving my life! Hashtag rich me!

Jenna: Um, then why did you ask me to come help you decorate.

Diana: Oh, yeah, I knew you were gonna ask that, I forgot that I had a party decorater. He's actually pretty cute but I already have Braydon so I'm fine!

Jenna: Whatever Diana! 

Diana: Hey, don't say that word to me! You should know that by now!

Jenna: It's just a word, what's so wrong with saying whatever? And Diana, you shouldn't brag about your money, you never know what other people are going through. 

Diana: Well it's not like your going through something.

Jenna: Well actually my dad lost his jo-

Diana: Ok Spencer I'm so excited to go to the cookout.

Spencer: So I gotta go to class, I'll see ya later.

Jenna: Ok, bye Spencer, I'll see you after school today! Wait is they're anything that I should bring?

Spencer: Whatever you want is fine, but we don't need anymore drinks! We have enough!

Jenna: Ok

Diana: Same here!

Spencer: Diana, I don't have your number, and I don't want your number! Jenna, when I text you the place, send that address to Diana!

Jenna: Deal, I gotta go! See yeah!

Spencer: Come at 4:00!

(Diana leaves)

Spencer: Hey Jenna , what were you gonna say about you're family going through some hard times?

Jenna: WHAT I- I never said said anything like that. I gotta go to class.

(Jenna runs away from Spencer)

4:00 P.M. (At the cookout venue)

(Spencer, Sam, Kingston, and Braydon are setting the table)

Kingston: Aren't girls supposed to be setting the tables?

Spencer: Yeah but they're not here right now so we might as well manage it. Um Sam, I didn't know that you were dating Cassie!

Sam: Relax bro, it's not like you like her!

Spencer: Ok, but you never told me that you were dating her.

(5 minutes later)...

(Jenna, Cora, Cassie, and Diana come in)

Diana: Hey guys, this place looks dope!

Cassie: Why is the table mats and tablecloth 4th of July themed? 

Braydon: Oh, um, Sam actually just found this in his room! We will just manage it.

Spencer: Now that all of us are here! Let's pray and eat!

Jenna: I'm down, I haven't eaten all day! The school lunch was terrible!

Cora: Tell me about it, I did not move her only to find out that the school sells fish as one of the lunch choices!

Diana: Lmao!

Spencer: I feel like were missing someone.

(Spencer counts everyone)

Spencer: Oh, were missing Serenity! Where is she?

Diana: WAIT WHAT! SERENITY IS NOT COMING! SHE WASN'T ON OUR LIST!

Cassie: We didn't even have a list!

Diana: Whatever Cassie! I didn't ask you to be my Correcter!

Cassie: Jeez!

Cora: I don't think Serenity even knows I'm here! She's mad at me!

Kingston: Guys, this is supposed to be fun, no girl drama!

Jenna: Oh shut up, you king!

Kingston: Jeez, I'm just trying to help.

Cassie: I'm sorry, did we order you as our therapist?

Spencer: Guys seriously chill, we need to find Serenity or were gonna just devour this food.

Diana: Why not just eat it now, I'm sure she wont come anyway!

(Serenity runs to the cookout place)

Serenity: Hey guys, sorry I'm late, I had to finish some homework!

Diana: Um, who invited you!

Kingston: DIANA!

Serenity: Jenna! Why?

Diana: JENNA? 

Serenity: Yeah, um Spencer, I brung some fruit salad! 

Spencer: Thanks, now we have fruit and a fruit salad.

Diana: Cool! Um Jenna can I speak with you. In that shed over there?

Jenna: Okay!

(Jenna and Diana walk over to the shed)

Kingston: Um, while we're all waiting for them, let's just talk about our day!

Cassie: Um I'm gonna go to shed real quick. I'll be right back!

(Cassie tip toes over to the shed because she wants to listen to Jenna and Diana's conversation)

(At the shed)

Jenna: What Diana? 

Diana: I cannot believe you had the audacity to invite Serenity. Why did you do that when you know she's is my number 1 worst enemy?

Jenna: I just thought you two would make up and become friends again if I did that.

Diana: What made you think that we would become friends again?

Jenna: You know, we're eating and laughing and have fun. Talking to each other, you know like normal friends.

Diana: Are you okay? You're the one who suggested to freaking expose Serenity at the party, and now your acting like you never did it.

Jenna: Yeah, your right! I don't even know why I asked Serenity to come! She's a loser! A lame one!

Diana: Yeah, that's my girl! Now come on, we gotta eat!

Jenna: Ok!

Cassie's p.o.v

I honestly cannot believe Jenna right now! She promised me that she would stand up for Serenity not listen to Diana's teachings! Ugh, now I'm gonna have to have a serious talk with Jenna! She never keeps up with her promises! One moment she'll hang out with me and Serenity, and then when Diana is coming she'll walk to the water fountain or go to the bathroom! It's like she's embarrassed to be friends with Serenity, or she just doesn't want to actually be Serenity's friend. Oh well, I'm gonna talk to her as soon as I can!

(Jenna, Diana, and Cassie walk over to the table)

Diana: Where's Cassie?

Sam: She's behind you!

(Diana turns around)

Diana: What were you doing? Were you in the shed?

Cassie: Um no, I just, you know, went to the bathroom!

Jenna: Ok, let's eat!

Kingston: Woah woah woah woah! Not so fast Jenna! We haven't blessed the food yet!

Jenna: Oh, yeah right! Sorry King!

Kingston: Hey, ok, can you stop calling me that? You keep on you "You King" or you call me King. Just call me Kingston!

Jenna: But King is a perfect nickname. Doesn't your mom call you that at home?

Kingston: No! Maybe? Yes!

Jenna: So what's the difference of your friends calling you King?

Kingston: Whatever, let's just pray.

Spencer: Ok

Kingston: In Jesus name

(They all say Amen)

Kingston: Father Lord, please bless this food and provide for those who do not have in Jesus' name! Amen 

(They all say Amen)

Cora: Alright let's dig in!

(10 minutes of eating the food)

Sam: Wow! This food is so delicious!

Josh: Tell me about it!

Serenity: I agree. In my opinion, the patty isn't salty enough.

Diana: Serenity, honey, does anyone even care about your opinions?

Spencer: Yeesh Diana! Serenity we all care about your opinions!

Diana: Not me!

(Diana looks at Jenna and gives her the Say-What-I-Just-Said- look)

Jenna: Oh yeah, and me!

Spencer: What is happening? Jenna what do you mean by "and me"?

(Diana looks at her again)

Jenna's Mind

Ugh, Cassie is right there, if she heard me she's literally gonna freak! But Diana is right beside me! What do I do? I guess I'll have to change the subject! Also, I feel like I need to tell spencer something. It's important and 

Jenna: Yeah, ok, um Sam, how are you?

Sam: I'm good. I've been working on a lot of writing recently. In the next 4 months, my book will be published. 

Jenna: That's fun! Um, who are you?

Josh: Oh, I'm Josh, Cora's brother!

Cassie: Cora, you had a brother?

Cora: Yes, I do! He's not that annoying.

Jenna: Nice, so what do you do?

Josh: I like to play guitar and sing I guess. It's pretty fun.

(50 minutes later after eating and talking)

(Everyone is laughing)

Cora: Haha, so funny!

Kingston: What? I make awesome jokes!

Diana: Well, I would say that this cookout was amazing, but I  have to go home and check out what the party decorator has done! Oh, and Serenity, are coming to my party?

( 5 seconds of silence)

Cassie: Where is Serenity?

(everyone looks at Serenity, but she's looking at rocks that were about 10 ft away from everyone)

Spencer: SERENITY! What are you doing?

(Serenity looks at them, and walks over to the cookout table).

(Serenity looks at Diana)

Serenity: You were saying?

Diana: Oh, I was saying are you coming to my party?

Serenity: Yeah, I'm pumped!

Diana: Great! I'll see you there, make sure you show up, we have something planned. 

Serenity's mind

Um, that was weird, is planning something? Never mind, I overthink way too much.

Diana: Anywho, I have to go, ttyl fam!

(Diana leaves, and looks at Jenna)

Jenna: Oh, um, I should go too! Thanks for inviting me, this was so fun!

(Jenna catches up with Diana, and Cassie is staring at her)

Sam: So Cassie, we haven't talked in a while.

Cassie: Yeah! Maybe it's because your so focused with your book writing things.

Sam: Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't through so much drama!

Cassie: What? I think your getting the wrong message from someone! Who even told you that?

Sam: Kate!

Cassie: Kate? Is she mad at me?

Sam: I dunno! You should probably get up from that seat and walk to my house and ask her.

Cassie: Wow! Nice sentence Sam, but I didn't need that tho. I'll talk to her at school, on Monday!

(Cassie leaves)

Spencer: Um, this is going unexpected!

Sam: (sighs) tell me about it!

Serenity: Um, I need to uh, go uh, you know, do something at home. Actually I need to get ready for the party! Thanks for having me here guys!

(Serenity leaves)

Cora: Um, I'm gonna go too! Josh, If your staying here, Imma head home! And do the dishes when you get there like I asked you to 14 times.

Josh: Ok, Cora, I will, only if you water the flowers for a week! The bees are just too much in the morning.

Cora: Deal, but bees don't really come out in the summer, they come out more in the spring.

Josh: Did you forget that in Millwood state, bees are everywhere especially in the summer, that's why the Millwood nickname is The Home of the Bees!

Cora: Right, now I'm gonna go home.

(Cora gets up and leave)

(10 minutes later)

(Cora sees Serenity walking to her home, and walks as fast as she can to Serenity)

(Serenity looks behind and sees Cora walks towards her so she runs home).

(At Serenity's house)

(Serenity walks in the door)

Zoe's mind

Oh gosh, she's home already! I need to go upstairs

(Zoe speed walks upstairs so that Serenity can't see her)

Serenity: Hey Zoe!

Zoe: (sighs) Hey!

(Zoe comes downstairs)

Serenity: So I was wondering, I need to get a dress for the party tonight and I-

Zoe: Which party?

Serenity: Oh, sorry, I have a friend who's hosting a party.

Zoe: Who?

Serenity: Remember Diana?

Zoe: Oh her? She's trouble.

Serenity: Well, not anymore. She wants hang out with me again, so she invited me to a party which starts at 7:00.

Zoe: Ok, what do you need from me?

Serenity: I was wondering if you could take me to Jane's Dresses and get me a new dress.

Zoe: Um, first of all, it's just a party, not prom. Second, just because I got my license 2 weeks ago doesn't mean you can take advantage of it. I didn't get my license for you.

Serenity: What the heck. I'm not even taking advantage of your license.

Zoe: Yes you are because your constantly asking me to take you somewhere.

Serenity: Ok, never mind. I'll just wear something cozy. Thanks for your help tho.

(Serenity walks upstairs to her room)

(Jenna and Cassie are walking to Cora's house)

(12 minutes later...)

POUND POUND POUND

Cassie: Jenna, you don't need to pound on the door.

Jenna: Oops.

(Cora opens the door)

Cora: What are you doing here?

Cassie: You're coming with me-

Jenna: US

Cassie: Right. You're coming with us to Diana's party.

Cora: Um and who told you that Serenity isn't going to be mad that I coming to the party.

Cassie: Oh yeah, that's true.

(Cora closes the door)

POUND POUND POUND

(Cora opens the door)

Cora: Ok, which one of you is pounding on my door?

Cassie: It's Jenna.

Jenna: Sorry, I can't help it, this is major.

Cora: And what could possibly be more major than have a nice relaxing SPA day while my brother is going to Diana's party and my mom and dad have an appointment this evening. I going to have the house all to myself, and this is the first time I've hadthe house all to myself. I need to take advantage of it.

Jenna: ok, but you really need to come.

Cassie: Plus Jenna made this nice shirt for you.

(Cassie gives Cora the shirt)

Cora: Thanks, I'm gonna go change. I'll see you at the party I guess.

Jenna: Great, I'm so excited! See you there.

(Cassie walks out of the driveway and Jenna looks at her)

Cora: Is she ok?

Jenna: Um, I dunno! I'll see you there.

(Jenna runs up to Cassie)

Jenna: Hey, why did you leave all the sudden? You didn't even tell Cora goodbye!

Cassie: It's nothing.

Jenna: Why are you walking so fast? You know you can tell me anything.

Cassie: (sighs) When we were at the cookout, I walked over to the shed and listened to you and Diana's conversation. And then there was that time when we were eating Serenity said something and Diana said Serenity we really don't care about your opinions, and you agreed with Diana. Why would you say something like that
