"Morning Kace, morning Kie." John B says to me and Kie with a yawn. "Morning." Me and Kie say back at the same time with a groan.

"I gotta get home, I'll see you guys later." I say and throw up a peace sign while walking out the door.

I walk into my house and see my sister Kehlani sitting on the couch. "When did you get back?!" I say excitedly while running to my sister. "I got back last night." My sister says while hugging me.

"So how is it at NYU, did you find a boyfriend?" I said to my sister with a smirk on my face. "Oh stop it." She says with a laugh.

"I miss you around here, it's just been me and Kelce ever since you and Klayton ran off to college." I say while rolling my eyes.

"Where is Klayton anyways?" My sister asks. "Mom said he was coming tomorrow" I say

"Oh okay well I'm gonna go and unpack so I'll see you later." My sister says while walking up the stairs. "Okay" I nod

I hear a notification from my phone and see that John B just texted me. "Wanna come surf?" The text said. "Sure" I reply

"Hey boys!" I yelled while walking up to John B and Pope. "It's a double overhead out there!" John B yells. "Those aren't surf-able waves bro." Pope says to John B. "Says who?" I yell while running over to the water.

I catch a wave then go home before the hurricane starts to build up.

"Hey mom." I say while walking into the house. "Hey sweetie where were you?" My mother asks. "I was with Pope and John B." I say.

"You're always with those pogues." My brother Kelce says with a bitter tone. "Shut up Kelce at least I have friends." I spat back. "I do have friends, I have topper and Rafe." He says. "Yeah both of them suck." I respond.

"Okay that's enough you guys. My mother says. "Whatever I'm going up to my room, goodnight." I speak

The next day

"Hey pretty lady." JJ yells to me from the boat. "Hey there boys, what we doing today" I say while getting onto the boat. "Oh you know the usual." JJ says while smirking at me.

"Oh, top o' the mornin' to ya." JJ says to Kie. "Good morning." Kie reply's back.

"Whatcha got?" Pope asks Kie. "Oh you know, just some yogurts and carrot sticks." Kie responds. "How bout my kind of juice box?" JJ asks referring to beer. "Yeah." Kie reply's.

We all grabbed a beer from Kiara's cooler "salud." Kie says while we clink our glasses together.

"Let me show you a party trick. Hey, Pope can you go a little faster" JJ speaks. "It doesn't work you tried this like 6,000 times." John B says to JJ. "I got this, it's gonna work!" JJ yells while getting on edge of the boat water falling his beer.

"Oh my god you're getting beer in my hair." Kie says. "Yeah JJ you're party trick sucks." I add. "Alright you're done" Pope and John B add.

The boat jolts forward throwing JJ off. "Jesus pope!" I say with a worried tone. "You okay JJ?" Pope asks. "I think my heels touched the back of my head." JJ says while in the water.

"Kie, Kace y'all okay?" John B asks me and Kie. "I'm alright." Kie responds. "Yeah me to." I also respond.

"Pope what did you do?" JJ asks pope. "Sandbar, the channel changed." Pope reply's. "No shit. Hey I saved the beer though." JJ spat back. "Congrats JJ." John B replied.

"Guys....think there's a boat down there." Pope says while looking into the water. "Shut up. John B reply's. "No way." Kie speaks. "What?" I say confused. "No, no, guys I'm serious. There's a like a boat down there for real." Pope speaks while pointing to the boat underwater.

"Holy shit!" I say while staring into the water. "He's right, let's go." Kie says while taking her shirt off revealing a bikini top. "You think there's a dead body down there?" Pope says while taking his shirt off. "Let's hope not." I say while taking my shorts off.

We dive into the water and swim down to where the boat is looking around it.

"You guys saw that right?!" JJ asks with excitement in his tone. "Hell yeah we did!" I spoke with excitement. "That's a Grady white, a new one of those is like 500 Gs, easy." JJ says.

"Guys, that's a primo rig." JJ says while climbing onto the boat. "Yeah. That's the boat I saw when I surfed the surge, maybe it got the jetty." John be says in response. "You surfed the surge?" Kie asks John B. "That's my boy, pogue style." JJ says proudly.

"Do we know who's boat that is?" Pope asked confused. "No." John B says. "But we're about to find out." I finished. "Dude it's too deep." JJ says to John B. "Oh, for the weak and feeble JJ." John B responds to JJ.

"Well, I'm not resuscitating you. I'm just making that clear up front." JJ speaks. "That's fine." John B responds.

"John B." Kie says to him in concern. "What? Diver down." He says. "Yeah he is." JJ says while pushing him in the water.

"Should we go get him?" I ask in a worried tone. John B them swims back up "Nevermind." I say.

"Oh my god that took forever." Kiara says. "Any dead bodies?" Pope asks John B. "Jesus pope stop it with the dead bodies already." "My bad." He says sorrily. "It's fine I guess that's all you think about while studying forensic pathology." I say

"Any looting potential?" JJ asks. "No, but I found this motel key." John B responds while showing us the key.

"A key?" Pope asks. "Yes, a key, pope." John B responds with annoyance in his tone. "Great! we salvaged a motel key." JJ says

"Guys we should report the wreck to the coast guard." Kie says. "Yeah maybe we'll get a finders fee." I say. "Yeah and not work all summer. Thanks Agatha ya batch." JJ adds

"Excuse me." John B says trying to get the attention of the man who was busy with an old couple at the coast guard place. "Hey man we found a boat." JJ also try's to get the attention of the man. "You're gonna want to hear this." John B says to the man. "Hey! Calm down." The man yells at John B and continues his conversation with the elderly couple.

"We'll that went well." Pope says to John B and JJ. "So what's the plan?" JJ asks. "I think I know how we're gonna find the guy who owns that boat." John B says very surely.

"But we don't know who's room that is." I say in confusion. "Yeah it could belong to anyone." Pope agrees. "I'm in." JJ speaks. "Come on, I'll be lookout." Kie says. "Finder's fee, just saying." I hear John B say to Pope.

Later

"Damn." I say while looking at the motel. "And I thought the château looked bad." JJ adds. "This place is a shit show." John B says. "Motel or meth lab.?" Kie adds. "You be the judge." Pope says.

"Doesn't look like a place somebody with a Grady-White stays." John B says. "I know right...weird." I add. "No. Looks like a place someone with a Grady-White would get killed." Pope says.

"Alright, here we go." John B says getting ready to hop out the boat. "This is your captain speaking. HMS Pogue comin' in for landing." JJ speaks mocking a Walkie-Talkie. "We good?" John B asks JJ. "Yeah, we good." JJ responds.

"Alright, here goes nothin'." John B says while getting off the boat. "Hey! Try to make sure JJ doesn't do anything stupid." I say to John B while looking at JJ. "Oh we will." JJ says then winks at me. "I'm not making promises." John B says to me. "Yeah I know." I reply. "Be careful. I mean it." I hear Kie tell John B.

While pope was doing whatever, I was laying in Kies lap and started talking to her. "Hey Kie." I say to her. "Yeah." She replied back. "Do you wanna have a sleepover?" "I was wondering when you would ask, we haven't had one in like two weeks." She says. "I know right." I respond with a laugh

"So who's house?" She asks me. "Yours!" I reply instantly. "Ugh why does it always have to be at my house. She asks. "Because you don't have a Kelce there to ruin your night." I say with a scowl.

"What's your biggest pet peeve?" Pope asks Kiara. "Biggest pet peeve? Easy, giving one percent to the environment." Kiara said surely.
"What's wrong with that?" Pope asks Kiara. "We only have one earth pope." I add to help Kies point get across. "We should be giving it 100 percent, bare minimum." Kie says

"Right, that's not fiscally sound." Pope says. "Neither is destroying the planet we have to live on." Kie argues.

"Oh shit cops!" I say to pope and Kie. "Call them." Pope says to me. "I can't, towers are down." I say slightly panicking. "If I lose my merit scholarship, I'm gonna kill someone." Pope whisper yells to us.

"Maybe they're not going up there, maybe they're just...looking for a room." Pope says hopefully. "They're going up their." Kie says

"Guys we gotta do something, quickly!" I say panicking. "Step back." Pope said getting ready to throw a rock at the window.

Pope missed....badly...like very badly. "Pope what the fuck!" I say in utter shock and disappointment. "Didn't you ever play baseball?" Kiara says in disappointment. "I was on the math team." Pope responds.

"A Mathlete?" Kiara says then throws a rock and misses the window but hers was closer than Popes was. "You both suck, damn it let me do it." I say. I grab a rock and throw it at the window. It hit the window. "Take notes." I say with a cocky tone and flip my hair.

We run back onto the boat. "Should we peel?" Kie asks. "You never leave a pogue behind." Pope says to Kiara. "No seriously should we peel?" I ask. "Maybe." Pope responds.

We see JJ and John B standing on opposite sides of each other by the window. "What are you doing?" Pope mouths to them. "Oh my god." Kiara speaks in shock.

JJ drops something that looks like a gun and it makes a loud noise. One of the police officers opens the window. So we pretend like we are talking to each other. "So yeah, ummm." Kie says trying to make it seem like we're having a conversation.

The officers left and the boys got down and hopped on the boat.

"Well that was fun." JJ says sarcastically. "Could've warned us a little sooner. JJ says with a chuckle. "We would've except pope was on the math team." I respond to JJ. "You we're on the math team?" John B asks dumbfounded.

"The cops took everything like it was a crime scene." Pope said ignoring the question. "Did you guys find anything?" I ask. "Did we find anything? No I don't think so, oh yeah we did." JJ says while holding up a stack of cash and a pistol.

"What the hell?!" Pope says. "Dude, what?!" Kie also adds. "Dude chill, come on." JJ says calmly. "JJ why would you take that from a crime scene?" I ask in shock. "It's better than the cops having it." He responds while walking up to me. "I'm gonna lose my merit scholarship." Pope says panicking. "At this point you're manifesting it Pope." I say

JJ turns to pope to calm him down. "Hey, hey, hey. Sh, sh, sh. sh, sh, at least you have us right?" JJ says to pope. "I'm living the nightmare." Pope says and takes a seat.

Y'all a bitch is so fucking tired but I wrote 2,000 words today!!! I wrote like 500 last chapter. And I added some imagery for y'all with the GIFS😉😛
