Your POV
I found out a day later after I woke up that Jiro was hit in the head causing head injury.
He has been unconscious for a month now and I've been visiting him every day with Haru.
Takemicchi is also healed now and helps the others manage Toman. I've been busy in supervising them and managing Hakuren-kai. It's a good thing that papa is helping me in every way that he can.
My lost of sight isn't much of a hinder to my daily life.
I've been trying to memorize the placed I know.
So far, I memorized how to find my way around the house and my office. Haru became my eyes and he would read letters or state the situation.
The doctors said that the chemical that went to my eyes was a type of pesticide and the damage was permanent and the only way for me to see again is an eye transplant.
I'm still at the farthest part of the line. Even if we had money, it won't just put me on top of the list.
Now I'm stuck with wearing sunglasses or a blindfold.
Rika is apparently dead because a truck ran her over. That was pretty anti-climactic but it was for the best. I would've killed her otherwise for what she did to Jiro.
Either way, that problem is over. I could imagine how pathetic she was till the end based on Haru's narration.
"Y/n-sama, Shinichiro just called." Aki said while I was sitting on the couch.
"He's awake." She said and I stand up abruptly. My heart is racing and I can't wait.
"Aki" I said
"The car is already ready, shall we go?" She asked and I nodded.
She lead me to the car and we immediately drove to the hospital.
I was feeling anxious but excited, worried but relieved. I can't wait to hear his voice again.
I've been on edge the whole month.
I just need him to say anything. Anything would be fine as long as I hear him talk. That's all I need.

Aki just carried me and rushed to Jiro's room, of course in the VIP ward.
When we're outside the door, Aki put me down and knocked.
I heard many murmurs and waves of laughter coming from the room.
We heard someone letting us in so we entered while I hold on to Aki's arm.
The room slowly became silent as I was led to where Jiro was.
"Y/n-chin." He said and tears flowed out of my eyes.
There it is, the voice of the person I love. Finally...
My hands found their way to his face and I traced every part of it.
From his hairline, his eyebrows, his eyes and eyelashes, his cheeks, and most of all, his lips.
"We're gonna leave you guys for a bit." Shin-nii said as they left the room with Aki.
I quickly tackled Jiro in a hug and let more tears fall out.
"Y-you dummy! Why didn't you tell me you got hit! I was so worried when I woke up." I said and hugged him tighter.
"Gomen, Y/n-chin. I'm sorry for making you worried." He said as he hugged me back.
"Are you okay? Does your head hurt? Does anything hurt? Tell me if you feel anything bad." I said with worry.
We pulled out from the hug and I faced the direction I think he exactly was.
"I'm okay, I had a bit of headache earlier but the doctor said it was normal. I don't even have any scratches, look!" He said happily.
"Jiro" I said.
"Why are you wearing sunglasses? Is it too bright here?" He said.
"Jiro"
"We can just-"
"Jiro, I can't see." I said.
"What?" He asked and took off my sunglasses.
I felt him caress my face so softly.
"Who did this to you, Y/n-chin? Tell me, the whole Toman will find them for you, tell me." He said and tears came out.
The realization hit me so hard.
He kept calling me Y/n-chin but the last time he ever called me that frequently was when we were 12.
He rarely called me that after he came back from the other timeline.
"Jiro, what am I to you?" I asked.
"Why are you asking that? You're my one and only girlfriend, who I love most in the world. So tell me, who did this to you?" He said.
I reached him for a tight hug as more tears came out.
"Jiro, I'm your fiance. We're engaged." I said.
"Huh? What? I proposed already? I did it? But I thought I was just planning for it. I'm sorry, I-" He said.
"It's okay, it's okay. You don't need to remember. We'll just take it slow and start over. That is if you still want me even though I'm blind." I said.
"Y/n, my mind might have forgotten some things we did but my heart won't ever forget you. Even if your blind, deaf or even mute, I'll still love you either way." He said and wiped my tears.
"Jiro" I said.
"Now, tell me what happened to you." He said but I smiled.
"We won, that's what happened. We can finally take it easy." I said.

Jiro was still in the hospital for a few days so the doctors can monitor his condition.
He was released after a week. The doctors said he had amnesia because of his head injury but there wasn't any wrong with his health.
He doesn't recall his memories from the other timeline and the stressful moments he had been through this timeline was uncertain for him.
All he remembers are the happy memories and events that had happened.
This is probably for the best, even though he won't tell me in the past, I knew he was struggling with the bad memories he had.
He can finally sleep a lot longer and acts like a real 15 year old. He's back to his goofy and light-hearted self.
The Jiro that I met when I was 10.
The Sano Manjiro, whose dream is to make a new era for his gang.
The Invincible Mikey, leads Toman with confidence and responsibility.
Only me and Takemicchi know about the things that had happened. We promised each other to not mention anything about it to him.
I'll keep all the things he confessed he had done and take it to my grave if it means I can protect his genuine smiles and laughter.
The smile that I'll be waiting to see until the day I can finally see again.
Even when I can't see the brightness of his charming smile, I can still feel the warm feelings of true joy and happiness like the heat that comes from the sun.
