Mikey's POV

"Were you planning to ambush Y/n?" I asked again.

"We are here to talk." the guy with the scar said.

"Talk?" I asked as my eyes wander around the members of Black Dragons.

"We are here for L/n Y/n, please let us talk with her." Koko said.

"She's busy, state your business with me." I said but before he could talk, Taiju arrived.

"I thought you guys already started, what are you guys doing standing around?" He said.

The tension in the area kept rising while I and Taiju kept glaring at each other. It was like everyone was holding their breath. No one even moved an inch.

The silence was broken when the door behind me opened.

"What's going on?" Y/n asked, still wrapped in her blanket. Her eyes were puffy and red from crying but she's a beautiful mess. She stood behind me and held the sleeve of my jacket.

"L/n Y/n." Taiju said and came up to us but I hid Y/n behind me.

Suddenly Akio-san arrived and punched Taiju but he only blocked with his arm.

"Stay back." She said.

From the side, I saw Hakkai with his sister, Ken-chin, and Emma holding groceries.

"Aki" Y/n said.

"As we said, we're only here to talk with Y/n. We didn't come here to fight." Koko said and Akio-san looked at Y/n who nodded.

"What are we going to talk about?" Y/n asked then suddenly the black dragons' gang members bowed in 90 degrees and Taiju also followed.

"The Black dragons' surrender to Toman." Taiju said.

Many surprising reactions came from Takemicchi and the others. I was also surprised about what he said but I kept a straight face.

Takemichi's POV

It's been 30 minutes since Taiju, Koko and Inupi went inside with Mikey and Y/n. They said that they were going to talk in private so we are looking after the members of Black dragons so they won't suddenly cause trouble.

"It's strange, what's happening?" I mumbled 

"It's unusual isn't it?" Chifuyu suddenly asked beside me.

"Yeah, it's like we're missing something important." I replied then a moment later Koko-kun, Inui-kun, and Mikey-kun others came out of the house.

"Mikey-kun, what's going on?" I asked but he only smiled at me.

"Don't worry, we'll have a meeting soon and discuss what happened." He said.

Taiju and Y/n-chan came out next. Suddenly Taiju approached Hakkai-kun and Yuzuha-chan. Mitsuya stood in front of the two with a serious face.

"Taka-kun, it's okay." Y/n-chan said and he reluctantly backed down.

Hakkai and Yuzuha were both close together as they looked at Taiju who suddenly bowed.

"I've been repenting to God for the past days because I finally realized that I am wrong. I just wanted to say that I'm sorry for failing our family. You don't have to forgive me but I hope we could start over again in a good way." Taiju said.

"I can wait until you two are ready while I'll change myself for the better." He said and raised his head. Before he left, he gave Yuzuha a small box.

"Even when I'm the eldest, my way of running our family was too much to be called familial love. You were the ones who tried to keep our family standing till now, I know that mom would be proud of you and disappointed in me. I'll be a proper brother to the both of you starting now, you can both do what you want." He said and the whole black dragons began to leave.

Yuzuha opened the small box and fell to her knees and began to tear up.

"Isn't that-" Hakkai-kun said and kneeled next to her and also began to tear up.

"Are you both okay?" I asked in worry and they nod. I took a glimpse of the thing that Taiju-kun gave.

It was a beautiful locket with little gems and detailed carvings of the Holy family. When she opened it, it showed a picture of three young children with a woman who looked like Yuzuha.

"This was mom's, I thought that it was forever lost." She said and held it to her heart.

I'm so glad that this happened, there was no fights and the Shiba siblings are starting to fix their relationship. 

So far, everything that's happening is leading to a happy future.

"All right, before Christmas is over, do you guys want to go on a ride?" Mikey-kun asked and we agreed.

Mikey's POV

The others went back to get their bikes and I stayed here with Y/n. My bike is already parked near here so I can take it later.

"Jiro." Y/n reluctantly called. Her eyes were avoiding mine and she looks like she was guilty. 

Without saying anything, I pulled her to an embrace.

"You don't have to look like that, Y/n. I'm not upset." I said and she began to cry again.

"But I lied to you. How could you not be upset for a bit?" She said.

"Because I love you." I replied and she stayed silent.

"No matter how many lies you tell me, I'll believe all of them as long as you're not lying when you say that you love me too." I said and she hugged me back.

"I'm not lying about loving you because I do. I love you so much that I lied and hide something about me so you would say you love me back." She said and buried her face in my chest.

"Baka, no matter who you are or what you've done, I will never get tired of saying how much I love you." I said

"But what if I'm just using you?" She said

"You can use me all you want or need, that won't change a thing about how I feel for you." I said and she looked at me with teary eyes.

"I'm sorry.." She said and I only smiled and flick her forehead softly.

"Stop saying that, did you forget what I said to you last time you said sorry too? I will always forgive you so stop crying now, your eyes will hurt." I said and wiped her tears.

"Let's go on a ride with the others to celebrate, I miss how you hug me tightly from behind when we go on a ride." I said and she finally smiled and nodded.

"Just so you know, you have to make up for keeping something from me." I teased and she looked worried.

"Huh? How? Should I make a hundred pieces of dorayaki or taiyaki?" She asked and suddenly started to ramble about things she would do.

It's like she's stressing out about what I said that she began to tear up again.

Without saying anything, I pulled her to a kiss.

"Eh?" She said with her face turning red after that and I turned around.

"That's better." I said and smiled before turning back to her.

"Let's go? The others are waiting for us." I said and held out my hand.

She stood there and stared at me with a flustered face before she suddenly ran towards me and jumped on me.

I caught her and managed to balance so we won't fall. She's clinging like a koala.

"Don't just attack me like that, your kisses always make me weak. It's unfair!" She said and I only laughed as she gets down.

"Sorry not sorry, but I love seeing you getting all flustered by a peck. You look cute." I said and pinch her cheeks.

"Just because you're mentally older than me doesn't mean I won't be able to get revenge. Just you wait, one day I'll make you flustered too." She said and walked ahead.

"I can't wait." I said and caught up to her as I put my arm on her shoulder.

Y/n's secret and past was a bit too much to take in in one day but overall, it's good to know the truth than later. Who would've thought that the missing piece of the puzzle was her all along?

Just a little bit more, just a bit more and we're going to have our happy ending. 

You're the next one who I need to save and I won't fail this time.

"Jiro, look the night sky is peaceful. I can see the stars." Y/n asked as she looks up the sky.

I continue to stare at her and held her hand, she gently smiled.

Oh, right. It isn't "I" or "me", it's "we" and "us".

WE will save and protect you together, we won't fail and we will take you home, brother.
