"hey y/n. you look beautiful, darling."

you glanced up at the older woman, watching as their cheeks slightly turned a bright shade of pink as they stared back down at you, smiling innocently. she seemed to be wearing a collared shirt and a matching blazer over it.

you looked away towards your feet shyly, fidgeting with your shirt collar.

"thank you, hange. so do you."

at your comment, a smirk appeared on their face, as they outstretched their hand, and you held it.

"let's go?" she said, giving your hand a comforting squeeze.

you obliged, letting her lead you down the hallway towards the dormitory's stairs, as the two of you went down hand-in-hand, in comfortable silence.

the two of you scurried down the steps and approached the parking lot, as they opened their mustang, and the two of you got in.

"hey hange, where are we going?" you asked, putting your seatbelt on.

"didn't i tell you it was a surprise? wait and see, love."

"that's not fun!"

"surprises are always fun."

"no, they aren't."

"my surprises are great."

"yeah right!"

"shut up weirdo." they mumbled jokingly, driving off.

"make me." you said back.

"oh? you want to do this now?" she smirked, peering down at you, as they gripped your upper thigh with their free hand.

you felt your cheeks heat up, as you held in the sinful noise that was about to escape your mouth due to the sudden sexual contact.

"i was kidding!" you squeaked.

"that's what i thought." she said in a near-whisper, smiling, as she kept her eyes on the road.

"hange?" you said again.

"hm?"

"can i get a hint?"

"not this again..."

"come on, please!"

"fine."

"go on..."

"patience!"

"okay okay!" you squealed.

"we're going to the beach."

"wait really?"

"NOPE!" they said, bursting out into laughter afterwards.

at their sudden heaps of laughter, you couldn't help but start laughing yourself.

"oh shit, looks like we're here already." they said again.

you looked up quickly, to see nothing but the night sky in front of you.

"hange, what the-"

"look down, love."

as you got out of the car, as soon as you stepped foot outside, you realized that the two of you were on the edge of some cliff. around you, there were loads of grass and plants, as well as rocks on a path , and under you was an endless depth of a mixture of rocks and plants, as well as a waterfall.

"what is this place?" you asked, amazed, getting closer to the edge of the cliff, looking down.

hange shut the door and locked their car, approaching you.

while they walked, they glanced at you, smiling casually.

"honestly? levi and erwin had their first date here. erwin told me about it. i'd never find such a magical place like this on my own!"

getting closer, they protectively wrapped their arms around your waist, gripping it, as they whispered.

"careful, y/n. you might fall."

"oh shut up!"

"whatever!" they said jokingly, taking your hand and going back to the car.

grabbing their keys, they opened the trunk. heaving the door open, behind it was a large blanket and a bag of snacks and drinks.

"hey, help me bring these down over there to where we're going to be sitting on the field please?" she muttered quietly, and you two got to work transporting the things over to the field.

once you two were all set, it was around 7 pm, and you were both sat on the blanket, laying down next to each other, resting your head on some pillows.

"do you enjoy stargazing, y/n?"

"yes, do you?"

"i love it, the stars are beautiful. i've always loved space science and astrology. the universe and the world we live in is just so mesmerizing, isn't it?"

"yeah." you sighed, grateful for this moment with hange, while glancing up at the illuminating spots in the sky.

you were stargazing with hange. what a dream come true this was.

you turned your head to the side, glancing at them. sensing your gaze, they turned to stare at you back, and gave you a small smile. just seeing them smile gave you those annoying butterflies in your stomach.

"y/n?" hange asked, sounding nervous, out of the ordinary.

they sat up, and so did you. you felt a weird feeling in the pit of your stomach, as if something was stuck in there, and you felt yourself sweating slightly. you were nervous.

"yeah?"

"will you be my girlfriend?"
