The last few days had been quiet stressful for everyone. It was obvious Jacaerys was still upset by his mother's decisions. Elaena felt alone. Her mother was always busy with plans with she understood.

Usually she had jace when things got bad, but now since he was angry at the world he had been avoiding her. She was a few months along now, and not having him by her side upset her.

She had finally located him, sitting in a room, by a small wooden table, looking like he was feeling very sorry for himself. She sighed, walking over to him.

"It doesn't befit a prince to pout" she said softly, as he snapped out of his trance, turning his head slightly to look at her.

"I'm not pouting" he mumbled back making her scoff.

"You should tell that to your face jace" she said with a bit of attitude.

"What's wrong with you" he said with a glare.

She turned to him fully, completely losing it now "Me?! How very dare you question me! I am carrying your child, despite the timing being utterly horrible. I am not able to ride my horse, you were the only person there for me, and now you've been ignoring me for days, simply just to sulk! Do not lecture me!" She said her soft voice now replaced by a yell.

His eyes widened as she yelled at him, it was something she didn't do to him rarely, or to anyone for that matter. Her swallowed listening to her words before realising she was right. Gods he had been acting so immaturely.

"El, calm down, don't stress yourself out. Your right, and I'm sorry, I'm so sorry. I should've been there for you, and for that all I can do is apologise" he said softly.

"It's not fair on me jace" she mumbled now close to crying from anger, the signs of her pregnancy now showing clearly.

Seeing her now crying his eyes widened beckoning her over while she sniffled, pulling her onto his lap, hugging her to him while she cried. He whispered in her ear while her tears feel against him.

When she had finally stopped crying badly she lifted her face, still sniffling "I'm sorry I just, I'm just tired, and I missed you" she said.

He sighed, while he wiped her tears softly. He was so angry at himself for leaving her alone these past few days. It wasn't fair on her, after all she was the one carrying their child.

"No, don't apologise. Only I should be saying sorry. I've been acting like a child. I just..seeing those bastards claim the dragons, it makes me feel worthless. If they can what does it make me, we're not even proper Targaryen's either, we're just the same as them" he sighed.

She sniffled "Jace, your the crown prince, just because you might not be a pure blooded Targaryen doesn't make you any less worthy. You and I know it's not the first time one has been named heir when not fathered by their noble father. You are more than just a dragon, you are you" she said softly, kissing his cheek.

"You do have a way with words did I ever tell you that?" He said tucking some hair behind her ear, giving her lips a soft peck.

"You didn't need to, I already know" she smirked.

He laughed at her words, before hugging her close to him, simply enjoying her presence "How've you been feeling?" He asked her glancing down at her bump.

"Not too bad, I haven't been getting sick as much, I think the worst of that is over" she mumbled into his neck.

"That's good, that's very good" he answered back softly before exhaling, his eyes closing contently.

"Will you please come to that dinner with me later?" She asked him softly making his brows fur.

"The one with all the bastards?" He asked her his face scrunched up in disgust.

"Jace! Don't be so nasty! Yes, that one. Now I know you do not wish to go, however, would you really let your pregnant wife sit in a room with all of them without her husband by her side?" She asked looking up at him.

He looked at her large doe eyes for a moment before sighing, giving in "Fine"

"Thank you" she smiled and he only nodded, before beginning to run his hands through her hair, feeling the softness of it, enjoying the peace and quiet.
