"Get out, Takashi!" I screamed; I was really mad about him kidnapping me, and now he randomly appears in my room as if we were still friends.

"Listen, Y/N!, I am sorry I betrayed you, but look, I can explain myself if you just put your knife down." He said it with fear in his eyes; he was clearly scared of what I could do to him. He is like everyone else.

"Y/N!, I did this because I was told to; understand me. My father issued me with the task of finding people who would help us get better cards on the beach. I saw you and thought you were perfect for my task, but the closer I got to you, the more I started to realize I didn't want you to suffer, but sadly, life isn't like this and we don't live in a fairy tale, so we shouldn't bother to discuss."

"Even if you say that, you betrayed me! "I thought we were friends, but look at you right now shaking in fear, plus how is the Hatter your father anyway?"

"It's hard to explain; we met at a Kabukich red-light district." Takashi said, he was hoping that Y/N wouldn't ask so many questions about why they met there.

"So..you met in the other world, and he decided to call you his son in this one," Takashi nodded, agreeing with Y/N. "What were you doing at the Kabukich red-light district?"

Takashi shivered when hearing Y/N's question; he really didn't want Y/N to know his past. The only thing that Y/N knew about him was how he studied medicine and what he was doing before teleporting.

He looked at Y/N; he wanted to trust her, but for some reason he couldn't. However, it wouldn't be so long until Y/N found out about his hobbies.

"I worked at a hostess club," Takashi begs to shed a tear. "It all started when I became a gym model and a singer, and that got overwhelming on social media; fangirls were all over me and they wanted exclusive content. I didn't know how to react, so I panicked, and, well, I ended up at the Sleepless Town. There was this almost abandoned club with male pole dancers. I guess it was a gay area..but I wasn't gay..was I? I ended up spending my free time showing my body to men. When my fans realized this, some left and others came by to see my performances; however, my modeling manager left me. I wanted to go back to my studies and maybe start a career with them since modeling wasn't working anymore. I still sang, but less attention went to my song. When I was working out and got teleported, I was overwhelmed with my future. I was so glad my worries went away. Happy"

Y/N stared at the crying Takashi; she wasn't good at consoling people, but she did know what a hug was. Y/N embraced Takashi until he stopped crying and finally decided to leave her room. Y/N laid down and started thinking to herself.

Y/N POV-

I never really thought about how there were still good people like Takashi left; most people were fake and did everything for themselves, not caring about others sake. But just like Takashi, I also found relief in this world in being able to escape problems and start a new life. It was amazing.

I closed my eyes and went to sleep. Tomorrow, I was going to go to a game just to not blow my cover.

I heard footsteps outside my room from some dudes saying they found people spaying on the beach. I looked at my phone and saw that it was around 3:00 am. I went back to cuddling my pillow and ignoring the noises. It's a good thing I'm a heavy sleeper.

I woke up and put on a cute one-piece, put my hair up, and put on my shark slides. I got on the elevator and headed to get breakfast. I got myself some orange juice and a croissant. After breakfast, I walked to the pool area, where I saw the usual crowd cheering and celebrating. I was sitting in a chair near the pool when I saw two girls staring somewhere. I looked in the direction they were looking and saw the climber and the boy with messy black hair that I played tag with. What a coincidence!

It was none of my business whether they were planning something tough. I'm so sick and tired of unnecessary drama that happens to the main characters; why can't I just lay down and take this break like the background characters?

After some hours of laying down, I decided to go to the beach's personal gym. It wasn't a big deal, but it was good enough to help me stretch out for my next game. I looked at my secret phone and saw that it was already 4 p.m. How lame. I walked out of the gym and headed to my room. I looked around when I got to my floor; I felt like someone was staring at me, but I couldn't make out who it was. I walked into my room and headed to my bathroom. I took a quick shower and put on a more comfortable outfit for the game. I put on some leggings (I knew I was going to get in trouble for that, but whatever), and just to make sure that it still counted as a swimsuit, I put on a bikini top and a zip-up jacket to cover my body with.

I grabbed my pocket knife and hid it between my breasts. (If you've got none, just imagine.) I came up with the idea because my boyfriend once asked me if it was normal to carry my phone in between my breasts since his mom does it lol. I walked out and headed back to the pool area again; it was already nighttime, and everyone was partying really hard. I saw some very inappropriate things but just shrugged them off.

"Hey, it's game time!" I heard a guy scream. Everyone cheered, including me, and I ran towards the beach's main lobby.

"A new game arena has been confirmed in Shinagawa!"

"The cars are in the second parking lot!"

"Adachi and Koto warriors, form two groups! Let's go!

Everyone cheered Hatter's name in excitement as I just stared with my typical blank face.

"Comrades, tonight brings us a new challenge." Hatter said, leaning on the balcony, "And my soldiers never back down from one. This challenge is a war against your own fear," he said, trying to motivate everyone: "Individually, each of you has the courage within to play."

I stopped listening to his dumb speech and headed away from the crowd before they started cheering and running to the parking lot like crazy.

"Go to the car that has your number."

I looked at my paper and walked away, but before completely walking away, I saw Kuina and Chishiya looking at the new members. I couldn't hear everything, but I heard something about a plan that sounded suspicious.

I walked away and got in my car, seeing a bunch of military members get in, including Niragi, who looked at me intrigued to see me in action again.

"Game, Jungle Beast Hunter"

"Work together to defeat the jungle beasts."

"Refer to the scoreboard for point value."

The playful music played as the animals appeared. As people ran away, the military came in with their guns, screaming at people to get away. I took the chance that a girl from the military was distracted and decided to knock her out and take her gun. I thought no one noticed and decided to aim for the boar, which I successfully killed; however, I was getting stared at by an amazed Niragi who wouldn't take his eyes off of me.

I finally noticed his staring and saw him getting ready to aim at the crow. He was aiming carelessly, and just when he got the perfect angle to shoot the bird, I aimed first and killed the bird. He looked in my direction, and I mocked his normal "Too easy." He looked at me annoyed, but yet again I shrugged it off.

The game ended, and we all went home; thankfully, no one died. Niragi wouldn't stop staring at me, which started to make me uncomfortable and wish that I could get home already.

As soon as we parked, I ran quickly to the pool just to evade any type of aggressive conversation with Niragi.

When I got to the pool, everyone was dancing and celebrating yet another victory and the fact that they were still alive. Personally, I found that very disturbing because even if someone's friend died during the game, they still charred it and ignored it like nothing.

I was walking towards the bar but felt myself getting dragged by Kuina towards the two new members of the Beach.

"Is she your girlfriend?" Kuina asked as she took a seat behind the boy with messy hair.

"What? No, I'm not. The climber girl said

"It's obvious you two like each other; why not date?" I interrupted the conversation by sitting down between Kuinas' legs.

"What's it for you?" The boy asked us

"You should live while you are still alive." Kuina responded with a beautiful smile. "My mother is stuck in the hospital; she can't even go to the bathroom by herself." She said

"Mine probably wants to kill me, but look, we are stuck here to do anything about it," I continued Kuina's statement.

"You gotta fight to go back home; that's why I quit smoking..back in the day I couldn't, but to survive I gotta be healthy, and I definitely want to go back to my mom." She said with a lower tone, I grabbed into Kuina's leg and looked up to give her a comforting smile.

I heard clanging noises in the distance while hearing a familiar voice scream, "Stop that crap music." The music stopped, and the military came walking in. I quickly hid behind Kuina since I knew they were here to get me in trouble for hurting a member.

"They are the military; if you want to live in peace here, don't mess with them." Kuina warned the new members

"Unlike what I did, if they do see me, I'll give you a great example of what happens to whores like me," I said, while literally dying inside. Kuina looked at me confused about what I did.

Kuina continued explaining who the rulers on the beach were, but I was too scared to pay attention to her words; all I could think of was that they would kill me.

As Aguni, the military guy I met during Tag, looked at us, I was literally biting my nails and about to spit myself.

"Where is your friend?" He looked towards the messy black-haired boy. "Oh, yeah..he is dead?, too bad."

He then looked behind Kuina, noticing me shaking so much.

"Hey you!" He called out to me, "Shit." "Why are you hiding?"

I stood up straight as the military crew looked at me with rage.

"Oh, you are still alive. "I'm glad someone like you is still alive; you could be of very good use to the military."

Just as I was about to respond, I saw one of his crewmates whisper to him about what I did to one of his members and how I recklessly stole a gun from them that I did give back.

"Hey, bring the woman." He looked at Nigari.

"You got it," Nigari responded, looking at me with rage in his eyes. "Oh, I'm definitely dead, but if I fight back, I'll get the worst kind of dead."

"Woah." The black-haired boy got in front of me, trying to protect me from getting taken away.

"Are you crazy?" Kuina said, panicking. She was worried about me and the other boy.

"My boss said to bring you with him." He carried me up in bride style.

"Leave her." The boy still defended me.

"Are you a tough guy? What should I do with him?" Nigari looked at his boss.

"Break both his legs so he dies in the next game," Aguni responded.

Ugh, I'm so tired of just standing here. "Hey Niragii," I called out to him, and he looked down at me as I took the chance to punch him in the face, which made him drop me.

"Fuck you woman," he said, rubbing his bowed nose.

"Is there a problem here?" Hater appeared

Kuina quickly grabbed my hand and walked me away from the situation. I was relieved. I swear I was so close to actually shitting my pants, but after walking far enough, Chishiya approached us and asked Kuina, not noticing my presence.

"So? How was he? Is he good?

"He was great."

"How about Y/N? Were you able to ask any of her team members about her?"

I heard Kuina giggling a little bit; it was kind of dumb of Chishiya to not notice my presence.

"I think she was great, like literally, she was so good that the militaries are after her now," I said, stepping close to him. Chishiya freaked out about my presence; he looked quite nervous.

"How come? What did Y or N do?" Chishiya played along.

"Let's just say she got too bored to sit around watching the military have fun with their cheating guns that she decided to knock one of the embers and still their gun, very clueless of her if you ask me."

"Yeah, very, she is so dumb and stupid, she could never be anything special or rather useful... "However, she is really pretty." He mumbled the last part.

"Hey, stop being mean! "I'm right here."

"Oh, you are. Sorry. You are so unimportant that I didn't even notice your presence."

"Oh, really, or are you just trying to hide the fact that you are so blind you didn't even notice me?"

"CAN YOU STOP FLIRTING!?" I'm still here, y'all know." Kuina reproached

"WE ARE NOT FLIRTING!" me and Chishiya said in unison
