After Furina patched Venti up, she politely excused herself outside of the room and swiftly left. Part of Venti was quite curious about what the sudden matter was and another part wasn't too interested. She might have been going for her 4th helping of yogurt today.

Venti cautiously peeked out and eyed Furina and Kusanali in the hallway. They were talking to each other, but what made Venti's blood run cold was when Furina mentioned his name.

"...Wait. Venti killed someone? Like willingly killed someone?" She rasped, wringing her hands in nervousness. Kusanali nodded with sad, misty eyes. "But...he's done something like this in the past, right? He should be fine." Furina tried to smile but it came out a lot faker than she anticipated.

"No. He actually enjoyed killing whoever he did. I'm thinking of buying him medication so this doesn't happen again. He's never done anything like this, trust me." Kusanali reminded. She took Furina's hand and looked up at her. "Please take care of him and make sure he only fights in self defense and not..." She paused and shook off the horrid thought of Venti beating an innocent civilian to death.

"He...he's not going to do that type of thing! I refuse to believe it!!" Furina slapped Kusanali's hand away and backed up. "What you're saying is all lies. He would never kill someone on purpose! He's too sweet for his own good to do something like that!"

"No, he DID do something like that. He directly told me he did. I would never lie to you or anyone else!" Kusanali shot back in defense.

Meanwhile, Venti was frozen in place watching the two argue back and forth. He glanced out of the corner of his eye that Tsuri was watching them too.

But what was more important was the reason Kusanali told Furina that he killed someone. Why? Why did she do this? A part of Venti's mind broke slightly at the thought. Let's call it "Respect for the Other Archons".

He had thought about this for so long, he didn't notice that the two other archons were full on shouting.

"QUIT LYING TO ME!" Furina screamed with tears in her eyes. "IVE KNOWN HIM FOR A LONG TIME! HE WOULDN'T KILL ANYONE FOR REVENGE!!"

"HE DID. I MAY HAVE NOT SEEN IT BUT I DID HEAR HIM SAY HE MURDERED SOMEONE! I DON'T KNOW WHO BUT HE DID."

"What is all of the commotion about?" A voice uttered, annoyed. The two irritated archons turned to see Ei, the Electro Archon, walking towards them.

"She won't believe me! I keep telling her that Barbatos killed someone but she just...won't listen!" Kusanali explained, also with tears in her eyes.

"Barbatos...killed someone?" Ei spoke barely above a whisper. "Do you know why he would do such a thing?" Kusanali and Furina shook their heads.

"Ei, could you tell this liar that Venti would never do such a thing?! You know him, right? He doesn't seem like the type of person to kill!"

Great, now the Shogun knows. Venti needed to step in before all of the archons knew. Well, before Zhongli and Mavuika know. Because now, Furina, Kusanali, Ei, and Tsuri (who was watching silently from a distance) all know about the situation. He slowly came out of the training room and walked towards the group in fear.

"Uh...hi." He greeted. "Yes, all of this is true. I did kill someone. But it was on accident. I was blinded by anger and I never had the intention to do so."

Everyone stared at him in shock, mouths agape. "SEE?! I told you!" Kusanali piped up and stuck out her tongue at Furina.

"Kusanali." Venti spoke in a monotone voice. "I thought you wouldn't tell anyone. Did you remember what I said if you did?" His eyes were blank and empty. There was no expression on his face. He seemed to feel...nothing. Not even fear.

"I told you that if you told any of the archons, someone would pay for your disobedience. I was going to put my hands around your throat but I think someone else should pay instead." Venti smiled through all of this. He sounded cheerful while talking about what he told Kusanali before, which was deeply unsettling for everyone.

"Actually, nevermind. I think you should pay in front of everyone." Venti strode towards Kusanali and swiftly started to choke her. During the violent situation, Furina and Ei were trying to pull him off while Kusanali was starting to turn purple.

"HEY!" A shout rang through the hallway. Everyone craned there necks towards Mavuika, who was wielding a glass vase that was no bigger than someone's arm. "KUSANALI, MOVE YOUR HEAD!" She yelled at hurled the vase. Right at Venti's face.

Kusanali was free from Venti's grasp but she was paralyzed in horror seeing the gorey sight at Venti's face. Blood was dripping down and his nose was bleeding profusely. Several cuts with shards of glass stuck out of his skin. And to add more insult to injury, Venti wasn't moving.

Kusanali shook him, begging for him to wake up. What she did not know was that Venti was awake the whole time.

His mind was breaking even more. His respect for his God friends was at nothing. They all hated him now for what he did, and there wasn't any way for him to fix it. He imagined them yelling at him and kicking him out of Celestia, while setting fire to his room. The final straw was when an image of the picture him and Lumine took was turned to nothing but dust.

And just like that, that portion of his brain shattered too.

Venti slowly got up and stood, balancing himself until he stood upright. He swayed a bit from the loss of blood but that didn't stop him. Venti started to laugh at the ridiculousness of the situation, face covered in blood. At this point, it didn't even hurt.

"Look what you've done! Now he's gone crazy." Kusanali fumed. She went up to him and gently shook his shoulder. "Hey...are you ok?" She coaxed. Venti stopped laughing; gritting his teeth, he slapped her hand away.

"Don't you fucking touch me." He ordered, eyes glowing and staring right into the depths of her soul. You could almost see the abyss in his eyes...

Kusanali backed up, putting her hands in front of her as a defense mechanism. "Please...don't hurt me, I beg of you.." She pleaded.

Venti's right eye (your left) shined black with the usual anemo symbol as he rolled his eyes. "Oh pleeeaaase. I'm not about to hurt you. I changed my mind." Venti smirked at Kusanali's fear, sadistic pleasure flowing through his blood.

"You all make me laugh. It's stupid how one little thing happens and soon everyone won't shut up about it. Besides, I'm not the only one who has killed people before. Morax used to kill alongside me. But we changed for the better. However, I'm starting to want to kill people again...but more violently. You won't stop me, right?"

No one spoke up to answer him. They were all too focused on his blood dripping onto the floor and making a small blue puddle before his feet.

A small "oof" escaped Venti's lips and he put his hand up to his bloodsoaked forehead. "A headache is starting to kick in. Why did you pick a vase, Fuega?" His voice trailed off as his eyes rolled back, and he swayed back and forth farther than the last time.

"I'm ok...just need...fresh air...mm." He muttered and wobbled away towards the door. Practically hanging on the door, he opened it and shuffled outside.

"I'm gonna follow him." Furina told everyone and dashed outside.

Through the blood, Venti sat on the very edge of Celestia's outside floor and looked at another picture of Lumine he always kept with him. She looked so beautiful, he didn't even notice he was still bleeding heavily.

His hearing started to ring and his vision blurred. He saw darkness around the corners of his eyes and knowing he would pass out, he continued to sit there. He heard Furina's voice but he couldn't make out what she was saying. Oh well. It was useless anyway.

Venti started to lean forward and then finally, he fell off of Celestia towards the world below.

Furina was just a few seconds too late.

The last thing Venti heard before loosing consciousness was Furina screaming from above him. And everything went black.

Venti fell towards the world of Teyvat, eyes closed and bleeding heavily. He didn't know if this was the end for him or maybe someone would come and save him. Before his mind went to static, he uttered a plea.

Please...
Someone...
Anyone...
Save me...

_______________

He came to on top of a couch in someone's house. Puzzled, he got up and noticed his clothes changed. He now wore a striped green shirt with his black and yellow bowtie wrapped at the collar, a frog hat, black shoes, black pants, and a bandage on his face. His hair appeared to be more fluffy than usual. His braids were also undone. How strange.

His first thought was that Lumine did this. He looked at the room and it resembled his room when he lived with Lumine. Wait...

This was the house they shared. Oh. That explains it.

He gently took off the bandages and gasped. There were no more cuts or shards of broken glass on his face. He smiled and blushed madly. She took care of him while he was unconscious. It just made him love her even more.

He felt incomplete without the bandages so he rummaged through his bathroom and found a small but cute bandage and put it on his nose since it also was bleeding heavily. He rushed to the living room and decided to reward Lumine by playing games with her once she returned. It was going to take a while to get fully set up to her likings, but it was worth it because he loved her dearly.

______________

The lock clicked as a silhouette came through the door. Lumine closed the door, locked it and was greeted by the sight of Venti playing a game on the tv (yes in this au, technology is a thing but not all of it, like phones).

He noticed her and waved with a smile. "Oh, Traveler! You're back! Thank you for taking care of me! Are you up for a game as a reward? You can rest on my lap if you win~" He beamed and stuck out his tongue.

"Venti! Oh, you scared me by falling out of the sky like that. Your face looked awful! I'm surprised it didn't change your look completely. What happened?" Lumine sat on the couch next to Venti.

He put his head on her shoulder and Lumine played with his hair while he spoke. "Ah, it's hard to explain. However, I'm perfectly fine now. You do look a bit tired from commissions. Sooo, I decided to help you unwind a bit!" He sat up slightly to boop her nose.

"Boop." He giggled. Lumine blushed a little, to her surprise the luminosity of the room still made it hard to see if she was blushing or not.

"Ah fine. I'll change and join you in a bit. Once I get back, you're going down!" Lumine declared as she put her hands on her hips. "Ohohoho~ I like your fighting spirit! You'll be eating those words very soon though~~" Venti taunted in a sing-song tone.

_____________

"WAAAAH! NO WHY DID I GET HIT BY A TURTLE SHELL?!" Venti cried out as Lumine bursted out laughing. To distract him, she tickled his side with one hand and Venti struggled to not laugh. "Ack! No-" He slapped her hand away gently and pointed.

"If you don't stop, I'm gonna add your fingers to my next meal!" Lumine could tell he didn't mean it because he was trying his damndest to not burst out laughing.

_________

"YES! YES I WON!!" Lumine jumped for joy as Venti's face froze on the screen. "TheSilentTraveler" won first place on Mario Kart.

"Fineee. You win! Congrats!" Venti hugged her close. He was trying to steer her away from another bet she made if she won. "Thank you very much, Venti! Ah, I gotta get the cat ears. Wait just a second!"

Lumine giggled like a madwoman as she ran to her room once more. Venti stared ahead in horror. She remembered. Oh God she remembered.

Lumine took off his frog hat and placed the black cat ears upon Venti's head as he looked away and hid his face to hide the intense blush he wore. "Awwww, you look adorable! Come on, can you meow for me?"

"WHA- NO!" Venti shouted through his hands. "Pleeeeeeaaaaaaasse?" Lumine begged with puppy dog eyes. Venti could see through the gaps between his fingers and rolled his eyes and sighed. There were times he couldn't say no to her and now was a time to say "hell no." But he just couldn't. Lumine was his crush after all.

"Ok fine! But just once." Venti cleared his throat before putting in a big smile.

"Nyaa~!"

As soon as the word escaped his lips, he buried his face into his hands in sheer embarrassment. At least no one else heard him.

Lumine pulled him into a hug. "Awwwwh Venti! That was so adorable."

"No it wasn't!"
"Yes it was!"
"NOOOOOOOO!!"
"YEEEEESSSS!!"

Venti glared at her, face completely red.

"I hate you." He muttered, crossed his arms and averted his gaze.

"I love you too Venti." Lumine gushed and put her head on his shoulder. And at that moment, the bard began to melt into a puddle.

I love you more~ hehe.
