The next morning Kim woke up and got ready for school. Putting on black sweatpants, an oversized red shirt with a white jumper underneath, and wearing a pair of red Vans. Grabbing their backpack and skateboard, he was on his way to school. When she opened her door, she found her cousin on the couch sleeping. Still in uniform from a long day at the Auto shop yesterday. Not wanting to wake him up, he walked out of the house and walked through the gate.

Letting the board hit the concrete, they made them down the street and made the same two right turns they make every day while heading to school. They were tempted by the Tanakas to take them to school. At least grab a snack and go on their way to school, but that would've been selfish of them. It was selfish.

At some point, Kim zoned out and mindlessly made it to Kiyo and Ryu's house. While thinking, Aki ran up to the closed gate and waited for the girl to pet her. Kim smiled and rand both hands down the fur coat of the dog.

"Who's a good girl aye? You are!" He noticed the extra cars in the driveway but didn't go in to investigate. They needed to head to school right away. Especially with how quickly they get distracted by Aki simply being around them. They were so distracted that they didn't notice Tanaka walking towards him with two other men.

"I see you're making stops here to say morning?" Kim looked up in shock of being caught. Now finally addressing the other two males and bowed down slightly.

"Sorry. I didn't mean to be a bother. I'll leave now." Tanaka smiled and stopped them by putting a hand in front of them making sure they didn't go anywhere.

"Slow down. I'm not upset. These are my friends. Daichi Sawamura and Koushi Sugawara." He introduced which let the two reach their hands out for the teenager to shake. She did so and smiled.

"I'm Atsuhina Kimiko. Please call me Kim. Any pronouns are fine-"

"And if Kim isn't your style, you have the options of Kimi, Kimiko, Slim-Shady-69, mini John Mulaney, and Bug." The two looked at the green-haired-teen and smiled confusedly. They nodded with pride and continued to pet the dog in front of them. "We were heading to Mcdonalds' to get some breakfast because Kiyo was sleeping. Wanna join? Free food and you'll get another free ride to school."

"Sure! I call shotgun and the aux cord!" they smiled leaping off the gate effortlessly like they've done it hundreds of times and sped off to the truck with Tanaka following them. Daichi and Suga close behind.

"You noticed that right?" The officer asked the teacher, whispering to make sure the two children didn't hear. The silver-haired man nodded but kept walking not commenting further. As they all settled in the car, Kim was about to ask for the phone till Tanaka handed her the charger that was connected to the speaker. She smiled and plugged into her phone before playing an iconic song.

"I GOT THIS FEELING ON THE SUMMER DAY WHEN YOU WERE GONE!!" They began yelling out with passion alongside Tanaka who was singing too but being careful driving. Daichi was smiling and semi-bopping his head while watching the two and Suga was recording the interaction. "I DON'T CARE! I LOVE IT!" 

This continued for the next five minutes till they reached the drive-through. The three men gave their orders and then Kimiko gave hers to Tanaka.

"And a hotcakes set please." They repeated the order back and when they confirmed it the total was given.

"Okay, that'll be 2700€." Kim's eyes widened in horror. They felt bad for making Tanaka spend money on them. So sneakily when Tanaka was paying they grabbed his wallet and put the money they owed him inside. They had forgotten that Suga and Daichi were behind him and didn't notice them smiling fondly at the action.

When they got their food and Kim grabbed their separate bag, they arrived at the school and saw Fumi, Kusuo, and Suzume waiting at the front entrance for them. They got out of the truck and bowed their heads slightly.

"Thank you for the ride and meal! I'll see you around Mr.Tanaka." Before closing the door all the way they heard Tanaka yell.

"Just call me Ryu, kid!" They froze shortly before walking over to their friends and saying their greetings. When the truck went away her friends stared at her.

"Was that the same guy that dropped you off yesterday?" Fumi asked. Kim nodded and offered a sip of their coffee. He shook his head no and thanked them for the offer.

"He invited me to get breakfast with his friends. I think one's a cop. His vibe was all authority and tense. Especially after I jumped the gate." Kim then walked in with Kusuo next to them.

"You what?" Suzume questioned, not getting an answer, and proceeded to pester the teenager.

"Hey Tanaka, check your wallet," Suga said as they got home and Daichi was helping Kiyoko set up the dining area. Ryu tilted his head and pulled it out while looking through it. An extra 540€ was in there and he started thinking.

'Did I forget to pay that portion? They would have said something.' They looked at Suga confused till he noticed the smiles on the other three adults.

"The kid snuck it in when you weren't looking," Daichi said while eating his breakfast sandwich. Ryu smiled put the wallet back into his deep man pants pockets and continued chatting with his wife and friends. After having breakfast, they started talking about the kid again.

"Can't believe Bug put the money in there. She's a good one." Tanaka praised with a prideful look. Suga smiled at his Kohai and looked over to Daichi and Kiyoko. They were in the living room talking about work-related problems. "Are you ever going to confess?" Suga jumped at the voice. He turned his head at Tanaka who had a semi-smug expression on his face.

"What are you talking about?" The elementary school teacher asked. The happy married man gave a look that would have only been given by a disappointed big brother. Despite being younger than the latter.

"Don't pull that with me. You know what I mean." He exasperated out to his friend in denial. With a small smile making it known it was light-hearted teasing.

"Then my answer hasn't changed, never. I'm in too deep to say anything now." Seeing the depressed look on Suga's face Tanaka decided to change that.

"We're gonna go to the store and get some drinks. Tsukishima and Yamaguchi did say they were heading over today." Kiyoko nodded and walked over to him. She gave him a quick kiss which he returned while Daichi and Suga watched the cute interaction cutely. "Stay safe."

"We should be telling you that." Daichi joked while the two men walked out the door. Aki then went over to Daichi for scratches, which he happily gave. When Kiyoko walked back over to the couch turned the television on set it to YouTube and clicked it on Kim's video with her friends. "She reminds me of Noya when he was younger." Kiyoko smiled and nodded her head in agreement.

After watching a few funny videos, they started scrolling on their phones taking a break from the chaos.

"I'm glad you met her. You guys seem more alive." Daichi told the woman next to him. She smiled fondly and sighed putting her phone down. It was true. May have only been a day but for some reason, the kid had made the couple's energy more,... more.

"Tanaka hasn't stopped playing her videos. They've clicked on a different level." The beauty of a woman states about her husband. She sighed after a slight pause in conversation. "Well, aside from that topic, tell me, are you going to confess to Suga? The man you've had a crush on since first-year high school?"

"Haha. Very funny."

"I'm just saying, there might not be a Mrs.Sawamura after all." Smiling, Daichi shook his head and turned it away. Biting the inside of his cheek trying to not think of his best friend laughing at something one of their other friends said. A weird look he used to give whenever Miyamura would 'flirt', with him.

"I'm a cop, he probably thinks I'm straight." Kiyoko gave him an eyebrow raise. Rolling his eyes he went to play another one of Kim's videos till the doorbell rang. He gave a look to Kiyo who had a confused look.

"I thought you're lover took his keys."

"He did. Unless he deattached the house keys." Daichi got up to go see who was at the door. When he opened the door he was met with the same teenager from the morning.

"SURPRISE SHAWTY!" They yelled with their arms in the air for dramatic effect. When they didn't get a reaction other than a feminine chuckle, most likely from Kiyoko who was behind him, opened their eyes to see who was in front of them. "Oh, my bad! I thought Tanaka was gonna open the door. Mr.Tanaka that is, not you miss!" They frantically tried to explain but Kiyo just smiled and calmed their nerves.

'If the universe thinks this woman isn't meant to be a mother,... boy is it wrong.' Daichi thought as they let the kid into the house.

Kim was walking home from school. The thing was, their skateboard had been confiscated because a substitute thought it wasn't right for them to bring it into the classroom. So he couldn't get it back till tomorrow. What's worse is that they were supposed to have it returned during lunch, when they tried to get it back from the principal's office, they were told that because they were rude to the sub, they wouldn't be getting it back.

Which was total bullshit for Kimi especially because it ended in her not being able to have lunch. So now she was tired, hungry and what's worse? Her lovely cousin decided it would be fun to take a double shift so they would be stuck alone at home without food. That is until a lightbulb went off in their head.

'If I stop at the Tanaka's place,... would they let me have some leftovers?' She thought to herself, debating whether to continue being a nuisance to the nice couple or not. While they strongly leaned toward starving for the night, since they're terrible at cooking and could give themselves salmonella from eggs, they opted to live for the night and continued walking till they hit the location of the couple's house. 

Jumping over the fence again and heading to the front door debating on ringing the bell.

"You got this. Not a big deal. Just a normal teenager,... asking a couple for leftovers." Taking a deep breath. Kim pushed the button and let the bell ring. When they heard footsteps approaching, their mind started racing. 'Crap! What do I say!?'

Then it came to them, the best idea possible. Getting into position, waiting for the door to open, the door cracks open, and,...

"SURPRISE SHAWTY!"

Suga and Tanaka were at the store grabbing snacks and a few drinks. They got alcohol and some normal drinks so they wouldn't get that drunk. Being able to get necessities, the men both walked up to the self-checkout and continued on their way back to the truck.

"Think they're doing okay?" Suga asked Tanaka. Raising an eyebrow to be specific, the silver-haired man sighed and continued. "Tsuki and Yams. We haven't talked since New Year. We didn't disagree or anything. Just been busy with work and stuff." The man with fluffed hair nodded in understanding.

"Yeah, most likely. They've always been a dynamic duo of their own. I wasn't surprised when they told us they were getting married on the down low. It's more convenient too." Surprisingly, a mature response from the personal trainer while he was loading the groceries into the truck. Then a playful smirk was put on the man's face, "Who knows? Maybe you can learn a thing or two from your Kohai~"

"Start the truck." Suga deadpanned as Tanaka laughed and got in the driver's seat.
