Rae answers "well obviously you know Ariana she's my best friend here randomized roommate from freshman year, but my three best friends from back home are Maya, who grew up on my street then there's Hayley, I met her in girl scouts then there's Valerie, I met her in elementary school and me Maya and Val already went to school together but then in middle school Hayley joined our school and the four of us became inseparable since then"

Rutger smiles listening to Raelynn talk mindlessly about her favorite people all he can think was how effortlessly gorgeous she was she seemed so happy talking about these people and how he wished she'd talk about him like that.

In perfect time of Raelynn finishing talking their food was brought over creating a comfortable silence between the pair till it was broken by Rae asking "howd you get into hockey, like how long have you been playing?"

Rutger looks back at Raelynn with excitement in his eyes "well I started when I was kid, played since I was 3 it's practically my whole life three nights a week early mornings all that shit didn't start getting notoriety till high school then it got to 2022 and came time for the draft and I ended up going 14th over all to the Jets and then came here to play NCAA and I've played for team USA honestly, hockey is my favorite thing all I wanna do with my life. Sorry I'm rambling"
