it had been a few days since the beach. the new couple had spent every day since then together, exploring the small coastal town, relaxing, and enjoying their time. but tonight, they both agreed that it was time to share the news with their friends. they were no longer just "flirting" or "maybe seeing each other"—they were a couple.

the evening was calm, the waves still gently crashing against the shore as everyone gathered in the living room of the airbnb. the room was filled with the sounds of chatter, the smell of pizza and snacks, and the comfort of everyone being in each other's company.

the teens and their parents were scattered around the airbnb, making casual conversation. ariella and walker exchanged a look, both of them a little nervous but excited. this was a big step, and they were both anxious to tell everyone.

ariella was the first to speak up, her voice a little shaky as she stood in front of the group. "hey, guys... can we talk to you for a second?"

the room quieted almost immediately, and all eyes were on her. she shot walker a small smile for reassurance, and he gave her a nod, his hand subtly finding hers in the crowd.

blake's eyes narrowed playfully. "ooh, what's going on?"

leena, who was sitting on the arm of the couch, gave them them both a teasing look. "yeahhhh whats going on"

ariella took a deep breath, feeling her heart race a little. It wasn't that she was nervous, exactly, but it felt like this moment had been building up for so long. she wanted to do it right.

walker smiled, squeezing her hand before turning to the group. "well, actually, there is something we've been meaning to tell you."

everyone went quiet, intrigued now. ariella's mom, who was sitting beside ariella's dad, smiled knowingly, but she didn't interrupt.

"i don't know how to say this, so ill just say it," ariella continued. "walker and i are... together. we're a couple now."

blake's face lit up in the brightest smile ariella had ever seen. she jumped up from the couch, rushing over to them. "OH MY GOD! finally!" she pulled them both into a hug, her excitement overflowing. "i knew it! I knew you guys would figure it out! ugh, this is the best!"

leena immediately followed suit, practically skipping over to them. "yesss! this is perfect! i mean, come on, we all saw this coming." she grinned at walker and ariella, eyes sparkling. "you guys are like the cutest couple ive ever seen."

ariella's parents exchanged a look, and her mom smiled. "i'm glad to hear that. you two make a wonderful pair."

walker's parents, who had been quietly watching the exchange, also shared a pleased look before his mom spoke. "we're so happy for you two," she said warmly. "it's nice to see you both so happy together. ariella is a wonderful young lady, walker you're lucky to have her "

later own in the night, when all the kids were on the couch watching a movie. blake pulled out her phone and called the entire group. ariella, walker, and her had planned a soft launch to the group. 

the call picked up, and leah's face filled the screen, her eyes immediately lighting up when she saw ariella and walker layed together on the couch, ariella practically asleep on top of him. "wait—hold up. are they...?"

before she could finish her sentence, dior's face appeared, a huge grin on her face. "OH MY GOD."

ariella moved a little in her sleep, causing walker to laugh ar"yup. it's official now."

mason & aryans faces popped into the screen next, "oh hell yeaa, #walkella"

charlie, who was sitting next to Aryan, raised his eyebrows in mock surprise. "wait, hold on. is this it?"

"yes guyssss," walker said with a grin, glancing at ariella. "ariellas my girlfriend losers"

leah literally couldn't contain her excitement. "i knew it, i KNEW it! i'm literally screaming. this is the best news ever."
