Lia laid on her green couch, her phone tossed to the side as she tried to occupy her mind with Regular Show, one of the most simple minded cartoons there was. Her leg trembled slightly, her nails in her mouth as she chewed them all off out of anxiety, leaving her ex girlfriend on read.

It hurt more to respond to the girl than it did to have no communication at all. It was annoying to hear how 'proud' she was when she wrote those songs crying on her bathroom floor at the dead of night, her heart hollow and her eye bags more apparent than ever.

Those lyrics haunted her, the reminder that the brunette wanted to be apart of her life but due to a simple photo she took the first option there was to flee, leaving the borderline girl on her own to make worse decisions than before.

Olivia grounded her, she felt alive and happy in her presence. But when her absence rolled around her addictions got worse, her urge to use again overpowering her will to quit them all. She no longer felt a thing in her body, besides when she was around her new kitten and her favorite couple. And that's why she continued abusing substances, her body craving the feeling of no longer being sober, wether that was with or without drugs.

"How are you doing?" Persephone questioned as she exited her room, Noel not too far behind as they made their way into the kitchen. Cabinets opening as they searched for snacks for the two of them.

"I'm okay." Lia lied slightly, chewing upon her lip as she slips under the blankets. Mads laying upon the girl as a soft purr hummed from the furry animal, the kitten trying her best to heal her owner from her emptiness.

"Would you mind if Noel and I joined you? We don't want to leave you alone when you're like this."

Those words were something Lia never heard. Expect for Liv. The three of them being the only people who ever cared about her besides her aunt and her husband. A small nod came from the girl as the two sat down in the loveseat as they munched on strawberry cupcakes, the container sitting upon the table as to taunt Lia's growling stomach.

Whenever she got like this she would often isolate herself, refusing to eat or do other basic needs as she had a tendency to make her pain even worse. She hadn't showered in days, her body feeling gross as she lingered in her own filth. Her hair was tied into a bun, refusing to feel the disgusting feeling of it on the back of her neck, her face rid of makeup, the feeling of ugliness setting in as her eyes were glued to the television.

After a few hours passed Persephone pushed for Lia to take a shower and brush her teeth, the blonde planning on bringing her boy toy and Lia downtown to her favorite small business boba shop.

The goddess named girl always had a thing for supporting small businesses, eco friendly, cruelty free, and healthy living choices. She would spend hours with Lia in the middle of an isle, looking over a products tag to see if it was locally sourced or tested on animals. Her entire balcony was filled with plants as she grew her own food and tried her hardest to recycle and stay away from plastic. She was much like the woman she named after, a love of the earth burning in her heart.

The three friends walked downtown, a bell chiming above them as Noel and Seph ordered the drinks for them while Lia sat upon a faux leather couch. The couple came back with their drinks, Noel passing Lia hers as Persephone placed down a couple food options such as Mochi and Macaroons.

"I know you haven't eaten that much lately so I got some light snacks incase you wanted to try to!" Persephone smiled, poking her paper straw into a biodegradable cup.

The night passed on, the friends having fun as Lia slowly started to escape her depressive episode and fuel her body. Noel kept suggesting dog names for himself, the girls being no help.

"I'm thinking Bruce!" He states as her played with the tapioca, the two girls arching a brow as they laughed at him for suggesting a boys name, "Well what about Brucey? I want it based off of the killer shark!"

"From Nemo?" Lia stifled a laugh as Persephone playfully whacked her, laughing loudly as she had thought the same thing.

"No!! From Jaws."

"It has a name?!" Persephone asked dumbfounded as she had Lia collapsed into each other once more as euphoria streamed through their veins.

Everything that Lia had been anxious over fading to nothing.
