"alright i posted something about it, you happy now tommy?" i put my phone down and faced a very satisfied blonde haired boy.

"yes mother," he smiled and walked to the fridge, probably to raid it again. i giggled and wandered into my recording room where wilbur was watching youtube.

"what you watching?" i asked which scared the life out of him as he didn't hear me enter.

"holy fu- fuuuuuuudge, you scared the god damn life out of me!" he screamed.

"okay ghostbur," i burst out laughing and so did he. i like laughing at my own jokes even though it wasn't THAT funny so i don't know why wilbur's laughing so hard but i won't question it.

"do you want to do something with the boys again today?" i asked wilbur as he's been hanging out with me for days on end, been starting to wonder if he's sick of me yet.

"of course," he stood up and wrapped his arms around my waist.

"good, otherwise i would've left you here," i giggled and hugged him back.

"you wouldn't have gotten very far silly, remember i'm the one that can drive," he looked down at me and raised an eyebrow.

"oh. right," i forgot about that part. he just chuckled and looked at the door where tommy was peaking his head through to 'spy' on us, "tommy you cheeky mother fucker GET BACK HERE!"

tommy let out a high pitched squeal and started running for his life as a very tall wilbur chased after him, shouting and screaming. i followed them out of my recording room trying to calm myself down from the laughing fit i was currently having and went to go sit next to tubbo at my kitchen counter.

"so, how's it been hanging out with us?" i asked tubbo who smiled at me.

"it's great! i love hanging out with you guys, i just wish it lasted longer.." tubbo trailed off at the end and a frown slowly replaced his bright smile.

"is everything okay?" i asked, worry painting my face.

"school has just been really stressful, and this has taken my mind off of it, i hate being stressed," he let out a sigh and looked down at his feet.

"hey, it'll be okay. only a few weeks until the end of the school year and i know you're smart enough to make it. i'll try to do whatever i can to help you and take your mind off of it. i hate being stressed too," i gave him a reassuring smile and pulled him in for a hug.

"thankyou toria," he spoke into my shoulder, his voice cracking a bit.

"anytime bee boy," i giggled and broke away from the hug as the two lanky boys entered the kitchen.

we talked for a bit before we all agreed to go hang out at the beach for a day out together so i went into my room to get ready. i heard a soft knock on my door while i was rummaging through my closet for a bathing suit, "come in," i quietly spoke. i didn't turn away from what i was focused on until i heard the person who entered speak.

"hello mother," of course. its tommy, probably coming to annoy me again.

"yes tommy?" i looked up at him as he sat on my bed. he gave me a cheeky look and i wondered what he was up to, "what's going on? you're scaring me."

"so, you and wilbur huh?" he wiggled his eyebrows at me and i sighed in frustration. we never thought of each other like that, we're just best friends.

"tommy, you know me and him are best friends right?" i put my hands on my hips to convey seriousness to the childish boy.

"oh come on toria, isn't it dreadfully obvious to you?" he laughed in a somewhat surprised tone.

"what's dreadfully obvious, did i miss something?" i asked.

"holy shit you actually don't see it," tommy scoffed and raised an eyebrow, "it's so obvious that you two have the hots for each other."

"no we don't, we're BEST FRIENDS," i kept explaining to him how we we're strictly platonic but he didn't seem to grasp what i was saying.

he eventually left out of frustration but before he left my room he turned around and said, "i see the way you two look at each other, best friends don't look at each other like that but anyways," and with that he left. i was left stunned in my place. was he right? no he couldn't be. i never thought of wilbur that way, i think. or did i? i was left with painful overthinking to deal with. thanks tommy.

i decided to brush off what tommy just said as it was probably not true. i mean, he's tommy. i finished getting ready and headed into the lounge room where everyone else was waiting to go to the beach.

"you ready?" wilbur stood up and grabbed his car keys.

"uh- yep," i gave him a nervous smile. why was i acting like this? oh i know why, because tommy got into my head. just act normal and everything will be normal. thought's about me and wilbur were racing through my head as we walked down to our car. i finally got shotgun without tommy trying to get it first. i was more focused on the thoughts rushing through my brain than plugging my phone into the aux so i was snapped out of my thoughts when wilbur spoke up.

"hey, tori are you okay?" he could tell something was up and he was one of the only people i had trouble lying to. i just tried my hardest to put on a smile and stammered a small 'im okay'. i know he didn't believe me but he brushed it off for the moment.

we finally got to the beach and we all swiftly hopped out of the car to get into the water. i decided to stay back for a moment and set up my things before running straight into the ocean.

"hey, you coming?" a worried wilbur called out to me.

"yeah, just setting up my stuff and i'll be there in a second," i smiled to him. he gave a warm smile back and ran into the ocean where tubbo and tommy we're already splashing around. i quickly dropped the remainder of my things on the towel and took off my dress to reveal my swimsuit. i threw my dress down and bolted into the sea with a smile not threatening to falter anytime soon. i ran straight to where wilbur was and he immediately splashed my face with salty water.

"oh you're going to pay for that!" i screamed as i swam toward him and pushed him with enough force to knock him over into the ocean. he popped his head up and we both started laughing as hard as ever.

"well then he's more payback!" he shouted back and without warning picked me up and dropped me back into the water. i was under the water and couldn't find the way up as there was a double wave washing over the surface of the ocean, tossing me around. i struggled to bring myself back up and was physically fighting for my life but when i finally reached the surface, i figured out that i got washed pretty far out to sea. i took a deep breath of fresh oxygen as i held my breath for too long underwater. wilbur looked smaller than he was the last time i was above the surface.

i struggled to keep myself afloat as fighting those waves already tired me out quite a bit. i waved for wilbur to help even though he noticed before hand but i was weakening quickly. my head would half submerge under each wave that passed by, bringing me further out and i was slowly sinking. i felt like i swallowed a whole lake already but more water continued to enter my lungs the more i got exhausted from resisting the rip. as i was about to fully go under i felt a pair of familiar arms wrap around me and pull me through the water.
