I grab my phone and press accept and I set it up on my desk. the screen takes like two seconds to load and I see his very beautiful face pop up. he's wearing a gray shirt while laying in his bed in the dark.

I gave him a smile and asked "I need to pick out what to wear for friday, wanna help?" I study his face and he replies "it's just a game" I roll my eyes and say "well I'm going to a festival after with oikawa and some friends" his face turned more serious after I mentioned that "why are you hanging with him?"

slightly confused at his reaction you ask him "umm Kageyama do you happen to know Oikawa?" his voice shakes a little "we went to junior high together, he was really good at volleyball but he didn't really like me for some reason" i nod my head and thought I probably shouldn't ask any further.

"so you wanna help me pick out an outfit or not?" he slowly nods his head and I smile very brightly "okay I'll be right back" I excitedly say before leaving to pick out some outfits. I change into the first one.

you adjust your hair a little then walk back into the frame for Kageyama to see "okay this is the first outfit, what do you think?" his face lights up a little "it's nice" was all he said. you did a 360 for him then went to change into the other outfit.

you slowly walk back into the frame and do a little twirl "what about this one?" He just nods and I change into the last outfit I had planned

you show Kageyama the last outfit "okay that's all of them, which one did you like best?" he blushed a little as he said "this one looks perfect" I blush slightly and asked him to repeat himself "I SAID THIS ONE LOOOKS PERFECT IDIOT!!" I giggle and say "thanks kags" "tsk" I smile and go change back into my normal clothes I grab my phone and walk to the bathroom. I set it up on my sink, I grab my toothbrush and start to brush my teeth. There was random flashes out of no where and I look down to see Kageyama took some ft photos I giggle and cover my face, then he smiles a little. I finish brushing my teeth and put my hair up into a messy bun "I hate you Kags" "you know you love me" he smirks a little causing me to blush and butterflies to form in my stomach.
I brush off his comment and lay in my bed.

we talked for hours and realized it was now around 7 a.m and you guys hadn't slept at all. My alarm goes off and both of our eyes widen "what time is it l/n?" he asked me with a raspy deep voice I check my clock and nervously say "umm it's 7" his eyes widen again and he sits up from his bed "I have to get ready for school" he says "yeah me too, talk to you later kags" "bye l/n" he hangs up and I smile to myself. I really stayed up the whole night just to talk to him.

I walk to my bathroom and wash my face and let my hair down and decide to leave it as it is. you put some concealer and mascara on and walk back out and put on your uniform on.

you walk downstairs and your mom says "don't forget-" but you cut her off before she could finish her sentence "the shoot is on Saturday I know" all she does is nod her head and I grab a breakfast bar and walk out the door. I walk to kai and nai's house and decide to text Kageyama.

you smile at your screen and heard the door begin to open, kai comes out and sees you smiling at your phone. "is it Kageyama?" you look up and roll your eyes "where's nai?" "right here" nai says and she walks from behind kai. we all walk to school together.

time skip

~ 𝙛𝙧𝙞𝙙𝙖𝙮 𝙢𝙤𝙧𝒏𝙞𝙣𝙜 ~

you put on some black high waisted cargo pants and a plain gray cropped fitted shirt. you grab your aoba johsai team jacket and put it on. You layered some necklaces and put on some shoes. Lastly you grab your school bag and immediately left early for a volleyball team meeting.

you get to the gymnasium and see that only a few people are there along with coach. slowly more people started coming. once everyone was there coach gathered us and gave us a couple words.

"and no matter what you will do your best to win" I then add "you will not lose to those crows!" everyone cheered.

coach dismissed us and we went to class. I was walking out before I felt someone wrap their hand around me. I turned to the side and see oikawa. Iwaizumi then came from behind and slapped his hand "iwa-chan!!" he pouted . I giggled and said "thanks iwa" he blushed a little "oh I'm so sorry iwaizumi senpai" he got even more red and looked away "iwa is fine" I smiled and oikawa said "so did you think about the festival l/n" I nod my head "yeah I'll go but you guys are picking me up and dropping me off" the boys nod their head. "I'll see you guys later bye" I hug iwaizumi and flip oikawa off, he pouted and I smirked as I walked away.

oikawa wasn't that bad but I liked messing with him. I smiled as I walked to my first class of the day.

the bell rings as I walk in and I quickly sit at my seat by the window. "good morning students today you will be assigned a project and will be in working in pairs" everyone looks at each their best friend "I will be choosing partners" I was kind of relived since I didn't know anyone in this class besides kindaichi. The teacher calls everyone and assigns partners "l/n y/n and iwaizumi Ryuu" the boy called my name and waved, I awkwardly waved back. could he be related to iwa?

class ended and we were all dismissed. I grab my things and walk out "wait l/n!" i felt someone grab my arm so i turn around and see the cute boy I'm partnered with "oh hi" he smiled at me "we can work on the project at my house on Saturday" i bit my lip "I can't I have a shoot that day" he sighed "umm here" I write my number on a piece of paper

"text me and we can talk about it later okay?" he nods his head, before I left I had to ask. "umm are you related to iwaizumi hajime?" he quickly nods his head "yeah he's my half brother" that makes sense "alright see you!" I waved and walked away.

he looked a lot like iwa but less intense but just as nice. I'll ask my mom if I can go over to his house after the photoshoot.

time skip

we all board the bus to head to the gymnasium where the practice match will be held at. I look around and see oikawa wave at me and pat the seat next to him "if you want you can sit with me l/n" iwa says coming from behind me. I walk towards oikawa was sitting and see his face light up, I smirk at him and sit across from him "iwa hurry up then!" iwa smiles and walks over to us and sits beside me. oikawa was left dumbfounded. I internally laugh "my brother told me you guys were partnered up for a project" I nod my head "yeah I didn't know you had a brother until now" he smiles "yeah I don't talk much about him... but umm l/n I need to tell you something later at the festival" iwa blushes as he tells me "oh alright" the rest of the ride was silent. Iwaizumi ended up falling asleep, I looked over and oikawa was taking selfies. "Hey princess" I roll my eyes. my phone buzzed.

you look up from your phone and see oikawa staring at you, you get out of your seat and ran to him and started hitting him "delete that picture now oikawa" he laughs "never" you ended up on top of him "I like this position" he winked at you. my cheeks heated up and I quickly get off him. "oikawa?" you softly say "yeah?" he said looking directly at you "umm.. will you delete the picture if I take a selfie with you?" he smirked "deal" he pulled you closer, took his phone out and took the picture "imma make this my Lock Screen" the boy excitedly says. He then handed me the phone "delete the picture yourself" I look up at him and take the phone, I delete it then some picture pops up on the screen

your eyes widened and you blushed really hard "my eyes!" oikawa looked over at you and saw the photo and quickly grabbed his phone back. I cover my face in embarrassment. "umm sorry you had to see that l/n" I didn't say anything in response. He picked my head up, my face was still really red "umm I'm sorry oikawa, I didn't mean to" he laughs "it's okay l/n I know" I control my breathing and eventually my face goes back to normal "I'll see you oikawa" he waved goodbye and I sit back next to sleeping iwa.

I keep replaying that same photo in my head. fuck that was really traumatizing. I slowly fell asleep.

Time skip

"princess we're here" oikawa says "be quiet you'll wake her" I rub my eyes and slowly gain vision. I see oikawa in front of me and I blush immediately remembering earlier "oh hey l/n" iwa says I turn and say "hi" oikawa smirks at you "we just got here wake up" I stood up and we all walk out the bus together.

we head into the gymnasium and see that karasuno wasn't here yet so we warmed up

Kageyama's POV:

we walk into the gymnasium and hinata jumps in excitement. "hey dumbass get yourself together!" he wasn't even paying attention to me "L/N Y/NNN!!!" he started running to the other side of the court, when I realized who's name he called. I look over and see her.

she turns her head, her pretty h/c hair flows perfectly as she turns around to look at hinata. she looks way more beautiful in person. you blushed. She ran over to hinata as she yelled "SHOYOO!!" l/n embraced hinata in her arms. I don't know why but it kind of bothered me that he got to touch her like that. how do they even know each other.

Y/n POV:

you were talking to iwa about the festival and you hear a familiar voice yell your name "L/N Y/NNN!!!" you turned around and saw a orange headed boy running towards you. omg it's "SHOYOO!!" you said as you ran towards him. you embraced him in a big hug. After a few seconds you let go and he asks "what're you doing here l/n?" I show him my jacket "I'm the manager for seijoh" he jumps up "you know the great king?" I tilt my head in confusion "the great king?" he nods his head "oikawa" I laugh "he's not a king at all and yeah I know him" he laughs "Kageyama learned everything he knows from the great king" my eyes lit up "Kageyama?" He points at a tall raven head boy behind him. I felt myself blush as I seen him staring at us. "Come I'll introduce you" he grabs my hand and drags me to him. fuck I hope this isn't awkward. l/n y/n" the raven head looks over at me and examines my entire body "umm.. hey kags" I nervously say. Hinata looks over at me "kags? do you guys know each other?" I was about to say something before Kageyama started talking "she's my number neighbor" hinata makes a 'ohhh' face. "well I have to go back to my team see you guys around" I hug hinata and wave bye to the boys.

Kageyama POV:

"hey dumbass!" hinata glares at me "don't call me that Kageyama!!" I roll my eyes and finally ask "how do you know her, l/n?" hinata smiles "we went to yukigaoka together, she was on the girls volleyball team and she would teach me how to play occasionally and from there we become pretty close friends" I nod my head and look back over at her seeing she's talking to iwaizumi "she's gotten much prettier" hinata says and it catches me off guard. could he like l/n?

Y/n POV:

I walk back to my team "l/n how did you know ginger?" "we went to junior high together, we were pretty close friends" I smiled.

coach interrupted our conversation "have you guys seen oikawa?" we both shake our heads no. "I can go look for him if you want" I offered "no it's okay, just go fill up the water bottles and iwaizumi start stretching" we both nod our heads and were sent on our own separate ways.

Karasuno wins first set 25-13

you started getting anxious, wondering if karasuno was actually about to beat you guys "l/n!" I heard coach call me "go get oikawa we need him now!" I nod and run out the gym looking left and right for oikawa "looking for me princess?" I look ahead and see oikawa starting at me, I run up to him "Oikawa we need you now! hurry up lazykawa!!" I grab his hand "oi don't call me those names!" he whines and I rolled my eyes "whatever just hurry up"

we enter the gym and everyone had their eyes on us. Fan girls filling the room with their screams. I look over and see Kageyama looking at us. I dragged oikawa all the way to our coach "he's here" "thanks l/n" he says then looks at oikawa "how's ur knee?" he hold up an 'ok' sign with his hand "I'm perfect" coach nods "hurry and warm up then" my heart started racing. Although it was just a practice game I didn't want us to lose to karasuno. I started to play with my fingers. The referee blew the whistle and we switched out a player for oikawa. Oikawa walked over to the to the court, he was practically glowing. I smiled, I really hope he can win this for us.
The score was currently 24-21 with karasuno in the lead.

"OIKAWA YOU WIN THIS POINT FOR US!!" I yell and I grab his attention but not only his. He smiles at me and winks. I sat back down on the bench. I clutched my notepad as I watched him play with the ball in his hands. The whistle blew meaning it was time for oikawa to serve.

Oikawa serves the ball and aims it at some tall blonde dude with glasses, he failed to receive the ball and managed to gain us a point. I cheered really loud and so did coach and everyone else. Oikawa serves once again and targets the same guy and he couldn't receive it again "let's go oikawa!" I cheered. He smiles and goes to serve again but this time blondie was able to receive it. It's a chance ball! Oikawa sets the ball for kindaichi to spike but is blocked by hinata. Kageyama then sets the ball and in a flash hinata made it to the other side of the court and spikes it directly past Oikawa. The whistle blows. It's over. Karasuno beat us. I don't know if I should be upset or proud. Hinata finally made it, he's on a real team and he's improved so much. You run up to hinata and tackle him on the floor. "l/n?" he looks at you "you okay l/n?" I'm so proud of you sho" you laugh and help him up. He smiles "here's my number" you said while handing him a piece of paper that had your number on it. You stare at him and admire him "you changed a lot" you say while rubbing his head before waving goodbye.

you look over and see oikawa smiling very creepily "are you okay?" he laughs "carrot top has a lot of potential, it's going to be so nice beating him next time" you smile "we will not lose next time!"

"hey l/n!" you turn around and see Kageyama. Oikawa walks in front of you "Tobio-Chan what is it that you need with my l/n" Kageyama looks him up and down then looks back at me "I told you we'd win l/n" you smile "we'll beat you next time and the times after that, today we weren't at our best but we still put up a good fight." he looks back at Oikawa and says "l/n doesn't belong to you" oikawa chuckles. The tension in the air was something else. Iwaizumi slaps the back of oikawa's neck "stop it shittykawa" you giggle. "I'll text you later kagayema" you say and quickly give him a hug. He surprisingly smelled really nice considering he just played a game and is sweating. He hugged you back and patted your head. Oikawa pulled you off of him and dragged you away "she's mine tobio" he scoffs and walks away.

we walk away and oikawa says "sorry about that I'm just not a big fan of tobio" I nod my head "I know, he told me" "how do you know him anyways?" I sigh and told him the whole story on the way back to the bus.
