"Leave her alone!" You heard a familiar voice say. You open your eyes and see him. "who the hell are you?" the man got off me and faced Kageyama. Kageyama grabs him by the collar of his shirt and lifts him up "if I see you around her ever again I swear I'll kill you" the man chuckles "what's a little boy like you going to do-" Kageyama cut him off by throwing multiple punches at the man, he managed to tackle the guy the floor and starts beating him harder every time. "o- okay Kageyama I think t- that's enough" he gives him one last punch and gets off him. "men like you are trash" he says and spits on him. The man gets up and starts to run away. Coward.

Kageyama turns to see me "hey are you okay?" nobody's ever stood up for me like that. You run into his arms and he holds you in his arms as you cry. you were really scared, what if Kageyama wasn't there to save you. what would have happened if he continued?

you were trembling in fear, Kageyama ran his hand through your hair and he whispered in your ear "it's okay nobody will hurt you as long as I'm around, I promise" I pull away from the hug and look him in the eyes. He gives me a soft smile, he leans in to wipes my tears. You run your hands through his soft silky hair and giggle "I'm okay now" he sends me a worried look "are you sure?" I give him a genuine smile "yeah I'm good, I promise" he nods his head "alright come on" you tilt your head in confusion "I'm walking you home let's go" I catch up to him and we walked side by side.

"Kageyama?" you said in a soft voice "hm?" he said in response. "umm me and oikawa aren't together" he stops walking to look at me "he took my phone and saw our messages, so he sent that picture to you" he just looks at me "I didn't care anyways" he continues to walk. You smiled to yourself. He did care. It was kinda cute.

"congratulations on today's win by the way, you guys did deserve it. you played amazing" he smirks "i know" I roll my eyes

we make it to my house and I turn to face Kageyama "this is it" he nods his head and starts to walk away. I grab his hand "my mom doesn't come home until after 11, want to stay for a little?" he nods his head "sure"

I walk up to my house with Kageyama following behind me. I unlock the door and we walk in. We take off our shoes and place them by the door.

Kageyama sits on the couch and you run to the kitchen "what're you doing?" you look over at Kageyama "I'm making us food to thank you" he smiles at me.

Time skip

you made Kageyama a bowl of chicken udon noodles. "I didn't know you cooked" you smiled at him "I spend most of my time at my house so I learned how to do a lot of things" he continued to stuff his face and you couldn't help but think how cute he was.

he catches you staring at him "don't look at me like that!" he says as he started blushing. you giggle at his expression "I can't it's so adorable" he blushed even harder. you walk to your fridge "want anything to drink kags?" "milk is fine" you grab him the last carton of milk you had and grab yourself a juice box. you walk back to the table and hand him the milk "drink up" he reaches for the milk and your fingers touch each other. You felt an electrical feeling throughout your whole body. Your face turns red and you scratch your neck nervously.

you sip on your juice box "I'm going to go shower, you can wait in my room if you don't want to be here alone" he nods his head and you lead him upstairs.

he sits on your bed "I won't take too long" you say as you walk into the bathroom in your room. you close the door and undress yourself and take a hot steamy shower.

you finish your shower after 15 minutes and wrap the towel around your body. shit I forgot my clothes "Kageyama!" you yell for the boy. "yeah what happened?" you blushed uncontrollably "I forgot my clothes can you bring them to me? my outfit is set on my nightstand" after a couple seconds he responds "got it"

he knocks on the door and you slowly open it, he examines your figure but looks away immediately after. You giggle as he hands you your clothes "it's okay to look kags" he got even more red "pfft as if I wanted to" you smile as you close the bathroom door.

you walk out the bathroom and Kageyama looks at you. He blushed a little. You walk over to your vanity and layered some necklaces and just put on some crocs for now. You look over at Kageyama and see he was looking at your photo wall. You smiled and explained some of the photos "this was the first time we won a volleyball game.... and this is a picture of me and shoyo from practice"

you set your phone down and walk to your bathroom. You dry your hair and curl it. You walk back out and put on some shoes "iwaizumi and oikawa are on their way here" he nods his head and gets up "do you want to go with us?" he looks at me then says "my mom is expecting me home before dinner" I nod my head.

we walk downstairs and I open the door for him. "Tobio-chan?" you look out the door and see oikawa, iwaizumi, kindaichi, and kunimi standing by the door as if they were just about to knock. "Excuse me" Kageyama says before walking past them "bye Kageyama let me know when you get home" he smiles at you "bye l/n" and he walks off.

you look at the boys in front of you and say "hey guys" you turn around and lock the front door "umm l/n what was Kageyama doing at your house?" oikawa asks me "he had to help me with something" they all seemed a little curious because they knew you were lying but you couldn't tell them the actual reason.

"well let's go" you say and you all walk together. "you look beautiful l/n" iwaizumi says, I smile at him "thanks iwa" he blushes a little and looks away.

Time skip

you guys arrive at the festival and it's filled with a bunch of people.

there was a bunch of rides, like the Ferris wheel and more. "it looks so pretty!" you said in awe "just like you chibi chan" oikawa coos. I giggle "thanks for inviting me shittykawa" he smiles at you and you return the smile. "Guys let's go on the Ferris wheel!" Kindaichi says to you guys.

We're waiting in the line for the Ferris wheel. "l/n can we go on one by ourselves so I can talk to you?" iwaizumi asks me. I nod my head "okay" after a few minutes we all get on the Ferris wheel. Me and iwaizumi in one cart while oikawa and the others are in another.

You look at the view, it was beautiful. "l/n?" I turn to view iwaizumi in front of me "yeah what's up iwa?" he was staring at the ground while blushing really hard "umm I just wanted to say that..." you see he's nervous so you place your hand on top of his "you can tell me anything iwa" you said with a smile, he looks up at you "I- I like you l/n y/n!" your eyes widen and you take your hand back. iwaizumi likes me? I look out the window and think about his confession. The ride comes to a stop and we get off. You can feel the awkward tension. You guys met up with the rest of the guys without giving him an answer. "hey princess what's up?" Oikawa asks as he studies your face. Kunimi laughs "you guys look like you just shit yourselves" the rest of the group laughs while you and iwa just stand there.

"let's get snow cones!" You suggest and oikawa wraps his arm around your neck but this time iwa doesn't do anything about it. You and the group walk to the snow cone stand.

The rest of the night you were able to put iwaizumi's confession aside and actually enjoy yourself with the guys. you got closer to kindaichi and kunimi and oikawa was actually really nice. You were also able to exchange numbers with the guys.

You guys drop off kindaichi at his house and you wave goodbye at him.

Then you drop off kunimi at his home and he gives you guys fist bumps and he runs off inside his house.

Then it was just you, oikawa and iwaizumi. Iwaizumi decided to break the silence "I think imma just walk home alone from here guys" he says awkwardly "iwa-chan what happened why are you acting so weird?" oikawa says "it's nothing oikawa, just make sure to take l/n home safe" "you said you would walk y/n home with me iwa" iwaizumi looks at me with sad eyes "it's okay oikawa let him go" you say and oikawa nods his head " fine, see you on Monday iwaizumi" you say. He waved goodbye to the both of you "Bye iwa-chan"

Now it's just you and oikawa. "Do you know what happened to iwa y/n?" My eyes widen and the scene replays in my head.

you look at the ground and say "nope I don't know" he stares at you for a while "fine don't tell me but I will find out, one way or another" you scratch the back of your neck and don't say anything.

The rest of the walk was pretty quiet "hey l/n?" oikawa says in a innocent voice, you look up at him waiting for him to finish what he was about to say "do you want to hangout tomorrow... you know just the two of us?" your cheeks turned a bright pink "oh I can't I have a photoshoot tomorrow and I have to work on a project with Iwaizumi Ryuu" that's when it hit you, you're going to have to see iwa tomorrow. "thank you for coming with us tonight" you nod your head "I had fun" you walk up to your house "bye oikawa" you wave goodbye to him "goodbye beautiful" he says before you close the door.

you walk in and notice your mom isn't home yet so you just go upstairs and change into some shorts and a hoodie.
