"of course I came.. this game determines everything for you guys, I wouldn't miss it" I say

I was currently standing outside the gymnasium with karasuno.

in a few minutes they would be playing against Shiratorizawa.

Even though aoba johsai couldn't have been in karasuno's place I still want to support them.

"thank you... for coming" he suddenly hugs me "it's no.. problem " I say melting into his embrace.

"we should head inside" coach ukai said

"c'mon you love birds!" he shouted to us

we both blushed at the surprising comment but followed along behind the rest of the team.

we entered Sendai city gymnasium and saw how many people came to watch this game.

I look in front of me and saw hinata and I ran up behind him and jumped on his back.

"hi sho!"

he giggled "hey n/n" I got off his back "I'm so excited!" he continued talking about the upcoming volleyball match

"n/n!!! sho-chan!!"

startled by the sudden use of our nicknames we both turn around.

no way!!

"Izumi!!! Koji!!!" you both shout at the same time

"if you keep shouting like that even people in Tokyo will hear you" Kageyama said

"I can't believe you guys are here!! it feels like it's been forever!"

I tackle the both in a hug "get in here sho!" I say pulling hinata into the hug.

"I'll see you inside hinata... bye y/n" Kageyama said before taking his leave.

"okay that's enough get off me!" Koji whined

"I missed you too koji" I say as I ruffle his hair "stop it!" he blushed while swatting your hand away.

"we heard about Hinata's school on tv and decided to come and support" Izumi said

"I should go warm up with the team! thanks for coming guys" Hinata said while waving

"well i'm gonna go get a drink wanna come?" I ask the guys

"sure"

they follow along side me as we head to look for some vending machine.

"shit I forgot my money" i grunt

"here" a voice said from behind us

I turn around and my eyes met with a familiar looking guy with dark brown hair and light grey eyes.

He had a lip piercing and a black plain outfit.

"do I know you from somewhere?" I asked

"we're in the same class.. I'm yuuji nishida"

then it clicked he was the guy who always sat at the back of class on his phone most of the time.

"I remember now" I say with a smile

he holds his hand out offering the couple coins

I reach out to grab it and our hands gently brush each other's "thanks!"

he nods his head and tries to contain the blush on his face "yeah no problem.. see ya around" he says before walking away "yeah see you!" you responded.

"he likes you" Izumi pointed out

"no he doesn't! either way it doesn't matter" I say

"cause your dating sho right?" Koji asked

"huh?!" you said confused "no... he's dating my friend yachi and I like someone else"

"do tell" Izumi said

I insert some of the coins into the vending machine and press on 'A35'

the drink dropped down and inserted my hand in the opening to reach for it.

I pulled the drink out and put the straw in and took a small sip

"Kageyama tobio"

"WHAT?!??"

"you like that asshole?"

"he's not an asshole! he's actually really good to me" I said defending his name

"does he like you back?" Izumi asked

"well no I mean idk I mean we did go on a date and we kissed on New Years and we hug each other every now and then but we're not dating and I'm not sure if he actually likes me because he never straight up said it so it's kinda complicated" I managed to say in one breath

the two burst out laughing "it's not complicated at all, you're just making it complicated. You guys clearly like each other so just make it official already" Izumi said

"Exactly" Koji agreed

"I don't know..."

'make it official.. idk maybe'

"let's head to the gym now the game should be starting soon"

I nod my head and we all head into the gymnasium and get to our seats.

I've never seen these many people come out to support karusuno.

"We will now begin the Japanese National high school volleyball tournament against Miyagi prefectural karasuno high school and Shiratorizawa academy"

"We will now introduce the karasuno high school starting line up!"

"#1 sawamura daichi"

daichi came out and high fived kiyoko, coach ukai and Takeda sensei.

"#3 Azumane Asahi"

one by one as their name got called they would come out

"#5 Tanaka ryunosuke"

"#9 Kageyama tobio"

you saw Kageyama come out and felt really happy for him "tobio!!!!" as you cheered you made eye contact with him for a second it made your heart flutter when you saw that small smile on his face.

Koji and Izumi both teased you right after

"aww you cheering for your boyfriend?"

"shut up!"

"#10 hinata shoyo"

all three of you got up and cheered "sho-chan!!"

"#11 tsukishima kei"

"#4 libero, Nishinoya Yuu"

"next we will introduce the Shiratorizawa Academy starting lineup!"

{ imma skip to end of the match cuz yk yo girl lazy af }

they won. Karasuno beat Shiratorizawa.

"I'll be right back" I say to the two and  immediately leave right after.

I look for the neared exit and go down the stairs, I make it to the entrance off the gymnasium and see Kageyama wiping off his sweat with his shirt.

"tobio!!" I shout

we make eye contact and i run towards him with a smile plastered on my face

"you did it! you were so amazing!" I complimented the boy

"thanks" he said with a small smirk forming on his face

I suddenly go in to hug him "y/n I'm really sweaty.." I burry my head into his chest and manage to muffle out the words "I don't care"

he smiled to himself hearing those words

"I'm so proud of you tobio"

you waited in the gymnasium until the awards ceremony was over and departed from your friends but before you did you exchanged numbers with them.

Kageyama informed his coach and teammates that he was going to go home with you since it was getting dark out.

you guys just got off the train station and were about to go home when it suddenly started raining.

"shit"

"did you have an umbrella?" Kageyama asked in hopes of receiving a yes from you.

"no... I didn't think it would rain" his face dropped

"my house is the closest from here so we can run there and get cleaned up?" i offered

he nodded his head in response "that's probably our safest bet"

"here" he placed his jacket over my head "use it to keep yourself dry"

heat rose up to my cheeks "thanks.." he grabbed my hand "hold on to me okay?"

I nodded my head "okay"

he looked around first  then started running in a direction while pulling me behind him.

'this mf can run fast wth' I thought in my head

after a minute or two I started panting it was hard to keep up with this man.

we suddenly came to a stop and I bumped into his back

"sorry for running so fast.. are you okay?"

I slowly take the jacket off my head

"I'm fine"

I pull the jacket over the both of us so he wouldn't get any more wet than he already was

"make it official already" Izumi and Koji's words ran through my head.

'is now the right time though?'

'doesn't matter y/n just tell him how you feel!'

"tobio" I say while lifting my head up to make eye contact with him

his soft dark blue eyes glistened while looking into mine "yes?" he answered in his beautiful voice.

"I- I like really like you" I finally said

"you are such a dumbass" he replied in a harsh tone.

he dropped the jacket that I was holding over us and let the rain fall on us.

"w-what?" I asked with worry in my voice.
