After the whole photoshoot fiasco, you and Adrien got close together to consider one another as friends. So, he reminded you that his birthday was today and made a mental note to immediately congratulate him when you reached school.

Waking up, you got ready for school and shortly after you poked plagg's belly to wake him up. "Plagg, wake your ass up we have to go." You mumbled, as you put your things on your bag—including a ziploc bag filled of cheese.

He groaned, a glare forming in his features. "Just skip today." He suggested, his glare never wavering. "Can't. Adrien's birthday today." Groaning once again, plagg placed himself on your bag making you smile in content.

You head over to the kitchen, grabbing an apple to eat along the way to school. Your mother noticed, immediately walking over to you. "Is that all you're having?" She asked, brows furrowed slightly. You nod as you took a bite out of the apple. "Here, take this." She handed you a granola bar, giving you a side hug as she wished you a good day at school.

Near the entrance of the school, you noticed the two boys standing by and walked towards them.

"Hey, Adrien. Happy birthday." You congratulated, giving him a big hug after. You smiled at the boy next to him as you walked by him, "hey, what's up?" You gave him a fist bump and you noticed him blowing some bubbles.

"Y/n, don't you find it ridiculous that Adrien's father doesn't let him have a party?" Asking, he glances at you and continues blowing his bubbles angrily. Your eyes widen as you look at him, "really?" He nods and closes his eyes in frustration.

"He's just a downer, besides I've tried convincing him, he's just really stubborn." He said, coming to his father's defense. Nino wrapped his arm around his shoulder, "it's your birthday, dude. Insist!"

Your eyes slightly widened as you came up with an idea, "why-"

You were interrupted by the blunette that suddenly appeared in front of the three of you, making you forget what you were about to say. She laughed awkwardly as she met your gaze, red hues placed on her cheeks. "Hey!" She waved, her hands placed behind her back. You smiled softly as you waved back. She seemed to remember something as her eyes went wide.

She pulled the gift that was hidden behind her back, "I just wanted to give you this." As she spoke, she handed the blonde the gift. He took it, thanking her as a small yet awkward smile appeared on his face.

"Move outta the way!" Chloe suddenly appeared, pushing the blunette aside. Before she could hit the ground though, you ran over to her to prevent her fall.

You felt her tense from your hold on her waist making you feel worried. "Marinette, are you okay?" Asking, you saw her nod profusely—face flushed as she pulled herself away from you. Assuming she got embarrassed, you smile at her assuringly, "it's okay." It made her face impressively more red, eyes blown out wide as she stared at you.

"You're a muse..." she muttered adoringly, "I mean you're so cute! No, I mean you are cute...but ugh- y-you're amazing, thanks." She thanked(?), making you silent for a moment before you spoke up again, "no worries."

She immediately began walking back towards, or rather behind, the stairs meanwhile you walked back towards Adrien and Nino. Later though, you heard the limo in front of you honk, startling you. Adrien frowned as he looked ahead, "gotta go you guys."

Nino suddenly placed his hand on your shoulder as he spoke. "I'm planning on talking with Adrien's old man. Coming with?" Asking, he pushed down his cap confidently. "Uh, sure. Let's go." With that, you both walked towards the agreste mansion.

You both stood in front of the mansion for a moment and Nino rang the doorbell, standing there nervously. "Uh, hi." He waved at the camera that suddenly appeared.

After a while, the assistant opened the door and welcomed you both in. "He'll be here in a moment."

You stood there patiently, meanwhile Nino played around with his bottle of bubbles.

"Y/n l/n? Why are you here? Adrien's not home yet." The man asked, standing on the stairs confused of your sudden arrival.

Nino spoke before you could. "Um..we just wanted to see you, duuo-sir!"

"Me?" He questioned.

"Look I know you don't Adrien to have a party, but it's his birthday dude. I mean sir!" Nino begged, eyeing you for back up.

"No, that's final."

"Why can't he? He does well in almost everything." You questioned, making the older man turn to look at you.

Adrien suddenly showed up, grabbing both your and Nino's shoulders. "Nino, y/n, you're here?"

"Of course." You spoke, Nino agreeing with you. "Anything for my best bud." Nino brought up his shoulders up proudly, pointing hand guns at him.

"Anyway show some awesomeness, dude. I mean sir! Please." Nino pleaded, meanwhile you stood there and waited for him to agree.

His silence spoke volumes which Adrien took notice, a sorrow look placed upon his face. "Forget it, guys. It's fine." He mumbled, placing his hands on both your guys' shoulders again.

"Listen, young lady. I thought you stood on the same level as my son. You, along with the bad influence you brought, are forbidden to come here ever again. Leave now!" He shouted, eyeing you with disgust. What a bitch.

"Father! They were simply doing a cool thing for me!" Without turning back, the eldest agreste made way up the stairs, ignoring Adrien.

The assistant suddenly appeared in front of you three, "goodbye."

Nino scowled, turning to leave the mansion and you followed behind, unbothered by the whole situation. "Wait guys!" Adrien yelled after you both. "I'm sorry, father's stubborn. It's best to leave him be." You furrow your brows in disbelief, how can Adrien defend him so easily?

"You don't have to be his dog, Adrien. Fight back every once in a while." You remarked, suddenly upset at that than his father's harsh words. "Right, it's not fair." Nino added.

Nino walked away from you both, crossing his hands in annoyance as he walked down the stairs. You stood beside Adrien for a moment letting out a deep sigh. "Thanks anyways, y/n. You and Nino are good friends." You nod, a slight smile on your face and walked way to your house.

"Man is a jerk!" Plagg spat out, obviously hearing the way the eldest agreste was talking to you. You shrug as you sat on your bad. "It's okay, a man like him isn't worth getting upset about." You reasoned, as you scroll through your phone.

A bubble tapped against your room window, making you snap your attention to it. You heard plagg groan loudly, signaling you to transform already. Before you could though, you were met with the villain—plagg fortunately hidden before he could see him—standing proudly in front of you.

"Y/n, let's give our best bud a birthday he would never forget."

He grabbed you from your wrist, pulling you to carry you towards the agreste mansion. You let out a gasp when you see only adults carried inside the bubbles the villain obviously created. Parents specifically. Gabriel Agreste situation written all over it.

Once he landed on the ground near the agreste mansion, he let you go. "Go stand with the others, Adrien will be coming out soon." He commanded, leaving you with the others. Adrien showed up shortly after, eyes wide when he saw his friends out in the crowd.

"Here comes the birthday boy! Cheer up everyone!" Everyone cheered when they saw the blonde on top of the stairs, making him smile sheepishly.

You looked around, already seeing familiar faces. "Let's get this party started!" He shouted, forcing everyone to clap after.

"Hey y/n! This party is awesome right?" He laughed, doing a funny dance to the music. You looked at him and smiled at him, "erm, sure?" He continued doing his dance meanwhile you looked around, hoping that ladybug would show up and distract everybody enough so that you could transform yourself.

Chloe scooted over to you, the change of music catching your attention. "Why change the music?" You mumbled, eyeing the villain suspiciously. "Who cares? Let's dance." She pulled you, leading you to the dance floor.

She leaned against you, making you quite uncomfortable. You leaned back as she pouted her lips towards you. Ladybug, hurry your ass up! As if someone tried rescuing you from this horrid situation, the music changed making Chloe stand still and you were able to push yourself away.

"Someone hijacked my mix!"

"Hey Paris, how y'all doing?"

The familiar voice made you snap your head at ladybug's direction. Yes! "Sorry bubbler, hate to break this pathetic party!" The heroine remarked, a confident smirk placed on her soft features. "Why do you have to be like that?"

As they conversed, you sneakily walked away, walking to a nearby alley to safely transform.

"Already? But we were having fun." Plagg commented, his voice dripping with sarcasm. Sighing, you lifted up your fist. "Plagg, claws out."

Before the heroine's yo-yo could smack against her pretty face, you hit it with your staff, making it fly up in the air. "Looks like I made it right on time." You spoke, standing in front of her protectively. "Had it covered but thanks life saver." She thanked, only grabbing it after it bounced on your head.

As he growled, he lifted his weapon, releasing bubbles from it. You spun your staff around, preventing the bubbles from capturing you—and the heroine beside you. The bubbler scoffed, snipping his fingers.

The bubbles turn green as they all stuck onto you, forming into one big bubble trapping you and ladybug together. "Hand the miraculous, or suffer ruining out of air."

"Keep dreaming, bubbler." Ladybug refused.

It angered the bubbler as he shook his head in annoyance. "Total party poopers, don't know what fun is huh? Just like adults" He spat out, growing angrier by the minute.

"Kids need adults!" Ladybug reasoned.

"Don't be silly. Kids need freedom, fun, live life. Adults stop it, I've seen it with my two eyes!"

Your eyes softened, already knowing what he referred to. "They're controlling I know, but to hurt adults that did no wrong is not the way." You fought back.

"Is that so? Why don't you pity them when you're up with them!" He screamed out, running towards you both and kicked the bubble high up in the air.

After kicking it a few times the girl softly spoke beside you, "use your cataclysm."

You sighed before you nodded, using your cataclysm to burst the bubble. A few moments diving on the air, ladybug pointed on the Eiffel Tower, signaling you to throw your staff there. "Got it."

As she wrapped her yo-yo around your staff, she grabbed you by the wrist and held you so you both could land safely on the ground near the tower. "It's his bubble swords, that's where his akuma is." Explaining, ladybug tossed you your staff, your ring beeping shortly afterwards. "Alright, but we better hurry."

"Where the hell is everybody? Get out and party." He yelled, a frown on his face.

"Sorry to burst your bubble." Ladybug replied, her pun being corny enough to make you laugh lightly.

"Ladybug! Chatón Noire!" Alya shouted in awe, making everyone stand up. They continuously cheered both your names, making the bubbler scowl in anger.

"Seems like they don't want to party anymore, bubbler."

"Ugh, y'all are such haters. Whatever, they'll see me end you fools." He shouted, glaring at those behind him, trapping them in bubbles afterwards. You both gasped as you guys saw them get sent up the air. "They'll love outer space, wouldn't they?" The bubbler taunted, jumping out of buildings to escape but you both run after him.

As he shot bubbles at you, he climbed up to reach the top of the tower. When you landed on the top of the tower, he sent you both a bigger bubble than before. Your ring beeped once again, reminding you that you're close to de-transforming. "Hurry, bug. I don't have much time." You rushed her.

She nodded as she lifted her yo-yo up in the air, "lucky charm!" A wrench falling on her hands shortly after.

You inspect it for a moment before you stare back at her, "I'll cover, you just make sure to find a way to help us out." She smiled at you as she sent you a thumbs up.

The bubbler sent more bubbles at you which you avoided easily. "Don't play easy now!" You provoked him further, making him throw more at you.

You perk your eyes at the pipe that blew air out. "Chatón Noire! Cover me." Ladybug shouted.

You jumped towards the pipe, making it face the angry villain in front of you, his further attacks blown away. The bubbler growled as he lifted the sword, making ladybug have an advantage to grab it away and snap it in two.

"Get out of here you nasty bug! No more evil doing for you, little akuma. It's time to de-evilize." She captured the akuma on her yo-yo, releasing the butterfly within, making it pure again. You both watched as the mini ladybugs returned everything back to normal.

You both fist bumped, "pound it."

Tiredly, you made it to school, already seeing Chloe fighting with Sabrina, Nino halfway up the stairs and Marinette, along with Alya, downstairs—close by to where you stood so you decided to greet them. "Hey you guys." You called out to them. Alya greeted you as she waved at you, a warm smile on her face.

Marinette turned to face you, face flushed. "Y-Y/n!"

Your smile never stopped, even after Adrien showed up, thanking the blunette for her gift.

"Right, it's gorgeous, well done Marinette!" You complimented, unaware of the girl nearly fainting as you walked away with the blonde beside you.
