"I'm pleased with how you all did on your last assignment. Some of you have stepped up and I appreciate it. Now it's time for the next assignment."

You groaned as you peaked at the clock, trying to count the minutes before you guys could be dismissed. You didn't realize Alya had been observing the room with her cut out picture of ladybug until she placed it on your face. "What are you doing?" You whispered.

Before she could respond, the teacher spoke before her. "Is Marinette still in the girls room?" Asking, Ms. Bustier eyed the things that were placed on top of the desk. "Uh..I don't know, miss."

Once the bell rang you immediately packed your things and headed out the door, of course grabbing the assignment Ms. Bustier handed to you. You halted for a second and decided to wait for Alya, just to ask for the blunette—who seemed to be constipated or something.

Once she headed out the classroom, she immediately whipped out her phone and called Marinette; only for it to go immediately on voicemail. "Did she flee or some?" You asked and the brunette shook her head. "No, she ain't like that." She reasoned, already heading to the bathroom; you following behind. "Marinette?" She called out, hearing nothing after.

You guys walked around the hallways, hoping to at least know someone who saw Marinette near. "Girls, have you seen Marinette?" Asking, alya faced the two girls; juleka and rose. Only letting out a disappointed sigh when they shook their heads.

As you both entered the locker room, you saw Alya take a step back to hide behind the lockers, grabbing you along with her. She peaked her head out and looked at the blonde putting her stuff away in her locker. You heard her gasp, making you want to take a peak as well. "Chloe's ladybug?" She muttered, making you confused.

You couldn't blame her for reaching into a stupid conclusion, she doesn't know how transformations work but you couldn't help remembering that there were many situations that ladybug and Chloe were at the same place, so that idea already went down the drain.

Before you could dismiss her foolish comment, she ran out of the locker room—trying to follow Chloe.

You wanted to follow her but you felt your phone beep on your pocket, coming from an app you installed on your phone to alert you of an akuma. Taking the chance to escape, you head towards the villain's location.

The next day, you showed up in the locker room to put your stuff away, already seeing Nino and Alya on the corner of the lockers, making you curious about the whole thing. "Guys? What are y'all doing?" You asked, squinting your eyes at them suspiciously.

Nino had a smirk placed upon his face, elbowing you as he whispered to you. "Alya thinks Chloe's ladybug." Though you knew it wasn't true, hearing the girl you like be someone like her made you grimace.

"Good luck, I'm leaving." You didn't glance back at them, already heading to class.

You wave at your blonde friend as you entered the class already walking up to your desk. Nino showed up shortly after, Alya not seen beside him. You were going to question him but Marinette pushed through the door, minutes late to school, and sat on her usual seat. Your concern about Alya had shifted to concern on Marinette.

You sat beside her, sitting on Alya's assigned seat, taking the opportunity to talk to her. "Are you okay? Where have you been? Alya was worried shitless." You asked, concern placed on your features. You saw her flinch, slowly turning her head at you in shock. "Y-Yes! I'm good, good, okay! Perfectly normal!"

You laughed at her, "That's good."

She nodded rather quickly, and later tapped on Nino's shoulder to ask for Alya's whereabouts.

"She got suspended." Your jaw dropped meanwhile Marinette yelled out, startling you. "Marinette, if you're going to come late to my class at least do it discreetly."

"Sorry..."

She sat back down but soon tapped his shoulder again. "What happened to her?" She whispered. Nino whispered something to her ear, making her scream out again. "What?!"

"Marinette! Go to the principal's office, now!"

After a few minutes, the projector played a video, revealing a new villainess. "Lady Wifi, here. I'm here to tell the truth about our shitty principal." She placed her arm on top the man's shoulder. "So, Mr. Damocles, is it true that you suspended a student named Alya?"

"Yes, it is." He looked at his desk in guilt as he muttered.

"So you were biased? Unfair? Totally unjust?"she spat out.

"Yes I was."

"For my next scoop, I'll be taking you to meet the girl who's hiding behind that ladybug mask." Before the principal could stop her, she shot something from her phone that froze him. "Stay connected."

"Everyone, for you own safety, head home!" Yelling, she rushed you all to pack your bags and leave.

You were sure it was obvious that Alya was the one akumatized, though you didn't seem happy about it—not like you ever did get happy about your friends being akumatized but you felt like this certain situation seemed truly different. Why was Alya so obsessed with finding ladybug's identity? You knew that she was infatuated with heroes enough to understand that they need to keep their identity a secret to prevent disasters. So why is she so obsessed with this?

After you stayed behind a few moments to make sure everyone ran away, you head towards the girls bathroom to transform.

Plagg flew out of your bag, a camembert placed on his small hands. "All for ladybug? She may be more interested than you are." He commented.

You roll your eyes playfully, "Right. Plagg, claws out."

You jumped building after building until you reached to top of the building that was across the Le Grande Paris hotel. You grabbed your staff and used it to zoom closer on the hotel, seeing Chloe use her yo-yo to mimic the heroine you were infatuated with. You remained looking at her for a moment before letting out a small sigh.

"Don't tell me you thought she was me?" You jumped slightly at the sound of Ladybug's sudden voice. Letting out a breath you look over at her, smirking. "Obviously not bug, I know you better than that."

You stared at her side profile as she opened her yo-yo, admiring her for a moment before she spoke up again. "Besides, it's obvious she's just a die-hard fan." She added, a smile placed on her lips.

You both laughed as you saw Chloe getting herself trapped on her yo-yo. You stopped your laughter when you saw the sudden appearance of Lady Wifi. "Guess we better get going."

You both jumped out of the building, heading towards where you seen the villainess at. Once you both reached at the hotel's entrance, you guys kicked the door open, causing lady wifi to look at you both in shock.

Glancing between the frozen blonde and you guys; her eyes brows furrowed in confusion, eyes squinted as she bore her eyes at you guys. "Who are you?" She asked, to the girl beside you specifically. You and ladybug shared a look, confused on what to say. "But I thought you were ladybug!" She added, pointing to the frozen girl.

"Next time, double check your facts. You're not looking good for a news reporter." You remarked, making her look at you in frustration.

"You'll be sorry."

Lady Wifi did something with her phone, making Chloe get released from her spot. She immediately ran away, stumbling into a couch as she fell to the ground.

"Alya?" Ladybug called out.

"Alya? It's Lady WiFi, don't get that confused. Newsflash. Ladybug, let's find out who you're truly are."

Lady Wifi lifted her phone up shooting blasts at ladybug, and only targeting her. You stood there in confusion as you watched her effortlessly move through the room, avoiding every one of the villainess' attacks.

"Follow me." Ladybug commanded.

You both make a run for it, running away from Lady Wifi behind you as you made it through the staircase. "What's the plan, bug?" You asked while running down the staircase.

"She gets the power from her phone, so let's take her where there's no service." She explained, hurriedly running down the stairs with you. You hummed, "That's right, no service no power. Good thinking."

You continued running, unaware that ladybug stayed behind for a moment to see if the villainess followed behind. "We need to go lower!"

You guys both stood down the stairwell for a moment, waiting for her to show up. "Get ready." You nod as you got into a fighting position.

After you both noticed that she didn't come down, you guys share a look—signaling each other that you guys have to go back up. As you ran up you noticed that she locked every door, seems like she isn't ignorant as she made out to be.

Running up the stairs, you guys noticed the door that seemed to be the only one unlocked. "Get ready for an ambush on 1,..2,..3!"

You once again get into a fighting position, waiting for ladybug to kick the door open. You guys enter the empty room, the villainess no where to be seen. "Crazy ass ambush we got here." You said sarcastically.

You heard ladybug laugh quietly at your sarcasm, making your heart skip a beat. "Let's go silly." She ordered, a contagious smile rising from her face.

Once you walked further into the room, you noticed the many phones that were placed on each table. "What's up with all these phones?" You heard her ask.

"Maybe she wants to record us getting our ass beaten for memories." You replied, earning another laugh from the heroine. "Funny, but she won't be beating us tonight kitty."

Just a few moments after, one of the phones seemed to turn on, revealing Lady Wifi. She instantly blasted pauses(?) at you both, making you slightly confused as she used to only seem to target ladybug. When you felt that the coast was clear, you peaked over your shoulder towards where ladybug was at.

Her yo-yo was wrapped around the villainess' wrist, but before she could pull—lady wifi used the phones placed on the tables; ladybug's previous question being answered.

"Yes, I can." Smirking, she used her yo-yo to smash the phones; making lady wifi unable to move around.

Lady wifi had no choice to run away, ladybug following closely behind. You immediately ran afterwards towards them but got pushed back by the door that Lady Wifi locked herself and the heroine in. Damn.

Your ears perked up are your sudden thought, you grabbed your staff to find another way inside the kitchen. You zoomed in, finding out that the service elevator lead to the kitchen. "Right, whatever that is." You mumbled.

After a few seconds of silence from going down the elevator, you push yourself out. "Sorry to interfere."

They both turn to face you, one relieved and the other annoyed.

"Awh, kitty's here to save her lovebug." She spat out mockingly.

"I am not her lovebug!" She fought back, rather instantly.

Before you could say or do anything though, the villainess sent a blast at you, making you stumble behind the freezer; closing it shut. The impact of your fall made the ring fall of your finger, making your eyes widen in panic. "No..c'mon not now! Where are you?" Mumbling to yourself, you inspected the freezer, trying to find the ring. "Plagg, help a girl out!" Yelling, you bent down near the boxes; plagg following along and looking around them.

You heard banging on the door, making you snap your attention to it. "I'll get you out, Chatón Noire!"

"Take your time.."

Your sarcasm didn't seem confident enough as it was intended, your shivering worrying the heroine as she called out for her lucky charm. Thankfully you found your ring, transforming into your alter ego wasn't much help as your shivering never stops. The cold made you weak on your feet as you fell, fortunately the heroine opened the freezer just in time to catch you.

"You okay, kitty?" Asking, her earrings beeped making you pay attention to it.

"You used your lucky charm? We don't have much time then."

You saw a glimpse of the polka dotted theme microwave, the thing that helped you escape from the freezer. She nodded as she whispered on your ear; explaining her plan to you.

You nod as you grab the pan near you and cover the camera lady wifi was spying on you both on. Shortly after, you head back towards the elevator. "I'll go and break the wifi antenna."

"Good idea."

She clicked on the button, making you go down a level. Lady WiFi seemed to catch on as she used the elevator to meet you in the hallway, blasting at you. Avoiding all her attacks, you run towards the staircase to reach the top where the antenna is set. You called out your cataclysm, extending out your hand to press on it.

The pole became electric as lady WiFi stood on top of it. "Good idea, but I won't let you disconnect me so easily." She glared at you as she threw more attacks your way, fortunately you avoided them all and threw your staff as a sort of distraction to touch the pole.

Jumping towards her, you and her fought purely with your hands. She lifted her arm in the air away from you to prevent you from grabbing the phone, kicking you at your abdomen, pushing you away. You throw another punch and she twirled you around, sitting on top of you with a hand on your shoulder. Ladybug came to your rescue, wrapping her yo-yo on Lady Wifi's wrist; the one she held her phone with. Catching it mid-air, flawlessly you may say, she threw it on the floor—releasing the akuma within.

As she did her usual thing, and fixed everything with her miraculous ladybug. She walked towards you, a smile placed upon her face. "Pound it!"

You both ran different directions so you guys could de-transform. You noticed that she left the closet she went inside a bit open, and you weren't going to lie; you were hesitant but decided to respect her privacy. You shook your head, ignoring your desires and closed the door for her.

Letting out a sigh, you ran out towards an alley so that nobody noticed you around the same place ladybug and chatón noire were at.

"You did the right thing, kid."

You sent him a half smile, nodding your head in agreement. "Let's go home, plagg."

Heading home and lying on your bed, you could only stare at the ceiling. Just processing everything that happened today.

"You look pathetic right now." Plagg spoke, laying down next to you the way a real(?) cat would with their owner. You laughed lightly, he was rude in some way but you knew better; it was his way of communicating.

You remembered the heroine's words and the way she effortlessly looked good. You didn't know when it started, by you were always looking up to meet her. You didn't care if she liked you back, just being there with her was simply enough.
