Your hands were drenched in sweat all the way home.

"Girl, are you good?" Robin, who sat in the passenger's seat, studied you, a concerned look in her eyes. "Your hands keep slipping off the wheel. I thought you were a good driver."

"I'm fine..." you sighed, trying to casually wipe your hands on your pants, one at a time. "I'm just nervous."

"About what?" Renee asked from the backseat. She sat next to JJ, who was texting on her phone.

You opened your mouth, trying to figure out a way to explain that didn't sound entirely lame.

"She's worried that Changbin won't like the thing she bought him." JJ piped up, without looking up.

Well. That totally didn't sound lame as hell. You shot a glare at JJ in the rearview mirror, but of course, she didn't see.

"You don't think he's gonna like the little pumpkin keychain?" Robin glanced at the bag sitting in the cup holder next to you. "Why wouldn't he, it's really cute! Guys love gifts, even if they don't say it."

"I don't think he won't like it," you groaned. "I more just... want him to see how much I liked it. Okay that sounds lame too, I give up."

"I think it's sweet," Renee said helpfully. "If a guy got me a gift, I would probably pretend that I didn't like it, but inside, I would be screaming. Maybe Changbin will be like that."

"Yeah, but I don't want him to be like that!" you retorted. "I want him to see it and like it, and see that I thought of him. That's all, I guess."

"Plus, maybe you should stop running from Seungmin," JJ responded offhandedly, before turning off her phone. "You're being like Mya used to be. Now look at her, since she stopped running! Jeongin is obsessed with her. If you don't, he might give up."

Renee frowned. "Why would he do that? And why do you keep saying I'm running? I'm not!" But the look on her face said otherwise.

JJ shrugged. "I dunno, just a thought. You can do whatever you want. But Seungmin might get fed up."

You pulled into the driveway back at the cabin, right behind Alaska's car. The girls were already running towards their cabins to hide their costumes from the boys.

The four of you got out of your car, and made your way towards your cabins as well. Robin caught up to Alaska, and the two scurried inside, whispering to each other, most likely about something chaotic. Mya and Tessa had already gone inside together, and Riley called Renee over too.

Just as you were about to follow JJ inside, someone grabbed your hand.

"How was your shopping spree? I mean, shopping trip?"

When you turned around, you were met by Changbin's gorgeous brown eyes, and his perfect, slightly nervous smile. It was incredibly endearing, and you realized that once again, you had missed him. Your heart tentatively warmed at the thought. It was nice to miss someone.

"It was really nice!" You held up your photo booth pictures with a grin. "We may have gotten a little sidetracked, after we finished costume shopping."

He chuckled, shaking his head. "That sounds about right. Can I see them??"

You passed the handful of photo strips to him, and he went through every one, like they each had important information on them that he couldn't miss.

"I think this ones my favorite!" he babbled, holding up the one with you all wearing Sanrio hoods. "Are you a Cinnamoroll girl? I feel like that makes sense. Didn't you wear Cinnamoroll pajamas back in Jeju? Those were really cute. Ooh, but the animal headbands are really good too, I like the face you're making in the last picture. How can you be both funny and sexy at the same time??"

You laughed, cheeks warming, as you took his hand in yours and squeezed. He was a bit of a rambler, but you didn't mind. It was sweet, really.

"Why are you laughing at me?" he pouted, all remnants of the suave, cocky guy you'd seen last night, gone. "Did I do something funny? Did I miss it? Dang it!"

You giggled harder, shaking your head. "You're just so noisy, what's gotten into you?"

He shrugged, shooting you a sheepish smile. "I've been told I'm just noisy, all the time. But what else did you do? Did you buy your whole costume?"

You nodded. "But you can't see! Us girls have decided to keep it a secret from you until the party."

"Dang, I wanted the exclusive tea!" Changbin sighed, but acquiesced. "Speaking of the party, I'm really excited. I bet you and Robin have done a great job planning."

You smiled, trying to stay humble. You had to admit, planning was one of your strengths. "It's been really fun, and it has been kind of nice having someone else helping out," you agreed. "Even though Robin can be a bit impulsive, at the end of the day, she's really good. She has the influencer eye. Everything is gonna be trendy as hell."

He chuckled. "Well, I bet it's gonna be awesome."

"Oh, by the way," you blushed, trying not to get nervous, like you were in the car. The girls were right, he would like it no matter what. Plus, clearly, he wasn't shy to show you when he was excited about something. "While we were out, I got you something."

Changbin's eyes lit up with interest. "Yeah? Can I see? Or is that a surprise too?"

You shook your head, a smug look crossing your face. "It was a surprise, but it's not now! I want you to open it. Here." You passed the small paper bag to him, heart thudding in your chest at an unnatural pace. No matter how often your friends told you to be chill, you couldn't help getting nervous anyway.

Changbin ripped the tissue paper off the top, throwing it on the ground. You watched it fly away, right towards Felix and Chan, who had Berry and Bingsu. Alaska had apparently fallen in love with that dog, and was forcing Felix to keep an eye on him.

Bingsu caught the tissue paper in his mouth, chewing it up and spitting it out in Felix's hand, a proud look on his adorable fluffy face.

You laughed at the sight, before turning back to Changbin, who was pulling the keychain out of the bag, a look of wonder on his face.

"Is this... a pumpkin?" he asked curiously, smiling at you. You could tell he was a bit confused, but you prayed he would get it.

Suddenly, understanding dawned, and he broke out into a huge, dorky grin. "Is this because of our time carving pumpkins?" His cheeks flushed with pleasure as he stared down at it. "It definitely is! Right?"

All you could do was blush and nod, a warm sensation bubbling up in your stomach as he put together the pieces.

"Oh my gosh, I love it! I'm gonna put it on my keys! Or no, maybe I'll put it in my car? Maybe my room when I get home!" He couldn't take his eyes off the adorable trinket as he rolled it around in his hands, feeling the soft texture.

"But... you really like it?" You managed to ask, nervous that he was just saying that to make you feel better.

He frowned at you, placing the keychain in his pocket, and snatching you up around the waist, and bringing you close to him. He gazed into your eyes with such ferocity, you thought he might be upset. "Why the hell would I lie to you about something like that, huh Hua?" he demanded. "This might be the most meaningful thing anyone's ever gotten me. Like I said, I love it. Thank you."

You bit your bottom lip to stop yourself from grinning like an idiot. "I just- well, I missed you while we were out, and when I saw that, it made me think of you. So I knew I had to buy it."

He reached up, running a hand through your hair, a playful smile on his lips. "You missed me, Hua?"

You rolled your eyes, but nodded sincerely. "Yeah, is there something wrong with that?" you mumbled, averting your eyes from his probing gaze.

"Uh uh, you're not doing any of that," he tsked, his rough hand pressed against your cheek to stop you from turning your head.

When you finally met his gaze, he surprised you by pressing his lips to yours in a deep kiss that stole your breath and nearly knocked you over. He tasted so good, so familiar now, and his mouth felt like it belonged there, slotted against yours.

You leaned in deeper, his strong arms supporting you as you threatened to tip over. One hand still against your cheek, the other traveled to your hip and held tightly, as his teeth played with your bottom lip.

"Stop teasing me," you muttered under your breath, just loud enough for him to hear.

He smirked against your mouth, before pressing one more hard kiss to your swollen lips. "I would never do such a thing, Gorgeous."

You slid out of his arms, face warm from all the sudden passion. "I didn't think you'd like the keychain that much," you teased, trying to hide your genuine pleasure at his reaction to the small gesture.

"I like anything you do for me," he snatched you up in his arms once more, and held you tight against his chest.

You stood it there in his embrace for a few seconds, breathing in his warm, spicy scent. Just being around him was so comforting. Your chest felt simultaneously tight from the constant excitement of being near him, and loose, because of the joy he gave you. He really took all your anxiety and threw it out the window, didn't he?

"Hua, be my girlfriend," Changbin mumbled against your neck.

You released him, eyes wide. "Say that again??" you demanded, heart suddenly thudding wildly. Had you heard him right? Was he just messing with you??

Changbin gazed at you steadily, cheeks now lightly flushed. "I-I said, be my girlfriend!" he said again, trying to appear cool and confident.

"Are you serious??" you asked, biting your lip to stop from smiling too soon.

"Hell yeah I'm serious!" he declared, reaching out and squeezing your hand. "If you say yes, that is. If not, just pretend I uh... said something else really smooth."

You leaned in, pressing your lips to his, this time in a gentle kiss. "What kind of silly question is that?" you teased. "Of course I say yes! Of course I want to be in a relationship with you."

He reciprocated the kiss for a few moments, and you savored it like sweet candy. Everything about the way he made you feel was precious, something to hold close to your heart.

"You might have made mistake," he finally joked, and you shook your head furiously.

"I don't make mistakes!" you teased back, winking at him.

"Hey Lovebirds!" Robin came jogging over to you, unaware of what had just transpired. She had left her shopping bags in the cabin, and changed into a new outfit. She now wore a much comfier dark blue hoodie and gray sweatpants, with blue sneakers to match.

"Hey Robin, what's up?" You gracefully stepped away from Changbin, but allowed him to keep hold of your hand. You couldn't deny that you craved his touch.

"So... about the Halloween party..." Robin cut a look at Changbin, then back at you. "I just finished contacting everyone on the guest list! It was kind of long, and not everyone was able to make it, but I thought it would be fun to invite as many people as I could, and some other people in the area. Is that okay?"

"I'll see you later, Gorgeous." Changbin smiled knowingly at you, squeezing your hand briefly. "See ya later, Robin."

After the two of you said bye to your boyfriend - that was going to take some getting used to - you turned back to Robin.

"Yeah, I don't see why not. The more the merrier, right?"

"Well, about that..." Robin laughed nervously. "I may have added a couple more people to the list, and didn't run it by you, like you asked. You also might not want Changbin to know."

You sighed, shaking your head. "Why would you do that, Robin?" you asked, trying to keep the exasperation out of your voice. This was a joint effort, after all. You didn't need all the control, right?

"Erm, well, maybe because I wanted to invite some people who you wouldn't have allowed, if I'd asked?"

Oh boy. Your brain instantly began running through a list of people you might not want to see. Most of them, Robin had never heard of, let alone knew. So, who could it be?

"Okay, just tell me," you said, hoping to get it over with.

"I wanted to invite the animal shelter that sent all the dogs! You know, as a thank you!" Robin began, shifting from foot to foot. "But I couldn't just not invite some of them, so-"

"Namjoon's coming," you sighed, realization washing over you.

Robin's shuffling feet was all but confirmation.

"Thank you Robs," you said finally, managing a smile in response to her anxious expression. "It'll be totally okay, thank you for doing all this. Besides, it's probably a good thing to say thank you."

"Y-yeah! My thought exactly!" Robin declared, trying to sound confident. "Thanks, Hua!" And she raced away.

Uh oh, you thought, as you watched your friend's retreating back. Halloween was sure to go just swimmingly.
