Y/n's POV

"You two gotta wake up breakfast is about ready." Someone said shaking me and Adam. I opened my eyes to see Mrs. Dennis.

"Ok...we'll be down soon." I mumbled. Adam still wasn't awake, he's a very heavy sleeper. Mrs. Dennis nodded and walked out of the room. I looked at how me and Adam were laying, looks like at some point I turned over cause I was snuggled up against his front with his arms around me. I began to play with his hair trying to wake him up. It wasn't working one bit. I poked his stomach in hopes it would wake him up. It still didn't work. I couldn't do much more, at least in the spot I was so I began trying to move out of his grip. I barely moved a few inches when he pulled me back towards him.

"Don't leave." He mumbled.

"We gotta go down there for breakfast." I said.

"No we don't." He said still not opening his eyes.

"Yes we do, it's about ready. Can't lay up here all day." I said smiling.

"Why can't we?" He asked.

"Cause you gotta at least get out of bed." I said.

"What if I'm not hungry." He said finally opening his eyes.

"You still gotta be nice and eat whatever it is they made." I said.

"What do I get if I do?" He asked.

"I don't know." I said.

"Well I gotta get something." He said.

"You can get to come over more if you don't stay in the room." I said.

"I was thinking more along the lines of a kiss." He said smiling.

"You gotta earn that buddy." I said.

"Ouch." He said. I smiled at his childishness. I pecked his lips making him smile.

"Are you two coming down here or not?" Georgia asked walking in the room.

"Yeah we were about to get up." I said. Georgia walked out and Adam finally released his grip around me. I stood up out of bed as Adam did. He was still in his wife-beater and shorts. That's a style choice. We walked down the stairs and into the kitchen to see them getting their food. I grabbed a plate and put some pancakes on it. I sat down and waited for Adam to sit beside me. We all ate in a comfortable silence. Sooner or later it was time for Mr. and Mrs. Dennis to go to work. Georgia was staying home for like half the day but at 12 was going to go shopping. At around 9 I got in the shower first since Adam decided he was just gonna stay til later today. Eventually Adam came out of the shower and joined me in my room.

"You know you took about 90% of the hot water. And now I smell like you cause I forgot to grab my soap." Adam complained.

"Oh poor baby so mistreated." I said. He rolled his eyes and went over to the mirror. He parted his hair down the middle, all I can say is hot. He was eventually done with that and laid down on the bed with me.

"So what are we gonna do today?" He asked.

"Well I could finish reading the outsiders to you...." I said. He looked at me for a second when a little smile formed on his face.

"Sure, how much chapters do we have left?" Adam asked.

"Like 3." I said getting up.

"So were about done with it." Adam stated.

"I would assume." I said. I grabbed the book from my shelf and laid down rested my head on Adams stomach. I opened the book up and began reading....

"I'm not crying.' I said. Maybe I was. I don't remember. Soda gave me a playful punch on the shoulder.
'No more fights. Okay Ponyboy?" Darry said.
'Okay.' I said. And I meant it. Darry and I would probably still have misunderstandingsโ€”we were too different not tooโ€”but no more fights. We couldn't do anything to hurt Soda. Sodapop would always be the middleman, but that didn't mean he had to keep getting pulled apart. Instead of Darry and me pulling me apart, he'd be pulling us together." I read. I closed the book and looked up at Adam. He stopped playing with my hair as he looked down at me.

"Is that the end?" He asked.

"Yup." I said.

"That was actually pretty good." He said.

"Told you." I said.

"What now?" Adam asked.

"I dunno it's your turn to decide." I said. He looked at the ceiling in thought, so I copied him. I was only like that for a moment when the door opened. I looked to the door to see Georgia.

"I'm heading out." Georgia said.

"Ok, bye." I said.

"Bye." She said walking out. I went back to looking at the ceiling with Adam.

"I can't think of anything." He said.

"Me either, wanna just watch TV?" I asked. He shrugged as a yes meaning I had to get up to turn on my TV. I slowly walked over and grabbed the remote.

"You're kinda slow." Adam said.

"I can be slower." I said. He playfully rolled his eyes and I continued back towards the bed. I dramatically flopped onto the bed making Adam bounce some too.

"You got to pick what we watched last time." Adam said as I turned on the TV.

"Yeah but you suck at picking what to watch." I said.

"Oh c'mon." Adam complained. I reluctantly handed him the remote and watched as he clicked through the channels.

"No." I said as he stopped on fresh prince of bel-air.

"Why?" Adam asked.

"Cause unless you want me to stop on Ferris Buellers day off next time I see it, were not watching this." I said.

"How do you still watch Ferris Buellers day off as much as you do and not get bored of it?" Adam asked.

"It's amazing, and Ferris himself helps." I said.

"If I pointed out every hot girl I seen on TV like you do every guy, you'd be mad at me." Adam said.

"No I'd probably agree or say you had bad taste." I said.

"Alright lets see then... Ferris' girlfriend." Adam said.

"Yeah she's good looking." I said.

"The outsiders girl...uh... Cherry." Adam said.

"Yup, Diane is absolutely gorgeous." I agreed.

"Alright I got one, Brooke shields." Adam said.

"Shes beautiful." I said.

"Why doesn't it bother you that I think some of those girls are attractive?" Adam asked.

"Because I trust you. You wouldn't just walk off and leave me for those girls. And besides all of those girls are big shots out in Hollywood, it's like they're just gonna show up in Minnesota and take you from me." I said. He looked at me in almost debate for a second.

"I never even thought about that. I guess you're right." He said.

"Just stating the obvious man." I said smiling. He rolled his eyes and went back to flipping through channels. He stopped on one that I recognized pretty quickly, the Drew Carrey show. I snuggled up to Adams side and he wrapped his arm around me. I smiled a little, I still don't know how I managed to call the one and only Adam Banks mine. We watched the show for a while comfortably. I was almost asleep until Adam spoke up.

"I'm kinda hungry." He said.

"Then go get something to eat." I mumbled.

"I don't know what I can and can't eat out of the kitchen." He said.

"Just grab something and wala lunch." I said.

"But what if I took something that was Mr. Dennis', he would kill me. Just help me pick something." He said.

"No he wouldn't." I said.

"Y/n please." Adam said pathetically.

"Fine, but you owe me." I said raising off him.

"How will I ever repay you." Adam dramatically said.

"Let me decide." I said walking out.

"Wait I wasn't being serious." He said catching up to me.

"Oh but I was." I said. He let out a sigh as we walked down the stairs. As we got in the kitchen he began looking around. He grabbed something turning around to show me for approval. It was just pizza so I nodded yes. I wasn't very hungry at the moment so I just grabbed a granola bar. I watched as Adam tried figuring out the microwave. He eventually got it down.

"Hey Adam I'm gonna check the mail." I said getting up.

"Ok." He responded watching the microwave. I walked through the house and went to the front door. I just reached my hand out the door and grabbed the stuff out of the mailbox. I closed the door and went through the mail.

"Gloria Dennis..., junk mail...., John Dennis, junk mail..., junk mail....
Y/n Y/l/n?" I said to myself. I walked into the kitchen with Adam and put the stuff that wasn't mine on the table. I sat down and looked at my letter. What's Eden Hall?

I examined the envelope scared to open it.

"What's that?" Adam asked.

"Something from... Eden Hall." I said still looking at it.

"That's a fancy private school in Minneapolis, why are they contacting you?" Adam asked confused as me.

"I dunno." I said.

"Are you gonna open it?" He asked expectantly.

"I dunno." I responded.

"Just open it up, like ripping a bandage." Adam said. I looked at him uncertain for a moment. I went back to the envelope and began to open it. I slipped out the letter and began reading it. With every sentence I looked at it in disbelief. I just got the offer for a scholarship at Eden Hall, for hockey!

"Adam go check your mail." I said. He looked confused but got up. He went out the door and came back a few moments later holding a envelope that looked exactly like mine.

"What this all about?" He asked about the letter.

"Read it." I said. Still confused he opened the letter and began reading, his expression changing as he went down.

"Does yours say this?" He asked. I handed him mine and he gave me his. I read his and it said all the same things except it was for Adam. We looked at each other excited for a moment.

"I gotta call Connie and see if she got the same thing." I said. He nodded as I got up and went to the phone. I dialed her number quickly.

"Hello?" She asked.

"Connie it's y/n." I said.

"I was about to call you. Did you get the Eden hall letter?" She asked quickly.

"Yeah, I called to make sure this was real." I said.

"Same, Guy said he just got his too. Are you gonna go?" She asked.

"I mean I don't know I'll have to see later tonight." I said.

"Call me when you get an answer please." She said.

"Ok I will, bye Con." I said.

"Bye." She said. I hung up and went back to Adam.

"Connie and Guy got one too, I'mma say the whole team has one." I said.

"That's awesome, are you gonna go?" He asked.

"I mean most likely, are you?" I asked.

"I don't see why not." He said.

"This is crazy." I said.

"Yeah, Eden halls like one of the best schools in Minnesota, and they're just giving us scholarships to their school." Adam said.

"I hope everyone on the team will be able to go. It'll be a little weird if we don't have everyone." I said.

"Yeah but I bet most will be there, we'll actually get to play hockey at a fancy school together." Adam said.

"I hope if we have to stay in dorms I get like Julie or Connie." I said.

"I bet you get stuck with some stuck up spoiled brat." Adam said smirking.

"Adam they can't put us in the same dorm together." I said jokingly earning a eye roll from Adam.

"I think I've heard of Eden hall before, not like from going to Minneapolis or anything like that, I just think I've heard someone talk about, except I can't remember who." I said.

"I can't help there. I bet my dad will say yes, I don't get why he wouldn't say yes." Adam said.

"Yeah Mr. and Mrs. Dennis will probably say yes, they always want me to take opportunities." I said. Adam nodded in agreement.

"I would say we could go visit Charlie but I bet he's at Hans and hasn't seen anything yet." Adam said. I just nodded in agreement. We were both just lost in thought about what just happened. Adam ate his pizza absentmindedly. I was only snapped out of it when something ran into the back door.

"What the heck was that?" I asked confused. I got up and walked over to the door. I looked out the window and realized it was just Merlin. I opened the door and he shot in and went straight to Adam to say hello.

"I guess I'm just a roach to him now." I said walking back to the two blondes.

"Aw is y/n jealous." Adam teased.

"No, why would I be jealous that my dog wants to see you over me." I said. Adam looked at me knowingly and just smiled to himself. Eventually Merlin got bored of him and ran off to God knows where. I got up and started towards the living room.

"Where are you going?" Adam asked.

"Living room." I replied. I went to the couch and halfway laid down. It only took Adam about a second to join me in the living room. He sat down across from on the couch. I scrolled through the channels and just stopped on some random movie.

"What's this?" He asked.

"No idea." I responded. I watched whatever it was for a while when I moved down by Adam. I laid my head on his lap and just kinda laid down. Adam rested his arm on my side. Everything feels so perfect when I'm with him. I could just chill with him all day. It didn't take very long for me to get tired. Sooner than later my eyes began to close....

I was woke up by the front door slamming. I looked to see Georgia with a few bags worth of stuff.

"Sorry." She said. I looked up to Adam to see him looking like he just woke up too.

"What time is it?" He asked with his raspy voice.

"Uh.... 3:46." I said.

"Dang, my dad's gonna be home in like an hour." Adam said. I raised off his leg and sat up against the back of the couch. We just sat there in silence for a moment trying to wake up.

"Wanna just chill in my room for a little bit?" I asked.

"Yeah." Adam said. We got up and made our way up the stairs. I flopped onto my bed while Adam laid down peacefully. The TV was still on the Drew Carrey show somehow. I was snuggled up against Adams side while we watched TV. The silence was comfortable, we talked occasionally but not much. Before I knew it it had been roughly an hour. Mrs. Dennis was home so that meant that Mr. Banks would be home sometime soon. Mr. Dennis isn't home til about 6.

"I better head home so I can ask Dad about the whole Eden Hall deal." Adam said.

"You could just stay here and just ask tomorrow." I said.

"I would, but I'd rather get an answer from him. And besides it's not like I won't be back tomorrow." Adam said. I moved off of Adam's side and got up with him. He packed up the small amount of things he brought over here in his bag. He began towards the door so I followed. Adam stopped right before we walked out and turned to me. He cupped my cheek with his hand and brought me into a kiss. Man he was good at kissing. The world around us disappeared as the kiss deepened. Butterflies set in even more as he put his other hand around my waist. I don't know how long it was, but we eventually pulled apart. Adam had a cocky smile on, like always. He grabbed my hand and pulled me out of my room. We walked down the stairs him still holding my hand. He looked in the kitchen and spotted Mrs. Dennis.

"Hey Mrs. Dennis, thank you for letting me stay over at your house last night. I gotta go home now and actually eat with my dad." Adam said smiling. He eats dinner with us a lot, so it wasn't very foreign at all.

"It was nice having you over Adam, you're welcomed over anytime you want." She said walking over to give him a hug. She gave him a sweet hug and Adam smiled as a goodbye. We walked into the living room and to the door. I just went out with him cause I don't like kissing him infront of Georgia. She always wolf whistles or something like that to embarrass me.

"I'll be back tomorrow, hopefully with an answer about Eden hall." Adam said. He gave me a quick but passionate kiss.

"Bye Banks, love you." I said.

"Love you too." He said. He began walking towards his house and I just watched for a moment. I decided not to be much more of stalker and went inside. I looked to see Georgia trying to get away from the window.

"Were you really spying?" I asked.

"No, just bird watching." She said. I just laughed a little and walked to the kitchen. I grabbed the envelope from Eden Hall off the top of the fridge and went to Mrs. Dennis who was cooking.

"So you're not gonna believe what I got in the mail today......

We discussed Eden Hall over dinner. They decided on yes. Since it wasn't too far to begin with, and it was a great opportunity they were ok with it. I can't wait to tell Adam, but first I gotta call Connie. I gathered everyone's dishes and put them in the sink. I quickly packed up the food and went to the phone. I dialed the Moreau number.

"Hello?" Connie's mom answered.

"Hey Mrs. Moreau it Y/n, can I talk to Connie?" I asked. I love Mrs. Moreau she was so awesome. I'd stay at Connie house every once in a while and her mom treats you like another daughter it's amazing.

"Oh hey y/n haven't heard from you in a while, but yes I'll get Connie real quick." She said sweetly. I heard the phone get put down and waited a few seconds. There was some noise when Connie spoke.

"Did you ask them?" She asked.

"Yup, and they said yes!" I said excitedly.

"Perfect! My parents said yes too!" Connie said just as excited as me.

"This is great, do you know about anyone else yet?" I asked.

"I know Guy, Averman, and Charlie's said yes. I haven't heard from anyone else but I bet most are gonna be there." Connie said.

"I can't believe it's real." I said.

"Me either, listen y/n I would talk all night but I gotta help clean up with dinner. I don't feel like keeping mom waiting." Connie said.

"Alright bye Connie." I said.

"Bye." She responded. I went back to the kitchen and got the dishes done. Before I knew it 10 o'clock came around I headed up bed. Today's been interesting. I'm gonna go to Eden hall. All I can hope for is that Adams going too. I really wish I could remember why Eden hall was familiar, I just can't place it....
