Y/n's POV
"Wake up honey." Some said shaking me. I opened my eyes to see Mrs. Dennis. "I gotta go to work, just wanted to say bye."
"Oh... bye, have a good day." I mumbled.
"You two sweetie, were gonna go out for dinner tonight at that new restaurant." Mrs. Dennis said raising up.
"That should be interesting." I said still half asleep. She laughed a little and walked out of the room. I rolled over and looked to my clock. 9:32. I managed to sleep through my alarm. Oh well. I threw off my blanket and walked slowly down the stairs. I seen Georgia in the living room and I just did a head nod as a hey. I sat down for a moment thinking, if that's what you call it. I was there at least 5 minutes just sitting. I needed to eat something cause I know Adam probably wanted to go see Charlie, and Adam never stops for food. I really hope his dad said yes to Eden hall. I finally decided to get up and eat something, I just got lucky charms. Once I was done with that I decided to get ready. Just something comfy and getting ready stuff. I walked back downstairs and sat down on the couch with Georgia.
"Surprised you're not with Banks." She said.
"I'm about to, I was just gonna chill with you for a second." I said.
"You're being nice for once?" She asked jokingly.
"Yeah it's pretty tiring actually." I responded. She laughed a little and went back towards the tv.
"Wait I gotta question." She said.
"What?" I asked.
"What's the new restaurant we're going to?" She asked.
"I don't know, I was gonna ask you." I said.
"Hmh. Guess we'll find out." She said.
"Guess so." I responded. I went back to watching the tv with her. I sat there for roughly 20 minutes when I got up.
"I'm gonna go to Adams." I said.
"Alright, be safe." She said.
"I will." I responded. I opened the door and began across the street. I opened the banks door and quietly closed it behind me.
"Adammmm!" I rang out.
"In my room!" Adam yelled back. I began towards his room which required going through the living room. Of course Colin was sitting there.
"Why don't you knock, it isn't your house ya know?" Colin sneered.
"Knock? I've never heard of that before." I said walking to the stairs. I could here his loud and dramatic scoff. I honestly live for annoying him. I quickly found Adams room and seen him laid out on his bed just looking at the ceiling.
"Whatcha staring at Einstein?" I asked.
"Nothing in particular." He said. I went over and laid beside him.
"So what did they say about Eden hall?" Adam asked.
"Said yes. You?" I asked.
"He said yes." Adam said looking to me smiling.
"Awesome, Connie, Guy, and I think Avermans have all said yes so far." I said. Adam nodded in acknowledgment and looked back at the ceiling. I looked to where he was looking and there was still nothing. Guess he's thinking or weird. Or both.
"Did you have anything in mind for today?" I asked.
"Um... well we could go see Charlie, and just skate around town." Adam said.
"I'm down." I said. He nodded and got up slowly. I followed him downstairs having to pass Colin again, luckily he didn't pay attention to us. Outside we put on our skates, I just leave mine in Adams garage since that's really the only time I use them. It didn't take long and we were off to find Charlie.....
We arrived at Hans to see Charlie at the counter.
"Hey Conway." I said as we walked in.
"Oh hey guys." Charlie said smiling to us. We walked in and went to the desk to join Charlie.
"You guys got the letter right?" Charlie asked like it was secret information.
"Yeah we did, are you gonna go?" Adam asked.
"Yup, mom almost didn't let me though." Charlie said.
"Sweet, so far a lot on the team is gonna be there." I said smiling.
"Except Jesse, he told me last night. Parents didn't want him to or something. Feel horrible that he can't go." Charlie said.
"What? Jesse isn't gonna be there? Who's gonna talk back for us now?" I asked. Jesse was awesome, I can't believe he won't be there.
"I guess Russ, if he's going." Charlie said. I looked at Adams face to see him looking a little sad about Jesse, those two were pretty much best friends. Not as good as him and Charlie, but close.
"Well anyways, what have you two been up to lately?" Charlie asked looking between me and Adam.
"Not much, just been laying around."
Adam said shrugging.
"That's all?" Charlie asked.
"I mean we go to the movies sometimes." I said.
"Sometimes? At least once or twice a week." Adam said.
"Same difference." I retorted.
"You guys sound very boring." Charlie said.
"We're not boring, just... simple." I said.
"Same thing." Charlie said.
"Is not."
"Is to."
"Is not."
"Is to!"
"It is not!"
"It is!"
"No Charlie Conways it's not."
"It is though, Y/n-"
"Would you two stop, sound like 5 year olds." Adam said cutting off Charlie. I gave Charlie one last stare before looking to Adam.
"We're really not boring, just hangout skate, watch movies, annoy my brother, and stuff along those lines." Adam said.
"Nothing else?" Charlie asked trying to pry on.
"I mean we do make-o-"
"Adam!" I said cutting him off. Charlie laughed a little and Adam just looked at me innocently.
"How'd you know what I was gonna say, what if I was saying make oversized shirts?" Adam asked.
"Oversized shirts, really?" I said. Adam just did an innocent shrug.
"I'm gonna go talk to Hans." I said extracting myself from whatever was happening. The boys just nodded in response and I left for the backroom. I walked in to see Hans working on a skate like usual.
"Hey." I greeted.
"Miss Y/n it's been a bit since I got to see you! Come over here so we can talk!" Hans said excitedly pointing to the chair across from him. I smiled at his energy and walked over to him....
Adams POV
"I don't know how she deals with you." Charlie said as she disappeared behind the door.
"I don't either." I responded.
"You're kinda dumb, you're not supposed to say whatever it is you do right in front of her." Charlie said.
"You were the one that kept asking." I said.
"Don't blame this on me I just wanted to see how my friends relationship was going." Charlie said.
"Oh yeah totally." I said. Charlie looked at me for a second looking like he was trying to find words or constipated.
"Alright Banksie, whats going on in the life of y/n and Adam." Charlie said making sure to be dramatic with it.
"Well, we've hung out about everyday for the past 3 months, I've stayed at her house a few times, last night I actually got to stay in her bed not the couch." I said.
"Banks going up levels on the trust scale, huh?" Charlie asked smiling.
"Yeah, except Mr. Dennis scares the crap outta me. He threatened me without threatening me, that's terrifying." I said. Charlie laughed at me for a second.
"Honestly surprised he would trust you to begin with. If it was my daughter I wouldn't let you sleep in the house to begin with." Charlie said.
"I feel the love Charles." I said.
"Don't call me Charles." He said.
"Sorry Charles." I said.
"Unless you want me to start calling you cake-eater again, I wouldn't." Charlie said.
"Ok, ok I won't call you Charles." I said.
"Alright then. So are you two really serious, or are you just another stupid teenage relationship?" Charlie asked.
"I would say serious. We definitely aren't a 'teenage relationship', she means so much more than that." I said.
"Never thought I'd see the day you care about a girl. It was always hockey, hockey, hockey. Then y/n rolls along and it's like poof, I'm in love." Charlie said.
"I cared about more than hockey." I defended.
"Oh yeah? What else did you dedicate your life to or would drop everything for, before y/n?" Charlie asked.
"Does like the team count?" I asked.
"No, they may be friends, but they became friends from hockey." Charlie said.
"Whatever, all that matters is that she's mine, and not mad at me. Who cares if all I cared about was hockey." I said.
"At this point might as well just get her a promise ring or something." Charlie said.
"That's not a bad idea." I said.
"Wait what? I wasn't being serious."
Charlie said.
"Well I am, looks like you're a little useful sometimes." I said. Charlie playfully rolled his eyes right as y/n walked out of the backroom. She came over and joined me and Charlie. We all talked for a while when it was eventually time.
"Bye conway." She said giving him a fistbump.
"Bye guys." Charlie said. We walked out of the shop.
"Why don't you give me fistbumps?" I asked.
"Cause you get kisses instead." She said.
"What if I wanted a fistbump?" I asked.
"Then say something, I won't kiss you anymore." She said.
"I didn't say that exactly, I just meant it'd be cool to get a fistbump or two." I said.
"Then say somethin later." She said.
"I will." I said. We skated all the way back to our houses, only stopped to look at the park a little. I didn't wanna really leave, but she had to go eat at the new restaurant. She gave me a sweet hug, man I could just melt into them. Then she gave me a peck on the lips and backed up.
"Still want a fistbump Banks?" She asked trying not to smile.
"Yes ma'am I do." I said. She laughed a little but still gave me a fistbump. Not gonna lie that kinda hurt, she hit hard.
"Bye Banks, love you." She said walking towards her house.
"Bye, love you too." I said. I smiled as she walked towards her house. She was absolutely breathtaking, I don't know how I manage to call her mine. I was serious about the promise rings, no I probably don't have the money right now, but I can still work towards it's. I mean she pretty much agreed to marrying me, so the promise ring would just be like a cherry on top. When I got inside it was only about 3, which meant I had a few hours to go before I could space out in my room. I went up to my room and found my money thing. I counted all of it out, $50. I still have a lot to go. It's not like I need to get one, but I still want to. She means the world to me and I will marry her someday, and that ring will be like my way of saying it. I'm never gonna meet anyone like her ever again...

So I kinda don't like this chapter, more like a filler chapter. It's really short, but I needed to get something out. I promise it'll start getting better soon, the beginnings just been a little slow.
