Y/n's POV

We were all sitting at our table for breakfast in the cafeteria. I was talking with Julie when I heard Rick Riley.

"Hey congrats on the Blake game." He said. I looked to see all of Varsity standing there.

"Yeah right." Charlie said.

"Hey a points a point." Rick said.

"We're all warriors now, you guys proved your guts. You guys set for dinner tonight?" Rick asked.

"Dinner?" Russ asked confused.

"Well, it's Eden hall tradition. Varsitys got to treat Freshmen to dinner." Rick said. Somethin was off about this but I wasn't gonna say anything. "So round up your posse and meet us at 6:00 at the Minnesota club, downtown. Anybody needs a ride, we can take you. I mean you guys do like steak and seafood right?"

"Yeah we do." Charlie said.

"Look I don't like you pukes alright, but this is a tradition. At Eden hall I learned to care about tradition." Cole said. He walked away leaving Adam.

"It's cool." Adam said. I believed Adam yes, but what if they just lied. I don't know really something just seems up.

"It's cool." Russ said shrugging.

"If banks says it's cool. Then I guess we're good." Someone said. As Adam walked by he brushed my back with his hand, I looked up to him to see him smiling at me. I smiled back and went back to the ducks. Nobody seemed to be second guessing it. Maybe I could ask Allison if she knows about this 'tradition' she's a year older, it's possible she might....

We were going to the place right now. I was riding with Adam and Julie in Scooters car. Scooter was the only one I would really want to ride with. The drive wasn't too long we were there. We signed in or whatever you call it and found the table with Rick and a varsity dude. I sat down a little down and on the other side off Adam. Julie was sitting next to me while we waited for the rest of the team. Within about 5 minutes everyone was here...

We all had our food and were eating. I was about two down for Dwayne and noticed him looking at his forks confused.

"Waiter I've got too many forks I only need one. I don't- y'all I just- what's this little bitty one- what's this little bitty-." He said confused.

"Hey Julie want my extra prime rib." Goldberg offered earning and elbow from Julie. "Look I'm just trying to help you." Nothing more was said cause rick started tapping the glass loudly. I looked to see him standing up.

"On behalf of the Eden Hall warrior varsity state champion hockey team, I'd like to welcome the future state champs, the Eden Hall freshmen. Here here." He said raising his glass. Everyone did the fancy glass clinking. "We're just lucky you loaned us Banksie so we'd have a chance to beat you guys. In the annual freshmen-varsity showdown." Rick said grabbing Adams arm. Somethin looked wrong with Adam. Looked like he was guilty of something. "Now, nobody move. We've got one last surprise, fellas!" Rick said. The Varsity team began getting up and leaving the room. "Banksie." Rick said to the still sitting Adam. Adam looked to me and it looked like he mouthed I'm sorry. I looked at him confused, but he didn't do anything else. "Don't worry, we'll be right back." He said as they all walked out. Adam had his head down the whole time he walked out. This wasn't feelin good at all.

"Guys I don't wanna spoil anything, but I heard something in the bathroom. It's a cake. Act surprised, alright." Guy said to us. Why'd they need the whole team to bring in a cake? We sat there for a moment and the doors opened. I looked at the cake and realized it wasn't what we thought, thanks for dinner losers, was wrote on the cake. The waiter handed Charlie the check.

"Eight hundred-fifty seven dollars." Charlie read.

"Where are we gonna get that kinda cash?" Goldberg asked.....

We were at varsity hall getting sweet sweet revenge.

"Coast clear, c'mon." We began to get the tubes and rope ready. With Guy and Connie's help we got the tubes under the door and to the boys beds.

"Did you get em?"

"Yeah only a couple, ya know." We got them ready to poor in the tube.

"Release the hungry fellas." Connie said over the walkie talkie.

"Drop em in there." Russ said. Charlie began pouring the container with ants into the funnel. I watched as the ants fell into the funnel slowly going down the tube. It was very silent for a few moments til two screams were heard from Scooter and Riley's room. I felt bad for doing it to Scooter and Adam, but at the same time it's just payback. Screams started sounding from all the rooms and the ropes were going crazy.

"Let em out." Charlie said to Julie. She pulled the rope and all the ropes around the doorknobs fell off. Doors flew open and you could hear them hitting the floor. The boys clambered out of the rooms and itching like crazy.

"You think you're funny huh? You think you're worth a damn? You're all just white trash!" Rick yelled.

"Uh who you callin white trash?" Russ asked laughing.

"That's right well take you anytime anywhere." Charlie said.

"Tomorrow dawn." Rick said. The boys all began going to the showers. I was laughing til I seen Adams face. He looked so mad but, hurt? Whatever it was made me feel horrible. I watched as he went out of sight. I was snapped out of my thoughts by a yell.

"I'm gonna kill you guys!" Cole yelled inching into the hallway.

"Oh boy, I think it's time we leave." Charlie said. We began walking back to our dorms. I felt worse than I should. I've never seen Adam look at me like that. I've made him mad once or twice yeah, but never seen that. He looked like I betrayed him. It was the look Charlie when he learned I was captain, but he also looked real angry at me. I don't know at this point. I should talk to him tomorrow, but we're playing them at dawn. That could make things worse at this point. Jeez life's confusing sometimes...
