Something's been making me a little uneasy recently, and I don't mean Merlins Porkchops or whatever that guild's name is. I mean, I have a feeling that we're not alone. It's this nagging feeling that someone's here. I don't mean just anyone. I mean her.

Now:

• LUCY'S POV •

Meraki Parastin might prove to be a challenge this year. What about Splitforce?

I glanced over to the lacrima-vision that was showing Phedalea. She had used all of her units off the bat as well, buying 20 dual wielders, making them all defense. She must be confident in her abilities to be doing that. 

I watched Phedalea as she jumped from treetop to treetop at fast speeds. She found her way to Quatro Cerberus' tower, which included seeing Semmes. In terms of size, Semmes definitely had the advantage, as well as having a good defense to back him up. He had 5 mages on defense with him. I didn't see if he put anything on offense.

"Phoenix Golden Flame Screech!" Phedalea screeched towards the defensive unit of the tower. A golden fire escaped her mouth in a straight line, looking similar to Natsu's roar, but it was smaller and precise. She immediately took out the 5 mages backing up Semmes without causing destruction to anything else. 

"Woah! What magic did Phedalea of Splitforce just use?!" Chapati exclaimed as they watched the battle between Phadelea and Semmes continue. 

"Seems to be Phoenix magic. It's a form of fire magic. Though it's not a lost magic, it's very rare to see people use," Yajima explained. Phoenix magic huh?

"Will you look at that! Phedalea has captured Quatro Cerberus' princess as well as defeat Semmes, giving her the first 1 point of the event! If she returns to her tower, she will earn 5 more points!" Chapati announced, earning a round of applause and cheers from the audience. 

I gazed over the other lacrima screens of the other contestants. Semmes was chasing after Phedalea once he respawned, Erza was fighting against Ren in Blue Pegasus' tower, Rufus and Yuka were fighting somewhere in the forest, Millianna was trying to get passed Erza's defense system, while Dante and his army raided what I think was Splitforce's tower.

• 3RD PERSON POV (This parts kinda rushed ngl) •

The fight between the Great Titania and Ren Akatsuki was pretty one-sided. The scarlet haired knight soon defeated him, leaving him to respawn in 10 seconds and giving her 1 point. She quickly made her way up the stairs and captured the princess, destroyed one of the 2nd story walls and jumped onto the treetops, making her way back to her base.

Millianna of Mermaid Heel was having trouble fighting against the 10 elemental warriors of Erza's only defense. Her Nekōsoku Tube wasn't enough to keep all 10 of them away, leading to her defeat, earning Erza 1 more point.

Semmes chased Phedalea as fast as he could, trying to return his princess to the tower. Phedalea was too quick though, and her magic far surpassed his, so he couldn't quite catch up. She soon returned to her untouched tower, successfully capturing the princess, earning her 5 more points, and teleporting Semmes back to his balcony with 0 points.

Yuka and Rufus battled in the forest, far from the other contestants. Though Yuka tried his hardest, he was simply no match for the memory-make wizard of the former #1 guild of Fiore. Rufus defeated the Lamia Scale wizard, earning himself 3rd place with 1 point.

Dante and his overwhelming army of 100 soldiers raided the tower of Splitforce, running into the young Phoenix wizard. Though Phedalea's magic was quite powerful, Dante's well-armored forces were no match for her. She was overwhelmed by the number of soldiers coming her way, giving Dante an opening to attack with a blinding white holy sword, striking down the Phoenix mage, earning 1 point. He soon took the princess of the Splitforce tower and made his way back to his base.

After respawning, Millianna and Ren, having no idea where Titania went, quickly made their way into the forest, running into each other's offense unit, though the person in charge of the unit was nowhere in sight. They both quickly defeated the weak unit, being the awesome wizards they were. Not long after, they ran into each other, quickly engaging in a battle. They were quick to attack each other, eager to at least place this round. Millianna had cast 'Kitten Blast' while Ren cast ' Aerial Shot', shooting the surrounding debris towards the girl. Having both of them so focused on offense instead of defense, the had both defeated each other, giving each of them 1 point, tying for 3rd place at the moment.

The Fairy Tail wizard jumped from treetop to treetop, avoiding as much contact as possible, trying not to drop the princess that hung on her shoulders. Very quickly, she arrived back at her tower, seeing that none of her defense unit was defeated, much to her surprise, a wave of relief soon following after the feeling. She had successfully captured Blue Pegasus' princess, giving her 5 points and sending Ren Akatsuki back to the Blue Pegasus balcony. She soon ran away from her tower, looking for a new target.

Dante had returned to his tower, seeing the Sabertooth wizard, Rufus Lore, quickly disposing of the defense army Dante had created. Being that their magic was quite similar, the arena knew this would be a good fight. Dante quickly ordered his offense unit to attack, as he held Splitforce's princess in his hands, giving him time to cast another spell. "Phantom Guardian: Tiger Beast!" Dante yelled, a large tiger beast starting to take form in front of the caster. It was an armored black-furred tiger, sharp teeth bared, though its tail looked transparent, looking a little ghostly. 

Though it looked like a ghost, it was still very much real, attacking the Sabertooth wizard as he did his best to fight back, but he was overwhelmed with the 100+ soldiers, the Tiger Beast, and the Meraki Parastin wizard attacking him all at once. Dante soon received 1 more point. Dante thought it was quite clever. Use a tiger to defeat a tiger.

As the Lamia Scale wizard wandered through the forest, he came upon the Mermaid Heel tower. He was quick to defeat the 10 regular swordsman in her defense unit. He ran inside to quickly take the princess, though right behind him was Millianna, who had just respawned. She quickly tried to defeat him and get her princess back. As they neared closer to the Lamia Scale tower, he was distracted with the rough terrain of the battlefield, so the cat girl blasted a spell at him, defeating him and giving her 1 point. She quickly picked up the princess and tried to remember her way back to her tower.

Dante made his way into this tower, successfully capturing Splitforce's princess, sending Phedalea back to her balcony. Though she was disappointed, she ended the round with a decent amount of points. Dante was now tied for 1st place with the Great Titania of Fairy Tail. The white-haired embodiment wizard left his tower, leaving 100 soldiers to guard while he took 100 with him to raid other towers.

Yuka of Lamia Scale has yet to gain any points. He had yet to use all of his units yet, so he used the last of his 70 units to deploy 14 mages as his defense squad. He had remembered the way to the Mermaid Heel tower so he quickly ran to at least obtain 5 points. After running through the forest he finally made it back to the tower, seeing Millianna leave her tower to go offense. He waited for her to leave and he went into the tower, quickly defeating the archers that hid in the trees as a form of defense for her tower. He took the princess and quickly escaped the tower without being caught.

Rufus had just respawned back in his base. He had memorized the spell of the ferocious beast he had just fought with, and using that to his advantage, he summoned forth the same beast, though with some slight adjustments. Black lightning crackled around the phantom beast as the tiger stayed put in the tower as Sabertooth's defense. Rufus roamed the forest, stumbling upon Lamia Scale's tower. He quickly disposed of the mere mages that stood in his way. He climbed up the stairs and took the princess, making his way back to his own tower.

Yuka had just made it back to his tower with Mermaid Heel's princess, earning himself 5 points, teleporting Millianna back to the balcony of Mermaid Heel. He had noticed his princess missing, though he could not find the culprit. In an attempt to find the kidnapper, he ran into the scarlet knight. What luck he has.

Erza was quick to strike the wizard she had come upon, sending 100 non-magical swords his way, due to his ability to nullify magic. Though she had used magic to send them, the swords themselves did not carry magic, allowing them to strike Yuka. He was quickly defeated by the S-Class mage of Fairy Tail, giving her 1 more point, passing Meraki Parastin.

Rufus made it back to his tower with no casualties, successfully gaining 5 points as Yuka is sent back to his guild's balcony. As he wandered aimlessly through the forest, looking for another contestant or tower. There were only 3 towers left, as 5 guilds have already been defeated, making their towers disappear as well as their soldiers. He came upon the tower of Meraki Parastin. He was relieved to see the guild wizard was nowhere to be seen. The Sabertooth mage easily defeated the 100 soldiers, as they were ordinary soldiers that were similar to rune knights. Rufus made his way into the tower, running to quickly snatch the princess that resided in the tower. As soon as she hung over his shoulders, he quickly escaped, not wanting to be caught by the powerful mage of Meraki Parastin. 

As Dante led his army of 100 men into the forest, he hears a sound coming from the trees. A rustling sound, as if someone's nearby. Before he could pinpoint where the noise was coming from, 8 flying swords come through the trees, defeating more than half the army in just mere seconds. The flying swords dancing through the air as if under a command, striking the men down with a single blow, then moving to the next target. From the trees, he spots the culprit. Erza Scarlet in her Ataraxia Armor. Before he could pay the scarlet-haired mage, he started disappearing. "Wait! Not ye-" He starts to yell, but before he could finish, he was teleported to his balcony. He was this close to fighting Titania and showing his true strength. That would've been a great battle.

As Dante disappeared, Erza quickly requipped into her Flight Armor, increasing her speed immensely. She soared through the trees, looking for Sabertooth's tower, hoping that her defense back at her tower is still intact. 

Rufus had found Erza's tower and is now currently facing off with 3 of the elemental tanks. 1 of each element except water and fire. There were only 8 when he had gotten here, so 2 were already defeated. "Memory-Make: Karma of the Burning Land!" Rufus yelled, the sky soon turning red. He punched the ground, a crack soon appearing in the ground, soon consuming and defeating the last of Erza's defense. He quickly retracted the spell and ran up the stairs, taking the princess out of the tower and into the forest.

Erza had come upon Rufus' tower, coming face to face with the phantom beast from the Saber's memory. She quickly requipped her sword into the Sea Empress Sword, as it's effective against lightning, while still being in her Flight Armor. The beast was quick, but the well-trained swordswoman was quicker. As the beast lunged to attack, she dove underneath the beast, gliding her sword through the tiger. With its defeat, it slowly dissolved, leaving nothing left.

The scarlet knight put her sword into her Requip inventory and made her way up the stairs, taking the princess into her arms. She jumped down the stairs and, with her flight armor, ran through the forest at immense speed. 

As Rufus ran through the forest with Erza's princess in his hands. He was so close to winning. He just needed to return to base. He continued to run until he hears faint footsteps moving quickly. He stops in place, glancing around the area to try and find the cause of the noise. Suddenly, 8 flying swords launch towards him. He was able to dodge it but he was struck a couple of times. Just then, he knew Titania was nearby. "Memory-Make: Phanto-" He was cut off by the swords striking him constantly. Then, as if she had teleported, Erza appeared in front of the man, slashing him with her sword while the other hand secured the princess that was slung over her shoulder. She was too quick for him to react, leading to her successfully defeating him, earning herself another point.

Erza slings her princess over her other shoulder, carrying both princesses back to her own tower. With her flight armor, getting there was a breeze. In just a few seconds, she returned to her base, gaining 5 points for the captured princess.

• LUCY'S POV •

"And that's it folks! Kingdom Raid has now concluded!" Chapati announces as Erza is teleported back to Fairy Tail's balcony, instantly being greeted with hugs and praise. 

"Let's look at the scoreboard for the event, kabo!" Mato says as a lacrima-vision pops up in the middle of the arena.

"Look's like Fairy Tail is starting off the games in the lead! Let's look at the points for the overall games!" Chapati exclaimed, making a different lacrima screen pop up.

"Looks like Fairy Tail and Sabertooth have some competition! The new guild, Splitforce, and Meraki Parastin, who had competed in last years's Grand Magic Games and got 7th place! Looks like this year, they're not messing around!" Chapati voiced as people cheered upon looking at the screen.

"Meraki Parastin is a force to be reckoned with. If all their guild members are as strong as Dante Adwin, I'd say Sabertooth and Fairy Tail is in trouble," Yajima agreed.

"Yes, they're quite powerful, but Fairy Tail has some powerful wizards on their team as well," Hisui noted as I nodded my head in agreement.

"Fairy Tail's gonna win!" Callista roared as loud as she could over the chatter. She has serious pipes on her. I just hope no one heard her.

• ROGUE'S POV •

"Fairy Tail's gonna win!" I hear a faint female voice. Since dragon slayers have a better sense of hearing, I could hear it, but looking at Sting, he was probably too busy to notice, as well as Natsu, Gajeel, and Laxus. 

I look overhead to where I heard the voice. I thought it was kind of weird. How could someone be over the arena? As I look closer, I see 2 figures on one of the statues over the Domus Flau. I couldn't see too clearly since it was so far away but I swear they looked like people.

My gaze is then immediately snapped back to the middle of the arena when I hear Chapati talk through the mic. "Now, let's get to the 1 v 1 battles for today!"
