โ€ข Time Skip ~ One Week Later โ€ข

My eyes fluttered open, my head throbbing in pain as I try to remember what happened. Just then, scattered fragments of what happened flashed in my mind.

~

In the middle of the council room, a large cloud started to expand, getting bigger with each passing moment. "What's this I hear about you Aecronicans losing the Scepter of Divinity?!" A voice bellowed, shaking the room like a tiny earthquake. The large clouds started to glow, blinding all of us, making everyone avert their gaze.

"Centuries ago, my father, Kronos, King of the Titans ruled the universe. He became power-hungry so when he heard that one of his children would overthrow him, he swallowed them whole," Zeus explained, the thunder dying down. "My mother was able to save me from being eaten, so when I grew older, I saved my siblings by making Kronos throw them back up. This lead to the Titanomachy, the war between the Titans and the Gods."

"That's when you Aecronicans come in," Odin continued. "Aecronicans were once just a group of 1000 or so mere mortals. But even so, they played a big part in the war. Especially the Heartfilia family."

"The Heartfilia family was the reason we won the war," Zeus gazed at me with a softened expression. "The Gods of Greece, Egypt, and the Nordic Countries will forever be grateful, which is why we blessed the Heartfilia bloodline. As long as the universe still exists, the Heartfilia family will forever receive this blessing."

"You, Lucy Heartfilia, come from a long line of Titan Slayers," Amun-Ra explained as he smiled. But that smile soon turned into a grim expression. "And I have a feeling that you will soon have to put those powers to use."

"The scepter is the key to the Titans wake. We gave to the Heartfilia family for safekeeping because keeping it with the Gods would be too obvious. We then hid the humans, along with the Heartfilia family, that were still alive from the war here in Aecronica, deeming them Aecronicans and gracing them by turning them into angels," Odin explained. "With the scepter gone, I'm afraid that this generation's ruler won't be able to stop the inevitable awakening."

"But the Heartfilia bloodline has since grown even more powerful," Zeus pointed out. "And with a certain blessing and some training, she could take down the Titans."

"By giving Lucy Heartfilia this blessing, she will become the most powerful Titan Slayer of her bloodline," Amun-Ra explained. "I say we do it."

"With this blessing, you will be able to use god soul and summon any god in Greek, Egyptian, and Norse mythology," Amun-Ra told me.

Zeus boomed, opening his eyes for them to shine a bright gold light, and within a blink of an eye, I blackout.

"Right... Those gods did something to me. Ugh, my head feels like it's going to explode," I thought to myself as I sit myself up. I looked down at my clothes to see that I'm wearing different clothes than before. I was wearing black leggings with white drawstrings and stripes going down the side. My t-shirt was white with a red collar and 3 stripes. Someone must have changed my clothes while I was out. My belt with my key pouch and fleuve d'รฉtoiles was around my waist still though. I glanced around the room to see a familiar layout. "Must be my room."

My gaze continues to wander until it landed on a familiar look short, dark-haired girl with her back to me. "Calli?" I blurted.

She then turned towards me and her eyes widened. "Lulu!" She gasped as she tackled me into a hug. Plue wasn't anywhere to be seen. His gate must've closed when I blacked out.

"Woah! Are you okay?" I chuckled as Callista moved off of me and sat next to me.

"You made me worried," Callista uttered as she looked towards me. "You've been asleep for a week!"

A week?! Just what did those gods do to me?

"Well I'm okay now," I responded as I placed my hand on her head reassuringly. "So how's the palace been for the week?"

"Cassandra and the zodiacs have been trying to plan out your coronation without you, though it's hard for them to choose something they think you'll like," Callista explained. "They were able to recover the coronation preparation folders but the scepter is still missing."

"Well that's great! When's my coronation anyway?" I asked as I stood up from the bed.

"Cassandra decided that the coronation should be the week after you wake up," Callista replied as she got up as well. "She thought that the faster we get the coronation out of the way, the sooner we could move onto your training."

"Well that settles it! The coronations next week!" I cheered, excited that I'll finally get to start training soon so I can return to Fiore. "What day is it today anyway?"

"Thursday, June 25th. Your birthday's next week isn't it?" Callista asked.

"Oh yeah, I guess it is," I say surprised at how fast time flew by. Well I guess I was knocked out for a week. "So where's Cassandra?"

"Cass is in the ballroom setting up your coronation," Callista explained while grabbing my hand. "Come on! Let's go help her!"

"Alright. Let me just get some shoes first," I chuckled. I walked into my closet after receiving a nod from Callista. I walk to the shoe table and just grab a pair of white sneakers. I go over to the undergarments drawer and open the drawer box with the socks. I just grabbed a regular pair of socks and pushed the drawer box back in. I sat on the ground and put on my socks followed by my shoes. (outfit \/)

Once I got out of my closet, I was once again dragged by Callista to who knows where. Once again, I tried memorizing the layout of the palace so I know my way around.

Immediately after leaving my bedroom, we turned left like last time. After passing a few doors, I could see the 2 curved marble staircases in front of the entrance from last time, but instead of going down the stairs, we turn the corner right before the office, going into a hallway that led out to the foyer stairs. Callista continues dragging me, making us pass another hallway that led to wherever until she finally stopped. (here's a rough draft of the 2nd floor of the palace. I've labeled all the rooms I've mentioned :3 \/ ik it looks bad ok-)

I glanced around the room, noticing that we were on a balcony overlooking a massive, high-ceilinged room. The balcony wrapped around the 2nd floor of the room, a huge window on the farthest side of us, right over 2 staircases that combined in the middle, directing the stairs towards the middle of the room (Idk how to describe it. it's like those classic princess staircases \/ - note that it's only the stairs that I'm showing)

In the middle of the high ceiling was a large golden chandelier, emitting a bright golden light. Several marble pillars were just on the edge on the balcony, reaching from the top of the ceiling on the 2nd floor all the way to the 1st-floor ground. There were clean marble floors with some gold in the middle of the 1st floor of the ballroom that formed a picture of the same flower that I saw in the foyer and my bedroom. I saw a lot of people everywhere, some moving tables while others were placing some decorations. In the middle of all the chaos and noise was Cassandra pointing all over the place, telling people where to put things.

This ballroom looked like a real fairy tale. I was snapped out of my thoughts by Callista pulling my hand. I moved and followed Callista while she walked around the balcony, finally reaching one of the stairs at the end.

Callista hopped down the stairs quickly while I just walked down normally, taking my time. "Lucy! You're awake!" I glanced up to see Cassandra making her way towards me. "Are you feeling okay?"

"Yeah, my head still hurts a little bit but I'll be fine," I told her as I stopped at the foot of the steps.

"I'm guessing Callista explained the plans for your coronation?" Cassandra asked, turning around to look around the ballroom as I walked over to her.

"Yeah. So what day will it be on next week?" I responded as Cassandra looked at her notebook page.

"We were thinking it would be on Wednesday, your birthday, since it is next week. Kill 2 birds with 1 stone," Cassandra explained as she faced towards me, earning my approving nod. "I've created a new schedule for you while you were out." Cassandra looks at a large grandfather clock that stood next to the wall next to a doorway leading out into a hallway on the 1st floor. "It's 9:47 am. At 10:00 am, we could start combat training with Commander Leo if you're up to it," Cassandra told me as she changed to gaze to me.

"Yes! Let's start my training," I responded excitedly. It didn't do unnoticed by Callista and she was instantly excited as well.

"Alright. Let's just finish up the coronation preparations for today," Cassandra replied before turning back to the workers and told them how and where to place things.

โ€ข Time Skip ~ 9:57 am โ€ข

Cassandra just finished up setting up the ballroom for today so now we were on our way to train with Leo. She got one of the workers to request for Leo to meet us in the gardens for combat training a few minutes ago so Leo should be there already.

We walked through a hallway where you could see the foyer, but before reaching the foyer, we turned right, passing by the hallway where Cassandra's office was. It was long until we were in a seating room with a grand piano. Large glass double doors were leading to the outside. I could see the bright universe over Aecronica and it looked beautiful. Though it was still a little dark because space is a dark void, it was a lot more like a bright morning than a night sky than the last time I looked at the universe. (here's the 1st-floor layout rough draft with all the rooms I've mentioned \/)

Cassandra pushed the glass doors outward, the warm breeze instantly hitting me. Cassandra, followed by Callista and I, walked through the clear outside. The castle gardens had paths leading towards the middle which had a large stone fountain. There were a few benches placed next to the paths and there was a large stone statue of an angel. There were large flower beds filled with many different flowers, though it didn't go unnoticed that there was still the same golden orange flower from before.

Just passed the fountain, we see Leo standing near the edge of the hill, at the edge of the castle property. The whole castle property was fenced with a stone fence that only reached to about my stomach so it wasn't very tall and you could easily jump over it. I don't think they expect people to have the audacity to break into the property of someone close to gods, but they were wrong.

"Go to see you up and around, Princess," Leo smirked when he turned around and saw us coming his way. Instead of his golden armor, he wore black shorts, a plain white shirt, and plain black sneakers.

"Yeah yeah," I sneered as I playfully rolled my eyes. "So what are we doing first?"

"We'll spar first so I can see where you're at right now. No weapons or magic. Only hand-to-hand combat, that way I can define your strength," Leo explained. "But just so you know, this is me going easy on you."

"Um, alright," I replied unsurely. I remove my belt from my waist that held my key pouch and fleuve d'รฉtoiles (I honestly forgot about it but I thought it's Lucy's classic weapon so here it is. I went back and mentioned it :3) and I hand it to Callista, who was on the sidelines along with Cassandra, who both stared intently at our battle. At least he's not wearing his armor, otherwise, this would've really been unfair.

"Ready?" Leo asked, getting into a fighting stance.

"As I'll ever be," I replied, getting into my fighting stance. I've barely done hand-to-hand combat before. I hope I at least do okay.

"3, 2, 1..." Cassandra counted off.

"Fight!" Callista exclaimed as she started jumping out of excitement.

Leo lunged forward with I stood back, wanting to observe how I could do things. Leo threw a right hook so I bent my knees to duck, only to be kneed in the stomach at lightning speed. I jumped backward, away from being hit any further.

"Not bad, but you left yourself open," Leo said as he run towards me to hit another attack. I heard Callista whimper as I continue to dodge.

Leo continued to move closer, so I quickly lift my right hand to uppercut him in the jaw then I quickly retracted and jabbed his face with my left fist. He stumbled backward, so I took this to my advantage. As fast as I could, I turn my body left, lifting my right leg. I extend my right leg into a turning kick to hit Leo, only for it to be blocked with his left arm.

"Nice try," he chuckled as he grabbed my right leg with his left hand. He threw it back, making me tumble backward a little. He took this time to push kick me in the gut with his left leg, making me stumble even farther back. With me not being able to regain my balance quickly enough, he moved quickly to throw 2 right jabs and a left hook, making me land on the ground.

"I think that enough sparring for today," Leo said, extending a hand out to help me.

"Thanks, I guess," I chuckled as I took his hand, lifting myself up off the ground. "So how can I improve?"

"Your dodging isn't bad. Neither is your offense, but your blocking, agility, and balance are what we need to work on right now," Leo explained. "So let's work on those."

โ€ข Time Skip ~ 11:53 am, almost 2 hrs later โ€ข

"Okay, I think we've made progress today. Next is lunch," Cassandra noted with looking at her notebook.

"Thank you, Lok- I mean Leo," I said to Leo. I'm still used to saying Loke. I want to call him Leo so I don't mix the two up.

"Don't mention it," Leo replied. "Say, if you really wanna thank me, how about a kiss?" It's very hard to tell them apart.

"No!" I exclaimed in frustration as I 'lucy kicked' him onto the ground. "Let's go to lunch now," I say as I walk to Cassandra and Callista.

"Bye Commander Leo!" Callista waved as she skipped to the glass doors, with me and Cassandra following behind.

"Bye!" Leo waved back as he sat on the ground.

โ€ข LAXUS' POV โ€ข

It's been a week since Lucy left Fairy Tail. It's hasn't been the same. No one's been the same.

Team Natsu barely goes on any jobs anymore unless they need the money, and even so, they only take small, quick jobs. Natsu and Gray don't fight like they used to, heck, Natsu doesn't even pick a fight with anyone anymore. He's been super sad lately. He and Happy only come to the guild for the day then leave.

Gray barely strips anymore. I didn't know it was possible for him to do that! Wendy doesn't smile or laugh the same. She, Carla and Happy try to cheer Team Natsu up but it always fails. Erza's eating more strawberry cake than usual. I think it's her coping mechanism?

Even though I don't really know blondie that well, I miss the way she lit up the room with her smile and laugh. I miss the way she was always so optimistic. I miss the way she made Fairy Tail, Fairy Tail.

As for everyone else, they haven't gotten over it either. Everyone at least still talks to each other, trying to forget the pain they felt when Lucy left, but there isn't the special light in Fairy Tail anymore. Everyone misses that light. Everyone misses Lucy. I miss Lucy. I hope she misses us too.
