โ€ข LUCY'S POV โ€ข

As soon as Callista and I stepped out of the gateway, it disappeared, leaving me and my friends in different realms. My legs began to feel like jelly as they trembled even more. I fell to the ground, tears falling down from my face before I could even realize it. I guess I lied earlier. I guess I still do have a few tears left to cry.

Now:

"Lulu? A-Are you alright?" Callista fretted as she ran to my side, kneeling down to my height as she placed a hand on my shoulder to give me comfort.

"I-I'm fine. Let's get training started as soon as possible!" I stated, getting off my knees as I had a newfound determination. "The sooner I master the magic, the sooner I get to see my friends," I say with obvious determination in my eyes, wiping my tears away.

Callista nods in agreement. "I can ask Cassandra if we can start training tomorrow," she replies as she gets up from the ground as well.

"Cassandra?"

"The royal advisor. She's a descendant of the constellation Cassiopeia," Callista explained, making me wonder about something.

"Is everyone here related to a constellation?" I asked, curiosity filling my brain.

"Only the ones who work in the palace. Very few are the actual constellations themselves," she explained as she started walking through a forest, making me follow close behind.

"Alright," I nod as I look around, just now realizing I have no idea where we're going. "So uh... where we goin'?"

"The royal palace of course. Since you want to start training to quickly, Cassandra and I need to make a schedule as soon as possible," Callista explained, pushing a few tree branches to the side. I should get used to being in this new world if I'm going to stay here for a few years. I glanced around, finally taking in my surroundings.

The sky no longer looked like the sky, instead, it looked like the universe spread across the abyss. Both the sun and the moon were visible, making it almost impossible to tell what time it was. "Callista, can you even tell time here?" I questioned, observing the endless starry space while continuing to walk.

"The brightness of the stars. They're dimmer in the morning, brighter at night," she explained, joining me in looking at the stars. "They're pretty bright right now, but they twinkle at midnight. It's always absolutely breathtaking. It's probably around 9 pm right now. Transporting through the portal took a while since my magic isn't very advanced."

I nodded my head as she continued walking in a certain direction. I followed her as I continued to observe my surroundings. The tree leaves were light green and looked as if they were just regrowing. The flowers on the ground were small, just barely blooming from the soil. It was spring in Earthland so I suppose the season would carry over to this world as well. Looking further into the horizon, I notice that there are islands that seemed to be floating over nothing but space. Just behind those islands, far into the vast outer space, I notice other planets. One particular one caught my eye. It looked like Earthland.

"What's with the other planets in the sky?" I asked as I turned my head to look at the petite, dark-haired girl. Even if the sky did look like the universe, it didn't seem right to be able to see other planets.

"We have no sky here. Aecronica is a group of floating islands, tucked away in a pocket of space. Aecronica earned the title 'The Sacred Universe' with two keywords. Sacred as in us. Since we're angels, we're close to the gods. Universe as in our home. We're hidden behind the vast universe, making us undetectable by other planets. Kind of like one-way glass. We can transport to any planet we wish to go to, while they can't even see our islands. It's a gift from the gods for what our ancestors have done."

โ€ข GRAY'S POV โ€ข

We made it back to the guild hall a couple minutes ago, every one fresh out of tears. Well everyone except for Natsu that is. When I told him about what happened, he broke down even more, blaming himself for not chasing after Lucy.

Everyone's now silent. No one wanted to admit it but Lucy played a big part in Fairy Tail, even though she's one of the newer members. Without her here, it just doesn't feel like Fairy Tail anymore.

โ€ข LUCY'S POV โ€ข

"We're here!" Callista exclaimed. I glance up towards where she was looking to see I large white castle lined with gold. The castle seemed to have a faint glow, making it look... dare I say... angelic. It had two towers on the sides with one slightly bigger tower surrounded by tiny towers in the middle. All the towers were connected with a mansion, the entrance having a balcony overhead, behind held up by pillars. (idk how to describe it so here's a pic of the way its kind of structured. \/   just imagine its white, lined with gold and its glowing while its nighttime.)

"This is the royal palace...?" I said in awe. This place is amazing!

"Yup!" She says hopping up the stairs to the entrance. "I should introduce you to Cassandra first then I can show you to your room. It's pretty late so we should call it a day afterward."

"Okay," I responded, being brought back into reality. We climbed up the grand steps leading up to the front doors. 2 guards stood at the front, swords sheathed on their waists as they rest their hand closest to the sword on its hilt, resting their other hand on their side.

"Is this her majesty?" One of the guards asked, making me sigh at the formality.

"Yes it is, Malachi," she responded as she averts her gaze from him, looking at the other guard. "I expect you to behave in her presence, Miles." She smiles as if she knows the one she calls 'Miles' is going to do something.

"Understood," Miles replied, slightly embarrassed as he opened the front doors for Callista and I.

"Thank you," I say, following behind Callista as she enters the grand palace. "So are they related to constellations as well?" I asked as we walked through the halls. There were a ton of people rushing around. It was pretty late so I expected everyone to have gone home by now.

"Malachi is a descendant of Canis Major, the big dog. Miles, a descendant of Canis Minor, the little dog," she explained as she stopped to help a man move a chair. Everyone seemed to be on edge. There were mumbles, the sound of footsteps rushing around on the wooden floor, and sometimes people were moving too fast and dropped something.

"Why is everyone in such as rush? Shouldn't they be resting since it's so late?" I asked as I handed some cloth to a woman who dropped it as she was passing by.

"Everyone's getting the castle ready for your coronation!" Callista exclaimed as she turned around to send me a smile, continuing to walk through the busy hallway. "You're not officially queen yet, but since there's currently no one on the thrown right now, we need to have a coronation as soon as possible."

"Why didn't you guys find me sooner then?" I questioned, trying to keep up with the small girl who moved swiftly.

"You weren't old enough. Since your 18th birthday is next month, I was tasked with finding you so you can be crowned queen." Oh, right. I forgot my birthday was next month. July 1st. I can't believe I left my friends right before my birthday.

"Why couldn't you get someone else to be crowned?" I asked, glancing around the halls. They were marble pillars reaching the ceiling, white walls connecting them all. Paintings hung on the walls, looking as ancient as the country Fiore itself.

Callista turned to me as she stopped in her tracks, making me stop abruptly. "No one else can be crowned. Only people of royal Heartfilia lineage can be crowned." She said in a harsh tone, making me panic at how quickly her personality changed. "Otherwise, I don't know what Aecronica will face," she mumbled under her breath, though I could still hear her.

"Why can't they have someone not of royal blood rule Aecronica?" I thought to myself, though I just pushed the thought away and ignored it. It's probably just tradition. We continued walking down the hall in silence, the sound of people hurrying around us being all I heard.

When we reached the end of the hallway, Callista opened the large wooden doors to the side, revealing a woman with dark brown hair that reached to about the middle of her upper arm. She had hazel eyes that stared at me with a blank expression, making me feel nervous. She stood at about 5'6", her flawless, light brown skin glimmering in the moonlight that came through the window she stood next to. She wore a whitish - tan dress, a red silk sash draped over her right shoulder, crossing downwards to her left hip. She looked older than me but not by much. Maybe early 20s? She stood tall, not slouching one bit. She made me feel inferior in so many ways.

"Lucy Heartfilia I presume?" She spoke as she made direct eye contact, asserting her dominance.

"Y-Yes. I'm guessing you're Cassandra?" I asked, my words coming out like a squeak as her presence made me feel uneasy.

"Yes. I am Cassandra Aethian, the royal advisor," she responded, a blank expression still plastered on her face.

"Aw, cmon Cass! Don't be like that to Lulu!" Callista exclaimed as she tackled Cassandra into a hug, making me tense a little bit, scared at how Cassandra may react.

"Callista! Don't call your majesty Lulu!" Callista ordered, making me flinch a little bit.

"But Cass~! She said I can call her Lulu," Callista pouted, making Cassandra look at me for an answer. I nod, making Cassandra sigh.

"You don't have to call me your majesty either you know," I offered, fidgeting with my fingers.

"Alright. Lucy, if you need anything just ask me or Callista," she instructed as she turned to the clock that hung on the wall. "It's 10 pm right now. Callista, show Lucy to her room."

"Okie dokie," Callista complied as she turned towards me and took my hand, rushing me out of the room. "I can't wait for you to see your room!" We run through the halls while turning a few corners, dodging all the busy people working. There have been a few times where we almost bumped into someone but we just barely missed them.

"Callista, slow down!" I exclaimed, trying to pull back but it was no use. She was moving to fast and she was weirdly strong for someone her size. "You're gonna bump into someone!"

"No I won't!" She giggled, running even faster. As fate would have it (and by fate I mean me, the author), we bumped into someone. What a cliche. Callista bumps into a strong figure dressed down in armor, making her fall after the impact as she drags me down with her due to her tight grip on my hand.

"Princess, didn't anyone ever tell you to not run in the halls?"

I look up, making eye contact with the mysterious person we bumped into. My eyes widen at who I see. "What the hell are you doing here?!"

So I didn't know what song to put for this chapter so I just went with the one I thought connected the most. Just imagine this song from Fairy Tail's perspective :3
