Thank you for being interested in this FanFiction of Warriors ❤️

It's volume 1 of the series "Secrets of the Ancestors". Volume 2 is also finished and at the moment I'm working on volume 3.

First things first: If there is a similar story idea out there, no matter if it's another WaCa FanFiction or another book, it's a coincidence! I have planned most things a long time ago and I didn't take inspiration from other stories, so please don't say I steal ideas XD. Just in case.

***I just realised that I've called "seasons" "leaf-changes" throughout the whole story. I could've sworn this term is used in the English books 🤔. But I absolutely don't feel like looking for all the scenes with that word and change it, so just keep that in mind.

This book also includes a so-called bonus book, in which scenes that could not be included here are listed. At the end of some chapters there may be a note indicating whether there is a bonus chapter for the previous event. You can find more detailed information in the preface of the bonus book itself. It's not mandatory to read them, though.

Don't be put off by the mass of cats. It's just because I desperately try to avoid incest (there is enough of it in the original series *coughcough*)

I hope you'll have fun reading it!!! I would be very pleased to receive comments and don't be afraid to ask questions if you don't understand or have forgotten something. And comment everything that's going through your mind, opinions of the characters and stories, theories and so on. I will try to answer your comments as soon as possible.

Also, please keep in mind that I started writing this book for fun, so without a set plan. This means that there will be plot holes, logic errors, etc. I put my heart and soul into it, but I suppose you'll notice that I'm a beginner and this series starts pretty weak, in my opinion. Like there's not really action, it's just a bit mysterious and that's it.

BUT I think it's getting better with each book (even though they still have some small weaknesses) and if you keep on reading, you'll look back on the events of volume 1 and think to yourself: Wow, this really took a turn!

●●●Warning: Due to it being a Warriors FanFiction, there might be some mentions of violence, blood, battles and death. In this book, there won't be any battles, but very few "accidents". However, they won't be described detailed.

Things will change in the following volumes, though, and it might happen that those scenes are more detailed. Not in an 18+ gorey way, but still kind of intense(?) I'd say it's on around the same level as in the original books.  

●●This FanFiction season will include somewhat sporadic mentions or portrayals of sapphic (female × female) relationships in the second half of the series and a big focus on aromanticism in the whole series. (I just wanted to point that out, in case someone has a problem with it •_•)••

(That means if you've always wanted to read a warrior cats fanfiction with a main character who is not interested in getting a romantic mate and who does not want kits (ever!) this is the series for you! Seriously, Lark is one of those characters who says, "I'll never fall in love!" and sticks to it.)

The head comes from the materials department and the template is called Cat Face. The background is called Mushroom Forest 01. For the lettering, I took a private photo of a book and traced it.

(Not that people want to steal the exact design of the cover (there's a 0.00001 % chance of that happening, though), but I want and should give proper credits).
