Ame's Pov

We were back at the guild, Juliet was talking to her husband- Kenneth, Jolie was helping Mira-san at the bar, Celeste was watching over Daniel who was playing with Lucy-san and Natsu-san. Then there's me, thinking about the last encounter. Did he keep his word? Does he still love me? Do—

My thoughts were interrupted by the guild doors opening. "We're back!" An all too familiar voice said.

I looked up to see the four idiots who left, I gasped and looked around. Celeste was frozen in place frantically looking back at Daniel, my parents, her parents, and Kōri. Juliet was being held back by Kenneth and giving them a glare that could kill. Jolie- well umm... she had that one face she has when she over thinks; her lips are slightly apart, her eyes get wider, and you can tell she's hyperventilating.

I on the other hand was avoiding eye contact with Niko, but I did do one thing. I went up to Kōri.

SLAP.

"YOU F—KING DUMBA*S STRIPPER. I SWEAR TO MAVIS I—"

I was quickly interrupted by someone hugging me. I turn to face the person and my breath hitches.

"Niko- what are you- mm!"

I was about to ask him what he was doing, but he quickly cut me off with a kiss. I gave in and kissed back, his hands were on my waist while my arms were around his neck.

"OH MY GOD. NIME IS CANNON!" Jolie screamed.

The whole guild groaned, I heard the occasional, "Not this s—t again." And, "So younger Jolie decided to come back?"

I smiled and broke off the kiss, Niko grinned at me. "Ame, I've had a crush on you ever since we were kids. When I saw you in that arena, I swear I fell for you again. Ame Lockser Fullbuster, will you give this idiot a chance and be my girlfriend?"

I gasp and hug him. "Stupid! A million times yes!" I replied. The whole guild cheered, Laxus-san had to keep Mira-san and Jolie up because they both fainted from fangirling. Sometimes I wonder if they're mother and daughter.

Celeste's Pov

So... Nime is cannon. I looked around the room and saw Kōri staring at me, I awkwardly smiled and waved, he did the same. I called Daniel over and held him close to me as I watched him draw on some paper Jolie gave him, Kōri walked up to me and tapped me on the shoulder.

"Celeste, can we talk?" He asked. I reluctantly nodded my head and sent Daniel over to Jolie who was done with her shift at the bar and scanning over the request board.

Kōri and I sat in silence for a while, so I decided to break it. "So... what's up?" I said.

He looked at me in the eye. "Who's the father?"

I sighed and looked away. "Well, Daniel is five years old and if you look at his hair..." I began to say.

"...It's the same color as mine. I got you pregnant before we had an argument, didn't I?" He continued.

I let out a dry laugh, "Yeah, you sure did. I understand that it's been five years, if you don't love me—"

Kōri cut me off by kissing me. He pulled away and smiled, "Don't say that ever again. I thought about you every day while training, I wanted to get stronger so that I could protect you. Celeste, I love you. Can I please meet my son?"

I smile and call Daniel over. Oh my Mavis, the man will be the death on me.

Jolie's Pov

After scanning over the request board, I decided to take a job that needed someone to help at a hospital to heal patients. Usually, I'd ask Piper if she wanted to come on jobs with me. She is my apprentice after all, but she's nowhere in sight. I take the paper and make my way over towards the bar.

Darren's Pov

Well this is a little awkward. Man, when I tell you how hard it was to not just take Jolie at the restaurant- I mean, she got more pretty than she already was.

"Mira-san~! I'm going on a job!" Jolie said as she walked up to the bar. She showed my mom the flyer. "Be careful Jolie!" My mom replied.

"Jolie wa-!" I started to say, but she was already gone. I sighed and turned back to look at my mom who gave me some water.

"Go after her," my mom said.

"But mom-"

"You still love her, right?" She asked.

"Of course. I've thought about her all those five years..."

"Then follow her and talk to her," my mom recommended. I simply nodded and ran after Jolie.

Piper's Pov

You were probably wondering where I was, huh? I couldn't look at him, I was too hard. So, I went outside to get some air. I played around with my magic as I enjoyed the view of the sunset, I was until I heard his voice.

"It's nice being back."

I immediately went stiff, I didn't turn to face him either.

"Why are you out here?" I asked,

I heard his footsteps get closer until he hugged me from behind, I wanted to push him away, but a part of me told me to let him hold me.

Still, I attempted to break free from his grasp, but he wouldn't let me. "Let me stay here a little bit longer..." he said, "I missed this."

I let out a sigh. "Kai, we broke up years ago. Please remember that you're the one who left, not me. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go find Jolie," I reminded him.

He let out a defeated sigh, he let me go, but grabbed my hand. "I'm sorry..." he said a little above a whisper.

Jolie's Pov

I was on my way to Aster City, but I was dragged into an alleyway and pinned to the wall. I was about to scream, but I looked up and saw who it was. Darren.

"Darren, let go of me," I demanded.

"Not so fast princess," he whispered. His face was dangerously close to mine, I avoided eye contact. I mean, this is my ex we're talking about.

"Darren. I have a job to go to. I'm uncomfortable and I'd like for you to let me go," I calmly asked.

He stroked my cheek and smirked, "Come on, it's been five years. Can't we go back to how it used to be?"

He leaned in and almost kissed me, but I used my territory magic to get him off. I took in a deep breath and sighed, "I'm sorry, I can't. We broke up and you left without saying a word. I told myself that I'm never falling in love again, and I intend on keeping my word."

With that, I made my way over to the train station. Don't do it Jolie, you'll get hurt again.
