CHAPTER TWO - STUCK IN THE PAST, PART 2

𝓣𝙰𝙽𝙽𝙴𝚁

GREAT. I WAS STUCK IN a random place I didn't even know. I decided to take a look around. I looked at myself and realized that I wasn't wearing white anymore, but a purple flannel. "Purple is not my favorite color..." I think to myself. I continued walking and finally found a sign that said 'Welcome to Reefside.' I walked around town and find a place called 'Hayley's Cyberspace.' I walked in and looked around.

I guessed it was like a cafe. I sat down at a table and put my hands in my pockets. "Everyone back home is probably worried about me. Man, I'm gonna get so fired for this." I thought. I looked up to see three teenagers looking at me. "And why are they staring at me like that?" I wondered.

Finally, all three of them stood up and walked over to me. "Hey, I'm Conner and this is Kira and Ethan." The teen in the red introduced himself also pointing to the girl in yellow and the boy in blue. "Tanner." I said. All of us went silent for a moment.

"We haven't seen you around here before. Are you new?" Kira asked. I chuckled. "I guess you can say that." I replied. That's when I heard a beep. "We gotta go. But maybe we can hang out sometime?" Conner said. I nodded. "Sure." I replied. I watched as the three of them walked out of Hayley's Cyberspace. I got up from where I was sitting and decided to follow them.

I finally arrived at the scene where Conner, Kira, and Ethan were. They were facing a guy in armor. "You guys ready?" Conner asked. "Ready." Kira and Ethan replied. I saw what looked like a morpher appear. "They're...Power Rangers?" I think to myself. "Dino Thunder. Power up! HA!" All three of them said. A minute later they were dressed in suits and helmets.

The same three people that I saw earlier that day when I arrived. They began fighting as I watched them. "I wonder if there's some way I can help them..." I wondered. Then I chuckled to myself. What was the point of asking myself that? My powers were gone. But then again, this was the past. So maybe my powers would still be with me.

I got out my morpher. I didn't want them to know I was a Power Ranger just yet. But I knew I had to do something. I came out of my hiding space and started fighting the monster. "Tanner what are you doing?" Conner asked. "What do you think I'm doing? I'm helping you!" I answered. "Another Ranger?" Zeltrax guessed. I chuckled.

"You're dealing with a Ranger from the future." I informed and continued fighting him until he disappeared into one of those portals. Conner, Ethan, and Kira ran up to me. "When did you learn to fight like that?" Kira asked. "Yeah, some of those were Ranger moves." Ethan said. "It was like your a natural at it." Conner added. "He has no clue how right he is..." I thought. I shrugged. "It's no big deal, really." I said, shrugging it off.

We walked back to Hayley's Cyberspace. "Still can't believe you guys are Power Rangers..." I said. Conner chuckled. "You better believe it." He informed. I looked out the window, thinking about how things were back home.

Did Xander and the others notice I was gone and told Udonna?

Did my sister even care that I was missing?

"Hey, Tanner..." I looked up to see Kira talking to me. "Yeah?" I answered. "Are you okay? You seem lost in thought..." Conner said. I nodded. "Yeah I'm fine. Just thinking about things." I said. Conner just nodded.

"Maybe being stuck in the past won't be so bad after all..." I think to myself.

A/N: Sorry that this chapter was so late. I planned on getting it out sooner than this, but that didn't happen. The next chapter Tanner finds the purple dino gem.
