"Did something happen?" He asked her as his jaw was literally ready to fall down. She needed to conceal the truth from him cause she didn't want to concern him. He is already too far away from her and she doesn't want to pressure him about it.

"Of course not! I-I... Just needed my space... I am a girl! I-It's hard living with a boy..." She scratched the back of her neck timidly as his eyes were staring down, avoiding the intense eye contact.

"Oh! Okay!" Jihoon was way to cool with his responses, taking her out of the awkward spot she was in.

"So... Where is your... boyfriend?" He started winking playfully. At this moment Soonie remembered something she was trying to forget.

Right! Jihoon came for a visit to approve if Joshua is right for her. Okay, she needs to hide this as well! Damn, too many secrets...

"Oh! He... Um... He is at college... He is having a lesson probably haha..." She acted comfortably cool just to prove nothing is going on with her life... But that was not true...

"I can't believe he is a nerd as well!" He giggled.  "How do you know that?" Soon-hee asked while her eyebrows narrowed. "C'mon... You even ditched a class when he is at college... He is in a worst condition than you..." Jihoon laid against the wall. 

"No No... Joshua is not a nerd..." She whispered staring at her two palms. Thinking of Joshua is a torture for her at the moment. All this pain is so hard to handle. Maybe because he was the only person in her life she thought she had at such a hard time. Maybe because he was her first love... Maybe...

"Mmhm I really wanna meet him..." Jihoon smirked. Soonie really was trying to avoid this meeting. They broke up but if she admits it Jihoon will gett worried.

"About that..."

"What?" He asked unaware of her next sentence. "Well, He is... Kinda busy today! Yeah that's it! It might be hard because of his ... Busy schedule!" She lied, totally unaware that from the moment Jihoon entered her house she bites her lips uncontrollably.

"Oh... Busy... Okay... Tomorrow... Or the day after that... I can wait..." He had this smile the girl couldn't quite read. Is he happy? Is he suspicious?

"Y-Yeah... Tomorrow... O-Or the day after that..." She uncomfortably looked down.  What is she going to do? She doesn't have a Joshua to show to her brother! Dang it...

"Now tell me... Do you like him a lot!?" He winked and the girl snorted. "Jihoon shut up! I am not going to answer that..." She crossed her arms.

"Tell meeeeee..." He acted like a baby but she was not even a little moved by his aegyo.

"We are never talking about love stuff!!!!" She blushed. "Cause you never had those..." He teased her and the girl grabbed a pillow, throwing it at his fiercely.  He caught it and brushed it onto the bed.

"Fine Fine... Its obvious anyway!" He retorted. "W-What do you mean?" She asked unaware of what he implied.

"It's written in your face... You love him, don't you?" He asked and the girl gulped. No! She hates him! She hates him so much...

"Can we change the subject?" She asked hugging one of her pillows. Jihoon smiled while getting up. "Of course we can!" He kissed the top of her head tenderly and took a step away. "I am going to the bathroom..." He informed her and the girl nodded staring at him invading the restroom.

Finally, she was alone she her fake smile faded away. Why is she like that? What is she going to do now? Her life got worst within a day and she is not able to control this.

Why did he betray her? There must be a reason! Is he still in love with Lisa? She is never gonna trust him again!

"Never..." She whispered believing she is alone. Suddenly she heard a knock on the door. She was zoned out not even thinking twice before getting up and finally opening the door.

Her face dropped as soon as she faced the one she was hoping she can erase from her memory.

"Please, Let me explain..." He whispered. It was obvious he was having a hard time.

"Leave Joshua..." She whispered back staring at her feet. She could not find strength to fight with him, especially when his brother was in the bathroom.

"Please Soonie... I made a mistake... But I can't lose you..."

"I guess you can..." She coldly said and the boy was in the urge of tearing up. "But... I don't want to..." He stuttered and at the exact same moment he teared up.  The girl was fighting with herself to keep her tears in.

"It's too late now Joshua... I am sorry... Can you leave now?" She crossed her arms trying not burst out in loud sobs. "B-But I can see it in your eyes..." He said and attempted to touch her cheek. She titled her head so he wouldn't be able to touch it.

He took the memo.

"Take this..." He said and took an envelope off from his bag. "I don't n-" She was about to say something but he interrupted it.

"No... You decided to end this... I will decide how it will end... That's the way it will..." He said and gave her the envelope.

"Goodbye Soonie... I will never annoy you again!" He said trying to conceal how mad he was. He disappeared from her door like he never was there. The girl teared up as she felt this horrible pains in her heart.

"Are you okay?" She heard Jihoon bihind of her. She immediatly wiped the tear off and hid the envelope behind her back while titling around.

"I am!" She smiled and Jihoon scoffed. "Am I that bad of a brother to you?" He askef and the girl narrowed her eyebrows while properly closing the door.

"What do you mean?" She asked, approaching him. "You are no longer friends with Minghao and you hid it away from me... You broke up with Joshua and still told me nothing... Don't you trust me?" He asked and the girl almost gulped.

"H-How do you know?" She asked and the boy scoffed. "I literally heard your conversation! And I literally read Hao's eyes... Something is wrong!" He announced and the girl put the envelope in a drawer before answering.

"Jihoon I am so sorry... I know that I should tell you..." The boy grabbed her hand and placed her on the bed. "Why did you hide all these things from me?"

"I didnt want to concern you... You were busy... I-"

"I will never be busy when it comes to my sister. Are you kidding me?" He grasped both of her hands and deeply glared into her eyes.

"I am so sorry... I really am..."

"Do you wanna tell me what happened? Everything this time!" He gave her some space for her to think and she nodded giving up. Finally she told everythjng yo her brother. She even cried in his embrace. It actually felt better saying everything to him.

"So what's in the envelope..."

"I haven't open it yet..."

"What are you waiting for?" He asked. "I am not ready yet..." She whispered not even looking at him. "You are going through so much and never said anything?" He asked and the girl sniffed hard while tears were adjourning from her eyes heavily.

"I don't know what to do Jihoon... I am a mess..." She was crying like a baby. Her brother hugged her tightly trying to sooth her as much as he could.

"Shhhh... Listen... I have an idea..." He broke the hug to cup her face. "W-what?" She asked unaware with those puffy cheeks and the red nose.

"You are going to take a warm bath and I will go to this convenient shop near by to buy us some Ice cream..." He patted her head tenderly. "Okay?" He asked and the girl nodded. "Fine..."

And that's what actually happened. Soon-hee went to the bathroom and Jihoon grabbed her keys before leaving so he could enter once he is back.

He walked into the convenient store, picked some nice flavors for his sister and paid for the ice cream.

Once he was about to get out, the doors slid open and he almost fell onto a man. His eyes slowly looked up only to face a familiar face. Joshua? He thought to himself. The man in front of him seemed like he knew who he was. Soonie must have shown Jihoon to Joshua somehow... Maybe he saw him on the wall were she had pictures with everybody she loved.

"Joshua, Right?" Jihoon asked scanning him from head to toe. Joshua bowed although he was party shaking by anxiety.

"Jihoon! Soonie's brother..." He announced and Jihoon smiled. "I am so glad to meet you..." Joshua bowed again reassuring him he was glad they finally met.

"Are you really?" Jihoon asked while this smile was still plastered on his face. "I- What do you mean?" He asked perplexed.

"I think... That you and me have to talk..." He said and Joshua gulped afraid. "We should..." Joshua whispered actually agreeing with him.

"So... Do you wanna sit here? Or go somewhere else..." Jihoon asked shifting glancies all around. "Lets talk... In here..." He said and spotted some tables in the corner of the convenient store.

Jihoon led him to a table and they both sat down starting their conversation.
