3RD PERSON POV

Nearing midnight in the Kibutsuji household, everyone was fast asleep. Muzan's parents in one room, Muzan and his new six-eyed... companion..? In another, with the rest of the house being unoccupied.

Unoccupied...?

Muzan heard russeting coming from the kitchen/dining area, causing him to wake up. After listening for a minute or so, he deemed that the sounds definitely weren't normal. So, he decided to grab the porcelain samurai that laid next to him, and attempt to wake him. He started by shaking him, and when that didn't work, he tried pushing the button on the back of his neck a few times.

"Come on, wakey wakey..!" He whispered, still messing with the button.

"...Huh..? Muzan..? Is everything.. alright..?" He said as his systems started to boot up.

"I don't know." Muzan replied. "Do you hear those weird sounds coming from the kitchen?" Kokushibo listened for a moment.

"I hear sounds... yes..."

"Can you come with me to check it out?" He asked.

"Of course..." With that, the pair made their way to the kitchen. Muzan was mostly leading Kokushibo, as he was unfamiliar with the house's layout, but Muzan still felt more comfortable with him there. As they walked into the kitchen, they were met with an unsightly view.... their kitchen has become infested with rats!!

"EWWW WHAT THE FUCK..!!?!????" Muzan whisper-shouted.

"...uh..." ..After a moment of silence from the both of them, Muzan asked,

"Kokushibo, could you possibly take care of those things for me?"

"Take care..? I thought we did not like-"

"I mean, kill them. Please."

"Oh, ...yes, I can do that..!" Kokushibo then unsheathed his sword, and started Making quick work of the rats. That was, until a portion of the remaining rats... fused!?!!? Both Kokushibo and Muzan were shocked, and at the sight of it, Kokushibo jumped back to be standing next to Muzan. They seemed to have formed some sort of rat.. king..? Queen...? Ruler...? They had no idea. (Don't ask me how this works, it's needed for plot.)

"What.. do I do.. with it...?!?!" Kokushibo asked.

"Can you kill this one too!!??" The both of them were getting worried.

"I.. guess I can.." Kokushibo drew his sword again, and engaged with the rat ruler thingy. Somehow, in the short span of their conversation, the rat ruler had acquired a sword. Or maybe it came with it? Kokushibo didn't know. Apparently, it had also had some previous experience with combat, as it had managed to dodge Kokushibo's first few attacks. This is when he decided to quickly change the settings on his sword, allowing him to become faster and have attacks that are more complex than party tricks.

He dialed the settings up to the second to highest level, as he wanted to defeat the rodent quickly. And he did. After a few more attacks, he stabbed the rat ruler in it's heart, causing it's body to fall and the rats that didn't fuse to ca rry it to what Muzan and Kokushibo hoped to be outside. Kokushibo then went to the sink to clean off whatever substances the rats could have left on his sword, sheathed it, and went back to Muzan.

"That was hot." He said. Kokushibo titled his head to the side. "As in, attractive. " He explained.

"Mm..." Kokushibo nodded. "..What do... we do now...?" He asked, subconsciously changing the subject because he didn't know how to respond.

"Go back to sleep, I suppose."

"Kay.." The two of them started to head back to Muzan's room. As they walked, Muzan grasped onto Kokushibo's hand and leaned against his arm. Kokushibo didn't mind this. He think he liked it, actually. Was this what Muzan was referring to, 'attraction'? He didn't know. He did know, however, that he liked Muzan's presence.

When they made it to bed, Kokushibo was yet again pleasantly surprised when Muzan pulled them close after they laid down. He could almost feel Muzan's warmth.

"Goodnight, Kokushibo."

"Goodnight, ...Muzan." He replied. Muzan then moved his hands behind Kokushibo's neck to press his sleep button, and the pair drifted off to sleep together.

---

Muzan and Kokushibo found themselves in a snowy forest.

"Huh...?" Kokushibo questioned. "Where.. are we...?" He had never been in an environment like this before.

"It seems that we're in a forest... I have no idea how we ended up here, though..." As they stood there together, Muzan realized that despite being in the snow, he wasn't exactly cold... weird. He didn't have time to utter that realization aloud, or even contemplate it, because a sleigh led by two reindeer, decorated with snowflakes, icicles, and bells all over. Riding in it, was an.. ice person...?

"Hello..?" Muzan called out, him and Kokushibo inching closer to each other.

"Greetings, travelers." The person said.

"Who... are you...?" Kokushibo quietly inquired.

"I am one of many ice sculptures on patrol. I assume you two are lost?"

"Yes, that would be correct." Muzan replied.

"Alright.." It seemed as if the ice person thought for a moment. "Take this sleigh and see the Ice King. I'm sure he will be able to do something for you."

"Alright, Thank you...." Muzan realized that they had no choice but to trust this person. He was skeptical, but they were in a realm that they had no idea of, so it was just best to take the chance. He and Kokushibo stayed close as the boarded the sleigh, hoping that they would actually get somewhere.

As the ice person grew out of earshot, Muzan spoke to Kokushibo.

"Do you think that this Ice King guy will actually be useful?"

"I do not.. know.. I hope so, ...but one cannot be sure..."

"Yeah, I was thinking the same. .... At least we're together."

"Yeah.."

As they rode on the sleigh, they passed by many different types of snow/ice people. There were snowflurries, all different kinds of snowflakes, as well as small and large icicles. All of them seemed to be dancing and singing. It wasn't a bad experience, truthfully. While they were both still skeptical, they decided to at least try to enjoy the moment.

"Do you think we're getting closer to that Ice guy? The place seems to be getting fancier."

"I would.. hope so.. we have been.. on this vehicle.. for quite some time now..."

"Yeah.."

Just then, as they were discussing, a gust of cold wind surrounded them and a silhouette stood in front of them on the sleigh. They both flinched,  inching closer to each other for 'protection'.

"Hello~! You must be the travelers that the mini-me reported of~" The figure revealed themself to be was tall, platinum blonde, and they seemed seemed to have ice powers.

"Who are you now!?" Muzan questioned, agitated by the surprise arrival of this person.

"Oh, excuse my manners, I forgot to introduce myself! I'm the King of the Ice Paradise Realm, Douma~!"

"Okay...." Kokushibo responded as Muzan grimmaced.

'Great, an overly friendly moron...' Muzan thought.

"So, you two are lost, correct?" He asked.

"Yes, that's correct." Muzan tried to mask his annoyance.

"Alright!" He said cheerily, then thought about what to do with them. "Hmm... Let's see.. Ah! I know, I will send you to the realm of my beloved sugar plum and flower fairies, they're sure to be of more help to you there~!"

"Okay, thanks."

"Yes, ...thank you.."

"It's no trouble, really! I love making friends with travelers!" He then conjured a cloud, and gestured for the pair to step into it. They cautiously obliged, but soon realized that it was at least safe enough to hold them. As soon as they got on, the cloud started flying up, and the Ice King guy waved goodbye. As soon as he was out of earshot, Muzan said to Kokushibo;

"Bet you a kiss that those 'beloved' people he was talking about don't actually love him."

"'Bet you a kiss'...? What does that mean...?"

"It means that if the people he was talking about don't actually love him, you have to kiss me. On the mouth."

"Oh.. Okay..." Kokushibo wasn't exactly sure what he was feeling. He wasn't repulsed or made uncomfortable by the thought of doing that with Muzan, though. He was quickly growing into his emotional programing, even though he still wasn't, and doubted that he ever would be, great at expressing/understanding his feelings.

I lied I'm going to put this into three parts because I'm tired and want something to do tomorrow.
