A/N: A HUGE HUGE THANK YOU TO YOU GUYS FOR LETTING ME REACH 750K right on my birthday yesterday you guys are amazing and this is the best present anyone could ask for!!!
P.S: Okay the bad news that I have is that I'm going to be on another, longer hiatus this round starting from the 16th of October allll the way up to the 14th of November due to my IGCSE exams so there will be no updates from me around that time. Having said that, I will still be taking requests to write but I will be writing them right after my hiatus! I hope that you guys'll be able to wait for me and I promise to be back as soon as I can! Never forget that your support means so much to me!
Q: Do you think that everybody could read your story and be like 'Yeah that's me'?
A: To answer this question, I realise of course that as the number of my readers began to grow, I knew that I would not be able to write in a way that ALL of you could relate. For example: physical characteristics such as height and hair. I've had people under my comments in particular when it comes to hair because I often describe (Y/N) as having around shoulder-length to long hair and I realise that NOT ALL GIRLS have that. I have nothing against that, but I try to go with the stereotype, seeing as that is the easiest for everyone to imagine and sometimes I base the characters off of myself as, so no, I don't think that EVERYBODY can relate to my stories but I hope that nevertheless, my stories help make you smile anyway, and I duly apologise to the people that may sometimes not fit the characteristics or understand the circumstances that surround my writing.

............................................................................................................................
You drove and drove and drove until you realised that the gauge indicating your fuel was dangerously low, the arrow tipping into the red zone. Pulling up to a sidewalk, you turned off the engine and leaned your head against the steering wheel, tears still not completely dry, your eyes still red and raw from crying.
You realised with a falling heart, that you had nowhere to go, no other options except to check into a hotel and stay for the night or sleep in the car and hopefully find a temporary place tomorrow. You knew your best friend had a place in Gangnam but it was so far from where you currently were and with the fumes you were running on, you would never be able to make it unless you wanted to get someone to tow your truck in the middle of the night.
Sighing, you were actually debating to spend the night in the car when your phone buzzed alerting you to a text.
Mark: Come home... please.
Mark: It's late and I don't like the thought of you driving around this dark
Mark: We can talk about this tomorrow
Mark: I can even sleep on the couch... just come home
Mark: please
You sighed, reading all of the messages from him. That was it, you decided to yourself, blocking his number before tossing your phone into the backseat, leaning your seat back, in an attempt to get comfortable, although you missed the warmth of the person usually beside you. Fortunately, crying had always tired you out, so you slipped into a dreamless sleep, still missing his arms around you.
Narrator POV
JYP Building
Rumours and whispers were abound everytime Chora stepped into the room, even her closest friend was glaring at her from the other side of the practise.
What the hell she thought to herself as she looked around, everyone either seemed to be ignoring her, glaring at her or on their phones and then glaring at her. It was a confusing and irritating cycle.
Trainee Chora to GOT7's training room please
A voice announced over the intercom. Her heart leapt into her throat as the whispers somehow managed to grow louder as she left the practise room after a hurried apology to the dance teacher, taking the lift up to the 3rd floor where GOT7's training rooms were. As people watched her head in that direction, some rolled their eyes and some gave her such nasty looks, it would have been like she ran over their dog this morning.
Knocking gently before entering, her eyes darted around the room before her ears captured the roaring voice that was coming from the middle of the room.
JB of GOT7 stood there, shouting at a hunched figure, his eyes livid.
'JB,' Jinyoung hissed, elbowing their leader in the side nodding to her before turning away to mutter something in Jackson's ear whose scowl deepened.
'Kim Chora?" Jaebum snapped as she nodded meekly, wondering what she had done to incur his wrath.
'I understand that it might be quite confusing for you now, but I'd like to talk to you,' he sighed, rubbing the back of his neck tiredly, pacing the room up and down.
'Have you checked Naver this morning?" Jinyoung cut in, seeing as Jaebum was too incensed to say anything else.
'I-no, actually, I forgot to charge my phone and-,' she stuttered as Jinyoung showed her an article.
'GOT7's Mark Dating Mysterious Girl?' she said it aloud to herself, finally figuring out who was the one being lambasted by JB.
'Hey Chora,' he said non-chalantly.
'So.... both of you know each other?" Bam Bam asked, as he joined the fray.
'Yeah sure, Mark and I... know each other,' she admitted as he grunted, acknowledging.
'And what's going on between both of you?" Yugyeom prodded.
'Nothing, nothing,' she said immediately, actually backing away, she was so threatened by the question.
'Well then?' JB snapped slightly, impatient.
'I'm just a trainee and-,' she trailed off unable to continue.
'I was the one who got her in JYP,' Mark continued, clearly guessing that she was in an uncomfortable situation.
'What?!" Jinyoung turned around to stare wide-eyed at the eldest member.
'Do you remember that time when Stray Kids had their busking event?" Mark asked and the rest nodded.
'Yeah JYP asked me to head down to judge, but I had to keep a low profile since I wasn't supposed to be in the programme as one of the 'official judges',' he air-quoted.
'You were there too?" Youngjae enquired out of the blue as everyone started, turning to look at both of them.
An awkward silence enveloped the room before JB broke it.
'That aside,' he waved away the information. 'So, Mark you were at the busking event and?'
'I came across Chora doing a cover of one of our songs... To Star,' he recollected after a while. 'She seemed really good so I went up and talked to her and gave her JYP's information just in case she was ever interested in joining... and lo and behold I find her in the company the next month, registered as a new trainee,' he smiled weakly, nodding at her once.
'And the whole, I'm suddenly dating Chora news came out of nowhere then?' Jackson grumbled. 'I nearly dropped the phone when I was watching the live, I thought you were together with...' he glanced at the trainee nervously before shutting his mouth.
'Me? Dating him?" she said in such a way that made everyone burst into laughter easing some of the tension.
'I'm HURT,' Mark glared at her as she put her hands up.
'Sorry dude, not my type,' she shrugged.
'Mark Tuan just got dude-zoned, OUCH,' Bam Bam piped up as Mark gave her the most offended look in his life.
'Not your type?" he asked aghast.
'I'm sorry Mark, I mean you're attractive and all but I'm guessing this is the first time you're being told you aren't someone's type,' she said apologetically actually reaching up to pat his shoulder as he moved it away, scowling.
'I regret getting you into JYP now,' he grumbled sinking into the couch waiting for the mirth at his expense to be over.
'All jokes aside, thank you Chora for the clarification, you can go now,' JB said sternly, focusing his attention back on the eldest member.
'Oh no no no,' she insisted as the entire group looked at her as if she had gone mad.
Had she just said no to JB?
'If I'm somehow involved in this I want to know what's going on,' she literally and figuratively put her foot down.
'Okay fine,' Jackson threw his hands up in the air seeing as they weren't able to get ready of her, JB still aghast staring at her as if she had come from another universe. 'Basically, this idiot here,' he said it affectionately, punching Mark lightly on the top of the arm. 'Did a Vlive yesterday night and one of the fans asked whether he was seeing anyone, and he for some ridiculous reason said you,' Jackson concluded as her glare at Mark intensified.
'Okay to explain myself,' Mark burst out. 'I used Chora as a sort of test-run, I knew she wouldn't mind and that the news would die down eventually, I just wanted to see the fans' reaction to me dating someone,' he explained.
'I don't mind but the thing is, if I debut in the next 3 years, my image is going to be screwed,' she exclaimed, wondering what her career prospects looked like suddenly.
'That's... not going to happen,' Mark muttered, looking down.
'And that is because?' she demanded to know hands on her hips as the rest of GOT7 took several steps back watching the drama unfold.
'I'd have announced my relationship already, my actual one,' he sighed, sitting on the couch at the mere mention of (Y/N).
'Hold on, so you're actually dating someone... you used me as a test run... you're going to fake breakup with me and then you're going to announce the real relationship somewhere in the near future?" she put it all in context.
'Basically, yes,' Mark nodded.
'So, assuming that the publicity isn't the problem... what is?"
'The girl I was dating... she was watching the live,' Mark admitted, as he buried his head in his arms, groans muffled by his sweater.
Understanding dawned over Chora as the puzzle pieces fell into place, revealing a very very messed up situation that she somehow found herself mixed in.
'I don't know where she is now, I begged her to come back home but...' Mark shrugged, helpless.
'She'll turn up eventually,' Bam patted the older member's arm reassuringly.
'But I need to find her and explain things NOW,' he insisted. 'I can't even call her, she blocked my number,' he growled in frustration.
'Why don't you just let me talk to her?" Chora volunteered as the whole room turned silent again. 'What? It's the most logical thing, she doesn't want to talk you but I'm pretty sure she would want to talk to me, in fact I'm kind of scared she'll do more than just talk,' she realised grimacing.
'Knowing (Y/N), she wouldn't do that,' Mark said aloud mostly to himself and everybody could note the tinge of wistfulness in his voice when he mentioned her name.
'Fine, it's settled, I'll talk to her and get this mess straightened out,' Chora concluded, about to leave the room when she realised that she didn't know where the hell to start looking much less what the girl looked like.
'Umm, I'm gonna kinda need a picture of her,' she said awkwardly as Mark merely showed her his lock screen which was a picture of you on your one year anniversary.
'Wow she's pretty, how did she end up with someone like you I have no idea,' Chora shook her head as she felt her hair tugged back playfully.
'Shut it,' Mark teased as she glared at him.
'She has a best friend in Gangnam so she might be living there temporarily now, here's the address,' Mark scrawled it on a piece of paper before handing it to her.
'If this address is wrong...' she trailed off threatening.
'I don't play around when it comes to my girl,' Mark said as seriously as he had ever been and Chora sighed, clutching the piece of paper to her fist before leaving the practise room, worried about what she would find there.
Your POV
'Jesus,' your best friend cursed as you slumped on her couch, recollecting the entire experience, could it have just been yesterday?
Yesterday night, it turns out you HAD slept in the car, your eyes puffy and raw the next morning when you were awoken by your shrill ringtone. It turned out that (BFF/N) had read the news that was circulating on Naver and had immediately called you, demanding to know where you were, what you were doing, to stay put and not do anything stupid and that she would come and get you in 15 minutes.
You were forced to call a tow truck to get your car and (BFF/N) helped you into the car with your meager belongings, most of your stuff was still back at Mark's place.
Reaching her apartment in Gangnam, she immediately deposited you on the couch, you were too weak to do much else as she made you cup of hot strong tea, coaxing it into you sip by sip, you were slowly coming alive by the time the cup was half empty.
Then, you slowly let everything pour out of you, from the discovery to what you did yesterday night, even the texts that he had sent you the night before.
'I don't know what to say (Y/N),' she sighed apologetically, getting up to help you make another cup of tea.
'Just... let me stay here until I find another place, please?" you begged as she nodded her head.
'Of course dummy, what you need now is some good girl-and-girl time,' she grinned, pushing another cup into your hands, the warm ceramic heating your cold fingers.
'Have you talked to him? At all?" she enquired, turning your phone round and round in her hands, as she turned it on and off, flashing your lockscreen of him, every 5 minutes, which somehow made you even sadder.
'No, I just left... I mean I was just shocked and then he came out and then...' it was a mistake thinking of him again, because you burst into tears as your best friend wrapped her arms around you, strong and warm as she stroked your hair.
'I don't know, I miss him but I don't know what to feel, if he's been seeing this girl behind my back...' you trailed off unable to continue as more sobs choked your throat.
'Then he was never worth it,' (BFF/N) said firmly, grasping your shoulders. 'If it turns out they really are dating then screw him, you deserve better and if it isn't then if he comes and tries to explain.... don't shut him out, I've never seen you being as happy as when you're with him, I don't think you should let him go just yet,' she said, patting your back as your tears stained her light tee.
The moment her speech ended the doorbell rang through out the small apartment, indicating that someone was at the door.
'I swear to God if that's him, I'm selling the house,' (BFF/N), muttered as she unwrapped herself from around you and went to get the door.
Getting to your feet, you really wanted to see whether it was Mark or not, but you being the coward you were hid behind (BFF/N)'s back as she went to open the door.
As the door yawned open, you came face to face with a young girl perhaps 3-4 years your junior, with long hair and serious dark eyes, her lips set into a thin line.
'Hey,' she said, her voice a slow monotone.
'Uh huhhh, hello to you too,' (BFF/N) said as she was about to close the door before the mystery girl held it, preventing her from closing it in her face.
'I'm here to see (Y/N),' she informed and your head popped out from behind your best friend.
'That's me,' you croaked out, coming out into the doorway.
She took a deep breath before letting it out in a heavy gust.
'Hi there (Y/N), I'm Chora,' she sighed as your heart fell to your shoes. 'I think we have some serious talking to do,'
