(A/N: For those who have put in their requests, it's going to take me some time to make them all as I suddenly got quite an influx from a few people (also, I just finished my exams and still have some editing stuff to do for my school newspaper) but I promise that I'm working on them and I'll get them up as soon as I possibly can. Also, don't hesitate if you want to come up and request something from me, my DMs are always open and I'm always welcome to suggestions from you guys)

jinyoung as boyfriend

................................................................................................................................................................

'(Y/N L/N),' your full name reverberated through the classroom as the school secretary called for you via the PA system. 'Mrs Kim would like to see you in her office,' a crackly, female voice announced before falling silent, which was quickly followed by a chorus of whispers and 'OOOO's from your classmates as they sneaked glances at you, wondering what you possibly could have done, to have to be called to the discipline teacher's office.

'Are you in trouble?' your boyfriend, leaned forward, tapping your shoulder as you were about to leave your seat, his expression sweet and concerned. His dark hair fell into his eyes, before he brushed it away impatiently, waiting for your answer.

'Don't worry Jinyoung,' you reassured him briefly, flashing him a quick smile. 'Save me a seat at lunch okay?' you asked, taking his hand, squeezing it tightly, before exiting the classroom amidst the sea of whispering students.

The school hallway was fortunately completely empty and the only sound you could hear was the dull thud of your sneakered feet as you walked briskly to Mrs Kim's office, your mind swarming with questions.

Why had she called you in the first place?

My behaviour has been above par for the past year, although I do have Jinyoung to thank for that you thought to yourself, grinning. Dating the head prefect and best student of the entire year could certainly put you in your place. Both of you were the complete opposites of each other.

You were basically the class rascal, the one whom brought a groan upon the teachers' lips when they saw you in their class. On more than one occasion you had played pranks on the teachers causing several early 'dismissals'from class to the joy of your fellow classmates.

No one had ever, ever caught you, until of course Jinyoung enrolled into the school, quickly shooting himself to top place among the brightest students in school, winning all sorts of awards and honor rolls. Securing his place as head prefect, he had the uncanny ability to look through you everytime another 'mishap' occurred to the teacher. You chuckled softly to yourself, remembering the first time you talked to him.

Flashback

You were planning for your next prank, this one was an especially nasty one for your most hated teacher, Mr Hwang, who you would have hated purely because of the subject he taught: calculus but of course he had to be a huge pain in the neck when it came to teaching and setting ridiculously difficult exams.

Tapping your pen against your lip absent-mindedly, you wondered what you could come up with that would be fitting for the school's most hated teacher.

'I wouldn't do it if I were you,' a deep yet gentle voice interrupted your thoughts, bringing you back harshly to the present as you stuffed the paper into the nearest book before tossing it into your backpack.

'Do what?' you asked, glancing at the class monitor, Park Jinyoung, not even a hint of guilt in your face.

'Don't act as if you don't know,' he whispered in your ear which caused goosebumps to erupt all over your skin. Your reaction to him was definitely NOT caused by how ridiculously good-looking he was as he leaned against your desk, the hint of a smile on his very kissable lips, your hand itching to brush away the dark hair that constantly fell into his eyes.

Clearing your throat, you tried to remember how to breathe before responding. 'I don't know what you're talking about,' you shrugged.

'I know about the pranks,' he said quietly so that the rest of the class wouldn't hear as he pulled a seat around to sit in front of you an eyebrow raised in question.

'The whipped cream, the small 'explosion,' he quoted with his fingers. 'in the chemistry lab, the mysterious disappearance of our mid-term test papers and of course who could forget the chaos last Monday,' his warm brown eyes pierced yours and you had to surpress a shudder as it looked as if he could read your mind.

'Fine, you caught me,' you hissed, looking around, making sure no one could eavesdrop on the conversation. 'What exactly are you going to make me do about it?" you challenged, although you knew he could do a number of things to get you in trouble.

'Try and change you,' he said with a glint in his eye as if you were an interesting experiment.

'I'd like to see you try that,' a corner of your lip turned up in a smirk as you took out the slip of paper which you had hastily stuffed inside your History book.

He stood up, studying you for a split second before his hand shot out faster than you could blink, to pluck the paper out of your hands. Bending very low, he whispered in your ear, bringing on another round of goosebumps as his breath tickled the back of your neck.

'Don't tempt me (Y/N),' he said, and straightened, walking away as if nothing happened, although the whole class could probably see the back of your neck, burning a fiery red.

Both of you were at loggerheads for WEEKS, each trying to be more stubborn than the other. Arguments were induced, threats flew around and if anyone had asked you a year ago who you hated the most the first person that would come to your mind was Park Jinyoung.

Unfortunately, being the meticulous, exceptionally patient person he was, he slowly but efficiently took down your defences, one by one, shaping you reluctantly into a better person. He had his way around you, he had a certain quality that you had never seen before in someone of authority. Maybe it was the way he looked at you, absolutely convinced that he could change you. Maybe it was the quiet confidence he had which he carried around or maybe you had purely fallen for his good looks. Whichever it was, you had fallen hard and you had come to love him almost as fiercely as you once hated him.

Present

Your visit to the past was brought to an abrupt halt, when you found yourself outside Mrs Kim's door. Even on the outside it looked menacing, painted a dull greenish grey which reminded you of the chalkboards schools used in the past. Sighing, resigned to your fate, you rapped sharply on the door thrice before entering, cautiously wondering, what could possibly be waiting for you.

'Ahhh Miss (L/N), you took your time,' Mrs Kim peered over her spectacles and you winced at her tone, although she sounded more as if she was teasing you and not telling you off. 'Well, don't just stand there,' she said waving you to a seat in front of her. 'Take a seat, you've made our guest wait long enough,' she chided.

It was only then you had realised there was someone else in the room. You had never seen him around school before and assumed he was a transfer because he didn't look like the average Korean. There was something else about his eyes and the strong planes of his face that reminded you of Hong Kong actors. He was stocky, brown-haired and an expression on his face that reminded you of a really really cute puppy. He flashed you a smile, all gums and teeth, although you had just met him for a few seconds and you felt your heart warm to him immediately. It was hard not to when he had such a cheerful personality, you felt relaxed just by being around him.

'Well, now that you're here,' she shot you a quick glance again before turning to the new student. 'We can begin,'

'Now, Miss (L/N), I'm pleased to introduce to you our new transfer student from Hong Kong: Jackson Wang,' she said, confirming your suspicions about his status.

You nodded to him and stifled a giggle at the back of your hand as he wiggled his eyebrows at you in an attempt to make you laugh.

'I'm glad you seem to be at ease with him,' she clapped her hands once, which caused both of you to return your attention to her. 'You will be his student guide while he remains with us,' she announced, finally revealing her intentions.

Well, that was less dramatic than I played it out to be you thought inwardly, scenes of detention, scrubbing toilet floors and scraping gum off desks vanishing from your mind.

'In short, you will be helping him make his way around school, which should be easy since I've already arranged for both of you to have the same classes, teach him how our system works and just in general make him feel comfortable adapting to his new environment,' she rattled off a list of things that you were supposed to do.

'Sure Mrs Kim,' you shrugged. It wouldn't be so bad hanging out with him, unless he proved to be a huge pain in the ass.

'Well, if that's all you may return to your class but,' she glanced at her old-fashioned wristwatch. 'Seeing as there is less than 5 mintues till your break, I would suggest you escort Mr Wang to his lockers and head for lunch,'

'No problem Mrs.' you replied, standing up with a short bow before signalling for him to follow you with a flick of your hand.

'Well,' you stated as he fell into step with you, backpack bouncing against his shoulders. 'I'll clear out all the awkwardness between us first,' you volunteered. 'My name as you probably already know is (Y/N L/N), never call me by my full name, welcome to (S/N),' you waved your hand to the empty hallway.

He laughed quietly under his breath at your short introduction. 'Thanks,' he said with a wink.

You went along describing the facilities the school had, the many achievements it had collected over the past few years and most importantly, all the social rules.

'And here we have the as the students like to call it 'The Wall of Fame,' you pointed to a glass protected notice-board where all the top students, alumni and prefects were listed.

'Who's that?' he asked, pointing to the picture of the head prefect who made several other appearances in the notice board.

'Oh, that's Jinyoung, my boyfriend,' you said dismissively as he gaped at you.

'He looks super stern,' Jackson mused as he scrutinised the picture.

'He's much more fun in person, trust me,' you chuckled at Jackson's assessment. 'I'll introduce you to him later you can join us at our lunch table,' you offered, knowing what it felt like to be the new kid.

'I don't want to be a third wheel,' his neck flushed red as you laughed out loud.

'We sit together with a bunch of friends dummy,' you whacked him as he smiled sheepishly, scratching the back of his neck. 'But first order of business,' you said briskly. 'We need to get rid of your backpack, come on,' you guided him to his locker just as the bell rang, signalling lunch time.

'Oh shit,' you swore under your breath as Jackson twirled the dial of his new locker, turning the combination based on a small slip of paper.

'What?' he asked without even turning to look at you, he was so focused in getting the door open.

'I left my stuff at class ugh,' you groaned knowing it would take you at least 5 minutes to go all the way back up the third floor to get your books.

'You can go up and get them, I don't mind,' he jiggled the locker a bit as it refused to open. 'Besides, it looks like I'm going to be stuck here for a while,' he muttered twisting the combination again and again.

'Oh that's easily fixed, stand aside new kid,' you smirked as you whacked the locker with the flat of your hand producing a metallic clang that echoed through the hall which was followed shortly by a small click as the door popped open.

'Well damn,' he shot you an impressed glance before sorting all the books he was carrying into the finally open locker.

'You know,' a cheeky voice pointed out. 'I could probably report you for vandalism,'

'Jinyoung,' you squealed half-shocked half pleased as you turned around to look at him, his bag on your shoulder an easy smile on his face, eyes twinkling.

'You're a life saver,' you breathed, pecking him on the cheek as you slung your bag over your shoulder.

'Tell me something I don't know,' he chuckled about to take your hand to head to the cafeteria hall but Jackson closed his locker shut, his sorting finally complete.

'Well, that's 2 problems solved,' he grinned. 'Thanks for the help,' he elbowed you in the side, completely oblivious to Jinyoung's presence. 'Let's go eat,' he draped an arm across your shoulders, which you were completely fine with, but Jinyoung shot him a glare that could have probably burned through metal.

'Um Jackson,' you muttered, eyes drifting to Jinyoung who was watching both of you arms crossed.

'Oh right,' his arm dropped from your shoulders instantly, as if he was touching acid.

Jinyoung fell into step next to him as he took your hand, slightly possessive. To ease the tension, you introduced both of them to each other.

'Jinyoung this is Jackson, he's new,' you gave a brief introduction, knowing by the scowl on his face that he wasn't really in the mood.

'And Jackson, this is Jinyoung,' you said.

He nodded, smiling guiltily. You could tell that the tension between them was as thick as a steel cord but you were just about to open your mouth when you were interrupted by a whoop of delight.

'Hey (Y/N),' Bam Bam and Yugyeom came rushing at you, ruffling your hair.

'Don't tell me, you just got out of Geography?' you guessed based off of their hyperactive behaviour.

'Better than being in History,' Jaebum grumbled with Mark by his side as both of them joined you.

'I don't know what all of you are complaining about, I got Calculus,' Youngjae's clear voice joined the conversation as all of you shot him sympathetic looks.

'You boys really have impeccable timing,' you rolled your eyes at them.

'Oh yeah guys, this is Jackson he's new so treat him nicely okay?' you warned shooting your boyfriend an apologetic look, but he seemed to have returned to his usual composed demeanor, even managing to squeeze your hand once, a sign that he wasn't mad.

All of you joined the mass of students that were streaming into the canteen for lunch. Instead of waiting in line, you headed to find a table, having brought your own packed lunch. Managing to snag a spot under a fan you smiled gratefully, Lady Luck must have smiled upon you for once.

'Hey do you mind?' Jackson asked, as he too had a brown package in his hands instead of the usual lunch tray.

'Sure, sure,' you scooted over, allowing him to sit next to you as you both of you unwrapped your lunches.

'Is that...' you peeked at his lunch. 'Kimchi fried rice?' you asked almost longingly, looking down at your own pitiful lunch. You had woken up late (thanks snooze button) and had barely enough time to put an apple and a packed salad into your bag before rushing for school.

'You can have some,' he took out his cutlery, handing out the spoon to you.

'Oh it's okay,' you shook your head, although the fried rice was beckoning, calling out to you.

'Don't be stubborn,' he teased, waving a spoonful of rice in front of you as you rolled your eyes, giving in, accepting the mouthful that he spoon-fed to you.

Someone cleared his throat behind you as you looked up to see Jinyoung with his tray clutched in white hands, he looked ready to break it in half. Plopping his tray next to you, the rest seemed oblivious to the incident that had taken place instead resorting to the usual banter as they shovelled down their food. Jinyoung sat on the left of you while Jackson sat on the right and you suddenly felt like the white cream of an Oreao that was spread a little too thinly between the chocolate biscuits.

Apologetic, you held his hand throughout lunch, hoping that it conveyed the message that you and Jackson had abosultely nothing going on. He seemed to relax a bit, the rigid lines in his neck, softening slightly and his arm was less tense as he ate steadily, eyes focused on the food.

While both of you were in your own little world, it seemed like the boys had taken in turns to question Jackson so fast that he barely had time to eat.

'Okay boys stop bothering him,' you laughed at their enthusiasm. 'It's nearly 1, lunch is nearly over and he needs to eat,' you pointed out.

As soon as the words left your mouth the school bell rang and almost in unison, all of you stood up, even Jackson with his half-finished rice.

'Here,' you tossed him your apple. 'You can munch it on the way to class,'

Turning to Jinyoung who had managed to get rid of his tray and come back in the blink of an eye he offered you his arm as well as a small smile.

'I'll see you later?' he asked and there was some doubt flickering in his eye as he asked but your firm nod seemed to reassure him as he brushed his lips briefly against your forehead before leaving for History.

'Come on, we have English,' Jackson said, munching on the apple, half of it already gone as both of you walked side by side to class.

The rest of the school week had gone about the same old way with the one additional factor: Jackson and you were inseperable, being his student guide and having classes together just made it easier for you to go to spend more time and get to know each other more. Besides, he had such a sunny personality, you couldn't help but just gravitate towards him. Jinyoung had noticed all the changes but he kept silent vigil, watching with his thoughtful brown eyes, knowing that jumping to any conclusions or overthinking would not be helpful. Besides, he trusted you but he would be lieing to himself if he denied that his heart twinged with jealousy whenever he saw both of you together.

After School, Friday

'Ughhhh,' you whined, leaning your head on Jinyoung's shoulder as he walked you back home and you could tell by the shift in his shoulder that he was chuckling.

'What's wrong?' he asked, warpping an arm around you.

'I have an English project to do and I won't be able to come to Game Night with you and the boys,' you pouted.

'Need help?' he offered.

'Nah, it's okay Jackson and I are working on it,' you sighed, blowing a strand of hair out of your face.

'He seems... nice,' Jinyoung commented slowly, as of taking his time to think before talking. 'You're spending a lot of time with him,' he noted off-handedly.

'He is nice,' you agreed. 'Do I detect a hint of jealousy in your voice?' you teased.

'Me?" he fake-gasped. 'Of course not,' he denied although his eyes sort of gave him away.

'Hmmmmm, then you won't mind it if I go out with him to work on our project this weekend right?" you asked, poking him in his arm, gauging his reaction.

'No problem at all,' he was quiet for a split second and it took him a while to digest what you had said before he continued. 'As long as I get to go with you,' he said hastily.

"'I'm not jealous' he said," you mimicked Jinyoung's voice
