CHAPTER TWENTY-THREE - HEIR APPARENT, PART 2

π“£π™°π™½π™½π™΄πš

"LEANBOW, COULD IT REALLY BE YOU?" Udonna asked as she hugged him. They held hands. "I don't know how to explain, but it's true. I am alive." Leanbow replied. "This is unbelievable." Madison said. "No, this is one of Koragg's tricks." Nick told her.

"Leanbow survived but not Solaris Knight!" Imperious said. "Now, to finish what I've started!" Imperious claimed as he went to attack but Leanbow easily blocked it. "Uthe Sasoray!" Leanbow shouted as we disappeared. We ended up in a dimension.

"We'll be safe in this dimension for a while." Leanbow informed. "Okay, am I the only one confused by what's going on here?" Xander asked. "I'm a little mixed-up myself." Vida said. "I'm also confused about this whole situation." I added.

"Let me get this straight. Leanbow was Koragg, and Koragg was Leanbow, and one of them β€” or both of them β€” just saved our lives." Chip said. "Wait, wait. This is the same guy who's been trying to toast us for months. How can we trust it's really Leanbow?" Nick asked. "You're right. I don't blame you for not trusting me." Leanbow replied.

"I trust you. I know it's you. What happened?" Udonna asked. "My tale is so incredible I'm not sure I believe it myself." Leanbow replied as we all sat down on a few rocks. "It happened in the last battle of the Great War." Leanbow started off. "You closed the gates to the underworld, and we all thought you were gone forever." Udonna said.

"Yes, but that's where the story just begins. My plan had worked, and The Master was sinking down into the depths, but he used the last of his dark magic to take me with him and turned me into Koragg, the Knight Wolf, his most obedient soldier. I had no memory of my previous life. Everything I did was for The Master." Leanbow explained.

"But you remember now." Chip said. "It must have been the virus that infected my titan mode. It began to break the memory spell." Leanbow said.

"Then you must remember how many times you tried to destroy us, and Udonna, even your own wife. You almost destroyed her, and then stole her Snow Staff. Not to mention help with casting a spell on Tanner, turning him evil. Does that ring any bells?" Nick asked. I flinched as I remembered being evil. I looked down as Xander placed his hand on my shoulder.

"Yes. I remember it all, and I cannot tell you all how sorry I am. Especially you, Tanner." Leanbow replied. I said nothing. "Nick, no one could withstand the full power of The Master's dark magic." Udonna informed.

"If there was any way you could forgive me, all of you..." Leanbow said. Everyone was silent. "Of course, I..." Udonna started to say until she suddenly fell to the ground. "Udonna!" Nick said. "You're injured." Leanbow said.

"I... used the book of dark magic to get to the underworld. I'm afraid I'm as vulnerable as any human now." Udonna admitted. "You shouldn't have done that." Leanbow told her. That's when an explosion came. "Imperious has found us. I'm sending you back to Root Core." Leanbow informed. "Oh, no. No, I don't want to lose you again." Udonna said.

"You're in no condition to fight." Leanbow informed. "For once, we agree. Send her." Nick said as we all stepped back and Leanbow sent Udonna back to Root Core. The sky got really dark as Imperious, Necrolai and the monster showed up. "There you are!" Imperious exclaimed as he laughed evilly. "Get them, Chimera!" Imperious ordered. "My pleasure!" Chimera said. "Ready yourselves." Leanbow said.

Leanbow ended up getting morphed into his ancient mode. All of us got out our morphers. "Magical Source, Mystic Force!" We all yelled. We morphed and began fighting Chimera. Necrolai ended up disappearing with Leanbow.

We got attacked again as we fell to the ground. Nick tried to attack him but ended up getting thrown back. That's when Daggeron showed up. "Rangers, the unicorn's name is Bright Star. She can travel through all dimensions. If you run into trouble, she can combine with your Megazord. Now hurry!" Daggeron explained.

We all returned from the dimension. "I can't believe Leanbow!" Nick said. Chimera suddenly grew big. Nick got on Bright Star. He ended up combining with Bright Star as he made a Megazord. Nick began fighting Chimera as we joined and spit fire at him.

Xander, Madison, Vida, Chip and I ended up falling to the ground as we demorphed. Suddenly, Koragg showed up. Nick finally ended up destroying Chimera as he headed for Koragg and began fighting him. Both Nick and Koragg fell to the ground. "This isn't over!" Koragg exclaimed. "Whatever you say!" Nick said as he headed for Koragg. We watched them fight each other.

"They're a pretty even match." Vida said. "Like they can anticipate each other's moves." Xander added. Nick's staff ended up falling to the ground. Nick picked up his sword.

"You're too angry. You must learn to control your emotions." Koragg stated. "There were so many times you could have destroyed us, and you didn't! Tell me why!" Nick shouted. "I know why. Because there's apart of him that is still good." Madison said. "Part that's still Leanbow." Xander finished.

Nick was still fighting Koragg. Nick ended up being demorphed. "You have fought with honor, but now the battle is over. Since you have proven to be a worthy opponent, I will grant you a swift end." Koragg said. He raised his sword. We all raced down until Udonna came. "Leanbow, stop! Don't do it!" Udonna shouted. She lowered his sword. "This is Bowen, your child. Our child." Udonna said. Nick was looking at them, confused. "What?" Koragg questioned.

"What are you saying?" Nick asked. "You were with me all along, and I never knew. It's truly magical." Udonna replied. "Now that I think about it, it makes sense." I said. "Huh?" Xander asked me. "Think about it, Koragg was able to call Nick, uh, Bowen? Through his head. Leanbow was Koragg all along. It also explains why Koragg went after Nick." I explained.

"Ohhh." Xander said, finally getting what I was saying. Koragg put his sword away. "My β€” My son?" Koragg questioned. That's when he changed back into Leanbow. "And I thought my family reunions were weird." Chip commented.

"I am your mother. It's true, Nick. I knew there was a reason you came to Briarwood. It was to fulfill your destiny β€” the greatest wizard of them all." Udonna said. Nick chuckled. "This is gonna take a little while getting used to." Nick said.

That's when the ground rumbled as The Master appeared. "Come on, Rangers!" Vida shouted. "No!" Leanbow said as he casted a spell on us. "This is my battle. I must finish what I started. Ancient Mystic Mode!" Leanbow shouted as he went into Ancient Mystic Mode. "No!" Nick yelled. "You can't!" Vida shouted as well.

"Leanbow, don't!" Udonna added. Leanbow began fighting The Master. He got pushed underground. Our respective colors showed up out of the hole and flew into us. "Our legend warrior powers. They're back." Xander said. I smacked the back of his head. "Ow!" Xander said, rubbing his head. "Now's not the time, Xander." I muttered. "But Leanbow's gone." Udonna said. Nick put a hand on her shoulder.

I was walking in the forest with Xander. I took a deep breath. I knew I had to tell someone. "Xander, if I was to tell you something, will you promise not to tell the team?" I asked. "Sure, Tanner." Xander replied. I sighed. "I have these... visions. They come along with my powers." I said.

"Visions? As in?" Xander asked. I rolled my eyes. "I can see things before they happen. And they usually come true. Before Daggeron joined the team, I kept having a vision about him. And when we got our legend warrior power taken away, I had a vision before it happened." I explained. Xander smacked the back of my head.

"Xander!" I shouted. "One, that was payback for doing it to me earlier. And two, you didn't bother telling the team this before? It could've been useful you know." Xander stated. "I know. I just didn't want to tell anyone. I had to research about it and control them. They come to me randomly." I said.

"So, all those headaches that you had when we were at work, those wereβ€”" Xander started to say. "Me getting a vision, yes." I interrupted. "I won't tell the team. But you have to tell them at some point, okay?" Xander said.

I just nodded as I hugged him.
