no ones pov.

It was almost a month into a new year. Everyone was working on something new about themselves. Especially Amy.

Her and Jake made a small bet a while ago from the previous year to see who can capture the most criminals. And when the operation was a success,it was unsure who was the winner in the end.

Amy was at her desk peaking out of the corners of her computer for any presence of Jake.

"Good morning Ms.Santiago!" 

Amy yelped and turn around to see (F•N) next to her on her swivel chair.

"Hey (F•N)." Amy said continuing to peek from her desk.

"Are you looking for someone?" (F•N) asked.

"I've been avoiding Jake like cat and mouse,it's that stupid bet we had last year and ever since we ended that operation. I'd like to say that I've been running up in my arrest." Amy explained.

"You know how Jake likes to build up things and let it explode everywhere. Pause. Maybe you should wait until the end of your shift. Jake can be forgetful sometimes." (F•N) said.

Amy took a deep sigh. "Maybe you're right. Okay I'll give it a day. Don't go behind my back helping him." Amy instructed.

"I won't Amy!" (F•N) said scooting away on her chair.

Amy sighed and went back work but what she didn't know is that (F•N) lied to her face...HARD.

Jake arrived a little late,greeting everyone even Amy. "Good morning Santiago." He said sitting across from her.

"Morning" Amy replied.

Jake started up his computer and immediately went to his email and messaged (F•N). "Supply closet. Five minutes. Go inside first then I'll go in." 

(F•N) gave a head nod of approval. This was about to be perfect. After a while (F•N) got up casually and went over to the supply closet without raising any suspicion.

Jake soon after went to the closet and it was beginning.

"Okay so,here's our plan. I've been working on a drug ring case for a while and I'm supposed to meet up with one of the members for a "exchange" but I'll give them the old switcheroo. Next the banner that I've custom made will be hidden within the building and then...BOOM! Amy will admit defeat!" Jake said.

"Are you doing this on your own?" (F•N) asked.

"Well with help from you and the rest of the crew. This is gonna be perfect."  Jake declared.

"Totally,Peralta. I'll keep Amy calm and distracted while you're out there getting that guy." (F•N) said 

"Actually,you're coming with me. I think Amy will be fine on her own." Jake said leaving the closet with (F•N) behind him.

They both gathered there belongings and headed towards the elevator,Amy didn't even notice.

"Amy didn't even bat an eye! So what's happening while we are outside?" (F•N) asked getting inside of Jake's car.

"I've "Hired" a fake mechanic for our hidden confetti cannon,next Terry has a stache with champagne in his fridge. Lastly I asked Boyle to make a jamin playlist for the big reveal." Jake said like a madman.

"The look on Amy's face will be glorious. I feel very dirty doing this to Ms.Santiago." (F•N) said buckling up.

"You can probably make it up for her tonight." Jake said driving to the spot.

It wasn't far from the police station,Jake parked his car in a alleyway. "Okay I'll find our guy, and if he starts to run. Most likely he will...I'll call you. Stay put!" Jake said.

(F•N) stayed in the car looking out for anyone. She sat...and sat...until.

"WE GOT A RUNNER!" Jake yelled from his PA system.

"Oop- we running now." (F•N) said getting out of Jake's car.

"HE RUNNING SOUTH OF WESTERN STREET!" Jake directed (F•N).

"On it!" She responded back.

(F•N) was running north of western street until she crashed into the fleeing man.

"Nice tackle!" Jake said catching up to her and very out of breath.

"It was a accident..." (F•N) said cuffing the guy.

"Take him back to car and get ready for our celebration." Jake said.

(F•N) took him back while Jake followed her. Meanwhile back at the 9-9,Amy was getting  nervous and suspicious.

"Hey Santiago,you seem jittery..." Terry said walking up to her.

"I'm trying to forget about that dumb bet that Jake made with me. And I told (F•N) not to backstab me. But that's exactly what's happening right now." Amy said.

"Jake and (F•N) went to bust a drug ring. I think your just paranoid." Terry said.

"And then what? Go on a Jake with date?! I rather go out with Teddy!" Amy said standing up.

"Whoa." Terry said.

"Yeah,maybe I am paranoid..." Amy said sitting down.

The elevator doors opened with Jake and (F•N) along with the guy they arrested earlier. (F•N) shrugged and Amy kinda relaxed.

"Nice bust (F•N)." Jake said about to high-five (F•N).

"HOLD IT!" Amy said standing up and walking up them.

"I know what game you two are playing right now,and how dare you~" Amy said.

"What game are we playing–"

"THE BET JAKE. The bet that we made and nice attempt trying to sneak past me."  Amy said,she then pulled a man in cuffs to her side.

"Ladies and Gentlemen,I present Carl Laudson! Who stole 3,000$! Santiago takes the lead! SUCK IT PERALTA!" Amy said overly confident.

Jake and (F•N) both sat down. "Oh no." Jake said uninterested.

"That's right, "Oh no"...Oh no,you don't seem worried. Why aren't you worried?"  Amy said nervously.

"Jake,what's going on? I thought we were catching this guy because–" (F•N) said

"Bring in the John's!" Jake said.

A whole line of "John's" came through the precinct. Amy and (F•N) stood there speechless and jaw dropped.

"I rang a drug sting from vice and arrested 30 guys for illegal drug possession and who stole 10,000$ in total. And our sweet (F•N) has there leader." Jake who turned to (F•N) and Amy absolutely devastated.

"Okay,Amy before you yell at me. I didn't know he would this...okay that's a lie,I did know but didn't know it would end like this." (F•N) said explaining for her life.

"That's not a felony!" Amy said.

"It is when it's your second offense. Which is the case for 10 of these gentlemen and 4 of them are actually named "John" Ironic!" Jake said proudly.

"Jake Peralta,you madman..." (F•N) said under her breath.

"Anywhoo,10 more for Peralta. Accept your faith." Jake said.

"Never" Amy said regretting everything.

Jake started to count down until. "JAKE WIN'S. AMY LOSES!" He boasted.

Then he pulled out a mini radio that had "Celebrate" by Kool and the gang. The whole office started to dance into Amy's face and confetti was everywhere.

(F•N) stood in the back laughing wildly. While Jake pulled out a whiteboard that said "JAKE WINS" in all caps.

Amy stood there ashamed and probably dead inside. 

Jake pulled out a ring box and got one knee  "Amy Santiago,you have made me the happiest man on earth. I spent 1$ on this ring. Will you go on the worst date with me?" Jake asked foolishly.

Amy looked at (F•N) who was in tears from this comical moment. They both made eye contact,(F•N) gave her a thumbs up and Amy mouthed "I will kill you." 

"Yes" Amy said unenthusiastic.

"She said yes!" Jake yelled.

"This is for you~" Jake said tossing the ring box to Amy as he continued to dance.

After everyone shifts ended...

"PLEASE MS. SANTIAGO,ILL MAKE IT UP TO YOU." (F•N) said dragging herself behind Amy.

"(F•N)! No,I said it a thousands times." Amy said walking to her car.

"Just let me make you look pretty tonight~! Do you still have your dress from Christmas?" (F•N) asked.

"I do,but what are you gonna tell Teddy? Hes gonna get suspicious." Amy said.

"Not if it's a girls night out!" (F•N) said hopping into Amy's car.

Amy scoffed and rolled her eyes and started her car. "Fine. Only for tonight." Amy said.

"Yasss! Let's go!" (F•N) said.

Amy drove her way to her shared apartment with Teddy. Amy opened the door to Teddy sitting on the couch watching Football.

"Hey baby! How was work?" He asked hugging her.

"It was...interesting..." Amy said nervously.

Teddy saw (F•N) behind Amy.

"Whose this?" He asked.

"This is one of my co-workers (F•N),were doing a girls night out." Amy said.

"Oh okay,you both have fun now." Teddy said as they both headed to Amy's bathroom.

"I'm am going to make you look pretty. Now just sit back!" (F•N) said pushing back Amy's head.

A couple of snip's,trims and plucks! Amy looked beautiful.

"Ta-da! The new Amy Santiago!" (F•N) said handing her a mirror.

"You did a great job,I'm impressed!" Amy said.

"Sorry to intrude on y'all but some guy named Jake? Is waiting for Amy." Teddy said opening the bathroom door.

"I'll walk you down Amy,don't wanna miss the first date~" (F•N) said walking out of the bathroom with Amy.

"Amy Santiago! Date time! time for a date!" Jake yelled.

(F•N) and Amy popped their heads out of Amy's apartment door. "This dress looks ridiculous." Amy said stalling.

"You looked fine! Stop stalling." (F•N) said try to push her out the door.

"Chop,chop. Theres plenty of embarrassing things to do and only a few hours left to do." Jake said.

Amy stepped out the door with (F•N) behind her. Amy worn her medium lengthwise,blue dress with a bow in the back. She was clearly embarrassed.

"Happy?" She said nonchalantly.

"Oh yeah. You look like every girl at every bat mitzvah,I had a crush on. Let's see the bow." Jake said.

Amy did a small twirl and (F•N) squealed and hugged her.

"Just like Jenny Gildahorn! Why'd do I wish you had braces? Should we get you braces? No– That's too much." Jake said admiring Amy.

He finally came around the driver side and Amy along with (F•N) gawked at Jake's outfit.

"Nice shorts!" (F•N) and Amy said in unison.

"Thank you and believe it or not they were that expensive." Jake boasted.

"Do I really have to wear this all night?" Amy said already done.

"You know the rules. Date starts now and ends at midnight. I decide,what you eat,what you wear and where you go. Oh and there is one more rule,no matter what happens your not allowed to fall in love with me." Jake said.

"Won't be a problem." Amy said positively.

"*Cough!* *cough!* Bullcrap–!*Cough!* " 

Jake and Amy turned to (F•N) who was standing there...innocently.

"(F•N),your "Boyle" is showing." Amy said while Jake let out a chuckle.

"My "Boyle" is showing? Yeah I'm gonna steal that running gag. Okay I'll leave you alone. Have fun!" (F•N) said walking away.

Amy hopped into Jake's car and drove off. (F•N) turned around to the sound of can and saw a small message that made her grin.

"JUST LOST A BET!"
