A loud scream coming from Ran's room woke up every living being in the household.

Well, almost all.

Rindou's eyes shot open as he heard his brother screaming, him getting up immediately and opening his door to go out. He knocked on his brother's door and after hearing no response, he just barged in, completely not prepared for what he had to see.

(Y/N) on the other hand, she just shifted sideways, continuing to sleep.

Ran was on the corner of his room, breathing heavily and looking near him. He was about to ask him what was wrong when his eyes darted towards his brother's bedside drawer and had to stifle a shriek when he saw the doll sitting there.

"WHY THE HELL IS THIS THING IN HERE?!?!?!" he yelled, picking the doll up by it's dress collar.

"CAN YOU NOT FUCKING SHOUT?! SHE'S STILL SLEEPING!" Ran yelled back, now sitting on his bed.

They heard a yawn near the doorway and they turned to whoever made the sound. (Y/N) stood there, her one hand to her mouth and the other in her waist.

"WHY'D YOU PUT THIS THING IN HERE?!" Ran asked loudly, pouting and looking accusedly at (Y/N).

"Relax Ran, I didn't." she said which made both boy's hearts drop to the pit of their stomach. "By the way, was that you? The screaming earlier I mean. It sounded so girly."

Rindou cleared his throat as he shoved the doll in her hands, muttering about something that sounded like 'Fucking Doll..' under his breath.

"Don't you dare change the topic here, lady!" Ran hissed, eyes narrowed to the doll again. "Gimme that!"

He picked the doll and went to the couch, placing it there. He the turned to (Y/N) who was now in her way to their kitchen.

"Chill, Ran bae. It's so early in the morning yet here you are, fussing over some doll who looks like it wants to eat your soul. Calm down a little." she waved off. "Besides, look how gorgeous you look first thing in the morning..."

Ran's face turned a faint pink at the 'bae' and the compliment but he dismissed it. She can't just wave him off like that after her doll gave him a heart attack so early in the morning.

"Uh huh?! Like hell I'dβ€”"

"Guess what? I'll cook breakfast." (Y/N) said, looking at him.

"Oh sure." he smiled.

Rindou just scoffed at his brother's antics, but quite thankful to have her with them that morning so he could avoid Ran's cooking.

"So pretty boys, what would you guys like for breakfast?" she queried, looking at them from the kitchen counter.

"I don't know... Check the fridge." Rindou answered.

"Huh there's... There's a bunch of food here." she mumbled.

Rindou almost slammed his head on the counter because of her obvious as hell statement.

"I meant, what do you think you could cook for me today?" he asked. Boy, his head was hurting already and it's still six in the morning.

Ran just opened his mouth to say 'us' but decided not to.

"I could cook you some food if you'd like." she smiled.

"Fuck it you're so hard to talk to in the morning..." he huffed.

He then stood up from his seat and went to the living room, leaving Ran and (Y/N) alone in the kitchen. Ran just had a smirk on his face while the female just looked at him, eyes fixated on his face.

"You think I'm handsome, don't you? That's why you're staring at my face right now... Is that it?" he asked cheekily.

"Yup. You're handsome but most of all, who put Randoubelle beside your seat?"

Ran turned his head slowly, his heart pounding in his chest. Normally, he would've liked hearing her say that he's handsome but not right now.

She said Randoubelle's beside him.

So when her turned around and saw nothing, he exhaled, sweat forming on his temples. He turned to look at the female and frowned again when he saw her standing there, stifling her laughter.

"Pfft.... You... You're really..." she kept muffling her laughter, letting it die on her throat. "You're really afraid of Randoubelle?"

His face turned a tad bit pink at her accusation, not knowing how to respond.

"Oi stop flirting you two. I was just gone for a few seconds and then you two decide to hit it off? No shame." Rindou muttered loudly, his head poking through the kitchen entrance.

"Tsk! I was not flirting with Ran! And if I was, you'd best believe I'd flirt with you too, honey." she trailed off, winking at Rindou.

He stopped breathing for a moment as he slowly retreated back to the living room.

"I'm just gonna... I'm gonna be in the living room..." Ran mumbled.

"Watch Randoubelle for me, yeah?" (Y/N) asked sweetly.

He internally panicked before turning his gaze back to her, a nervous smile on his lips. "No way."

"Or else I'll have her haunt you for the rest of your life."

Ran sweat dropped at her statement, finally nodding and turning to the direction of the living room.

"Oh, and one more thing." she spoke, grabbing a knife and a cutting board, "I want to see her on your lap with you petting her head, okay? If I don't, well... I don't know what she'll do..."

He just gulped at her statement, trying his best not to let her see his nervousness. He then went to the couch and looked at it for a brief moment, contemplating his life decisions.

He got even nervous at the thought of the doll on his lap but he managed to do it nonetheless. Rindou just looked at him, unamused. He didn't mind his brother's gaze as he just sat there, Randoubelle on his lap with his hand petting it's head.

He surely didn't wanna be a victim of some doll.

"She's such a manipulative little bitch isn't she?" Rindou mumbled, keeping his voice as low as possible.

Ran was about to say something when he saw her behind them.

"I'd shut up if I were you, glasses, if you don't want me to poison your breakfast..." he heard her say.

Rindou stiffened as he turned his gaze to her, beads of sweat forming on his forehead. "What are you talking about? I'm referring to that doll."

"Really?" she jeered, her head mere inches from his, "Anyways, it'll be ready in a few minutes. And Rindou, nice save bro." she added sarcastically.

They looked at her walking to the kitchen as the smell of food wafted throughout the entire house,  Ran wishing he had just stayed in there and watched her cook instead.

Meanwhile, Rindou kept on taking deep breaths, absolutely waiting for whatever she was cooking to get cooked already. He then leaned against the couch, one hand on one of Randoubelle's braids.

A sly thought entered both of their minds, them unable to keep on thinking about their dear best friend.

"You know what, brother? I'd like to see her in braids. Wonder how she'll look..." he smirked.

Ran faced his brother, a lazy smirk appearing on his features, "Huh me too. I bet she'll look pretty cute."

"Yeah and it'd be better if she was wearing this kind of dress too." Rindou added, inspecting the doll's dress.

"Why not a maid outfit though?" Ran asked, his mind already picturing (Y/N) in a maid outfit with her hair tied into braids.

Rindou also pictured her with her hair tied in braids, wearing a dress that resembled the doll's dress.

"You guys are way out of Earth right now..." the said woman mumbled behind them, their gazes shifting to her. "Anyways, I'm not wearing any dresses and breakfast is ready."

They both stood up awkwardly, Ran placing Randoubelle on the couch. (Y/N) followed behind them, the doll in her hands.

She placed the doll beside her as the brothers sat in front of her, not noticing the doll.

They both sat down in the table and started eating immediately, definitely thankful that she slept in their place and cooked for them. Both of them barely know how to cook and they were growing quite tired of eating cereal or cup noodles every morning.

"So? How's the taste?" she asked, both hands propped on the table, supporting her head.

"Way better than his cooking." Rindou spoke, pointing at his brother beside him.

Ran just glared at him, mouth still full.

"At least I can cook!" he retorted.

"Yeah right! If it's not burnt then it's raw! And don't even ask me about the barely edible soup you make." Rindou argued back.

"Tsk, says the guy who doesn't even know how to boil water." Ran responded.

Rindou was about to utter a comeback but he didn't, seeing as (Y/N) cleared her throat to get their attention.

"Guys, guys, chill! Eat as much as you want and no fighting!" she stated nervously.

"Hmm right. Aren't you gonna eat (nickname)-chan?" Ran asked, looking at her.

Rindou's eyes darted towards her face, still eating.

"Nope. Maybe later." she stated. "After you guys finish. Yeah."

"Why though?" Rindou asked.

"Why? It's cause I like seeing you two enjoy my cooking. That's why." she claimed.

Rindou looked away after that, cheeks tinted pink as Ran just looked into her eyes, a lazy smirk on his face.

"And here I thought you were gonna say you poisoned the food..." Rindou muttered.

(Y/N) just fake gasped.

"Ah! So why not come here everyday and cook for us?" Ran proposed. "It'll be fun."

"Eh no. I'd like to but sadly, I have my own place." she mumbled. "Oh look. Bet they're done partying now."

"Stay here. We'll uh... We'll deliver you to your house later." Rindou suggested.

"Wow so I'm just a package that you can deliver now?" the female joked, picking up a piece of vegetable with her chopsticks and popping it in her mouth. "That's rude."

"You know that's not what I mean..." Rindou retorted.

"Ran, stop staring."

The older one just let out a chuckle at her statement, averting his eyes away from her. Rindou just rolled his eyes however, internally complimenting (Y/N)'s cooking skills.

He shifted his attention to the doll beside (Y/N), looking at it and his brother simultaneously. He kept nodding his head as he ate, making his brother question his sanity.

"Why are you nodding?" he asked, looking at his brother.

"Oh nothing. It's just that... That thing looks like its staring at you." he spoke nonchalantly.

"Oi she has a name." (Y/N) interjected. "It's Randoubelle."

Rindou just muttered a 'yeah whatever' while Ran tried his best to not look at the doll.

"Why is it even in here...." Ran dreadfully muttered to himself.

"Cause, like I said last night, I thought she's cute and I wanted you guys to see her." the female deadpanned.

"You have a shitty definition of cute (Y/N)." Rindou stated.

"Oh, I do now? Well, just to make it clear, I find the both of you cute." she smirked.

Ran choked while Rindou just huffed and looked away again.

"Oh? Is the great Rindou Haitani flustered? My..." she flirtatiously commented, making eye contact with Ran, "Is he flustered, Ran?" she asked, pretending as if she didn't know.

He just chuckled at his brother's behavior before patting him on the back, looking at the female, "I guess he is!"

"Tch shut it brother before I tell her something you wouldn't want me to tell." Rindou warned, smirking.

"Oh yeah? Well go on? I'm not the only one who has that secret~" Ran mocked, a lazy smirk plastered on his face.

"Guys, the food's getting cold." (Y/N) reminded.

Rindou just chuckled at his defeat and continued eating while Ran just leaned back on his chair and continued munching as well.

'Might as well put that off for another day.'

Both boys gave each other looks throughout the whole time they were eating, all of this getting unnoticed by (Y/N) who seems to be enjoying her own cooking as well.

"... I'm not doing the dishes, people." the female declared, looking at the sink.

"Neither am I." Rindou nodded. "Besides, it's his turn." he said, pointing at his brother.

"What?! Since when do we have scheduled dish washing sessions?" Ran asked, looking at the two with disbelief.

(Y/N) just looked at him with an innocent face, him averting his eyes from her.

"...Woah, I didn't even know you guys even wash dishes. Anyways, I gotta go." she mumbled, standing up.

"Let me accompany you home (Y/N)." Rindou suggested, going inside his room. "Besides, my brother still has to wash the dishes." he snickered.

The female stifled her laughter at his remark, looking at Ran who huffed in annoyance, putting his hair in a messy bun.

"Damn, you look like a snack and I'm hungry." she blurted out loud.

A series of loud thumps and other sounds like objects falling emitted from Rindou's room while Ran just looked at her, smirking.

"Well, aren't you the flirty one?" Ran asked with a smile, running his fingers in his hair.

Rindou got out if his room, frowning while looking at his brother and back to the female. "We just ate." he obnoxiously stated, looking at (Y/N). "Seriously you two keep on flirting with each other everytime I'm not around like what the hell is wrong with the both of you?"

They both just laughed at Rindou's comment while he just rolled his eyes.

"Jeez don't be all worked up about that Rin. What? You jealous now?" she teased.

"Tch like that would actually happen. Come on, you said you want to go back to your house." he motioned, waving his keys in the air.

"Aww can't we bring Ran along?" she jeered, looking at the said male.

Rindou pinched the bridge of his nose as he shaked his head slowly, "No."

Ran made a face at his brother's statement but soon stopped, seeing as the female was busy gawking at him. He then started to wash the dishes, pretending as if he doesn't know that she's staring at him.

Rindou watched the whole scene going on and scoffed. "You're drooling." he mumbled, proceeding to lift the girl's chin up to close her mouth.

She just looked at him, a smirk on her face before grabbing his hand and dashing to the doorway. "See ya later Rannabelle!"

Rindou gulped in seeing her intertwined fingers with his as they exited the place, her taking the lead. He adjusted his glasses with his other hand while he practiced pulling his hand away from hers.

He cleared his throat once they got outside as he tried to pull his hand away, closing his eyes as if not wanting to see her reaction. But much to his dismay, she let go before he could even get into it.

'Talk about favoritism...'

"Hey, come on now." she ushered, hands behind her back.

"Fine, fine."

They had arrived at her place not long after that, no conversations exchanged.

His face was tinted pink the whole time, him not bothering to show her. Though, she took notice.

"Welp see ya Rindou... Rin... Glasses boy..." she muttered, still deciding on what to call him.

"Uh yeah. See ya." he said and turned around. He got disappointed at this but decided to face her again, this time remembering what he needs to say to her.

"Oh, and (Y/N)?"

"Yeah?"

"...Stop flirting with my brother."

"Tsk I'm not evenβ€”"

"You should flirt with me instead."

He winked and turned around again, face flushed.

(Y/N) just stood there, frozen in place. It took a few minutes for her to register what happened and was about to go inside her house when she suddenly remembered Randoubelle's existence.

Meanwhile, Ran was finished with the dishes when he felt a tingle run down his spine as he looked back, not noticing anything.

He was putting the dishes back to where they were supposed to be, feeling the eeriness of the atmosphere. He failed to notice Randoubelle's eyes staring at him though.
