Tima dropped her body onto Leilani's bed, the girl was stressing over her uni work and she couldn't find the right head space to work in. She glanced over to Leilani who was sitting at her study desk, tapping her pencil constantly on her journal.

"What if we just cheat on this test?" Tima suggested, sighing loudly as Leilani laughed. "We would be kicked out of school— don't even think about plagiarism." Leilani said, looking over to Tima as she laughed. "I wasn't! Just switch the words around!"

Hendery walked in the shared apartment with Xiaojun, not knowing the two girls were in Leilani's room. He immediately spotted their shoes near the front door as his stomach dropped.

"I gotta pee..I gotta pee.."

Tima opened the door and made her way to the bathroom. She didn't notice that the two had came in, only worrying about using the bathroom after a long study session.

"So..Xiuying's here.." Hendery mentioned his younger sister, seeing that Tima had closed her bedroom door. "Did she really cheat on you? Did you find out with who?" he questioned, glancing over to Xiaojun as he looked away.

"Yeah she did and it's someone we know personally."

"Wait what? Someone in our friend group?"

"Yeah, i'm just over everything right now.." Xiaojun mumbled as the two were walking towards Hendery's room. "I still can't believe it, after seven years of dating? Why would she do that?" the older sibling sighed, saddened at the fact that his sister and best friend's relationship was tearing apart.

"She's an attention whore that's all. I don't even care about her anymore.." Xiaojun whispered to himself, Hendery side eyed him, wondering where the sudden attack on Leilani was coming from. "She's what?" Tima said, announcing her presence as the two froze.

"Xiaojun she's what? She's your girlfriend, not a fucking attention whore you bitch. Why the hell are you talking down on her like that and why are you Hendery letting him say that? You! Her own brother!" Tima slowly rose her voice within each syllable she spoke.

She waited for them to say something, yet they stood quiet in front of her. Leilani opened her bedroom door, hearing the loud voices outside her room as she glanced at the three in the hallway.

"Tima, just come inside—"

"No, I won't. Tell me Xiaojun, why are you telling Hendery that Leilani's cheating? The accuser is always guilty of what's being accused, you know." Tima stared hard at Xiaojun, waiting for him
to say something back to her. "Why are you so quiet now? You weren't so quiet when you were talking shit about your own fucking girlfriend."

"Kantima, just come back. Please." Leilani took hold of Tima's arm, attempting to pull her back into the room. "Why aren't you saying anything Xiuying? Do you know already?" Tima then turned to Leilani, watching her eyes gloss as her heart dropped.

Tima turned on her heel and rose her hand until Hendery stopped her. "What the hell is wrong with you?! Cheating on your girlfriend of seven years almost eight?!" Hendery held her back tightly as Leilani tried pulling Tima off him. "It's none of your business Tima." Xiaojun said.

"It may not be, but you're hurting my fucking best friend Xiaojun! And the fact that she knows makes it even worse! If you're not willing to change then just leave her alone!" Tima then grabbed Leilani and took her away from the two, leaving the apartment with them standing in silence.
