Cassidy POV {They are all 15}

I was sitting on my bed, playing on my XBOX when all of a sudden one of my friends messaged me.

"Hey, I found this new game and was wondering if you wanted to try it with me?" The message read.

I thought for a second and asked for the name, "What's it called?"

"It's called Overwatch." He replied. It seemed pretty fun, I agreed to try it with him and went to go install it.

When it was finally done installing I messaged my friend, "I got it." He replied quickly, "Alright, make an account and I'll add you."

I smiled and made up the username, "H1GHN00N".

My friend added me and we got into a game. I had no idea how to play since I did not pay attention the tutorial but oh well.

I was trying out all the characters and so far I think my favourite is a damage character called "Mcree."

He was a cowboy and in my opinion, the best character in the game.

It seemed my friend had become fond of the character "Genji." He was also a damage character and as time went on we both became obsessed with the game.

It didn't take us long before we unlocked the mode "Competitive." After winning 50 quick play games.

We decided to queue for a competitive game and once we got in I noticed a few things that were different.

Like in this mode you have to do the payload maps twice?

It confused me a little at first but as time went on I got used to it and climbed the ranks.

I had made a lot of friends along the way. I was glad that I didn't have to solo queue every game, even when the friend who had introduced me to the game was offline.

One day, I was queueing with one of my friends, her name was Olivia and she mained a character called "Sombra."

She was a higher rank than me so we could on play in quick play {I was Diamond and she was GM.}

Anyway, we got into a game and were just trolling. You know like, saying hi to the enemies and shit.

That was until this guy playing Hanzo killed and Tbagged me. I wouldn't mind that he killed me if he didn't Tbag.

I told Olivia and we targetted him the rest of the game. Each time we'd Tbag him he'd put a "?" in the main chat.

We laughed at him trying to act dumb. We won that game and after it had finished I noticed that I had recieved a friend request from "ドラゴン ".

I was confused then remembered who he was. I told Olivia, "The dude from last game added me." She laughed and said, "He's probably just mad, don't accept."

I thought for a second. "But it'll be funny if he is mad." I snickered.

She shrugged and replied, "I guess. How about you accept and invite him? So we can voice chat with him."

And with that I accepted to the request and sent him a group invite.

He joined and I typed to him, "Join VC." He took a while to reply but eventually said okay and joined the voice chat. Me and Olivia both waited for him to speak.

"こんにちは? " I heard from my headset. His voice had a nice mix of roughness and smoothness.

"Uhm we speak English, sorry?" Olivia said, trying not to seem rude.

"Ah- I-I see. I said, hello?" Damn his voice sounded even better in English.

I was too distracted to respond until I heard Olivia clear her throat. "Oh uhm, why did you add me?" I asked him, trying to sound as clear as possible since I assumed he didn't speak much English.

"Friend?" He said blankly. This confused me a little. A minute ago we were Tbagging eachother and now he wanted to be friends.

Olivia started, "Huh? Weren't you just-" But I quickly cut her off, "We'd love to be friends with you." I exclaimed.

Olivia made an "Eh" sound before agreeing.

"Great, I am.. new to Overwatch?" He said, sounding a little unsure of his English.

I assured him it sounded fine by answering him. "That's great, who do you like to play?"

He thought for a moment and replied. "Hanzo. Same name."

"Your name is Hanzo?" I asked him.

"Yes." He replied, sounding pretty proud of himself.

We had a small conversation before queuing into another game, eventually Olivia had to leave so it was just me and him.

I had a lot of fun playing with him, he was a pretty nice guy.

It was about 22:00 (10pm) for me. I was about to get off before asking, "Where do you live, by the way?"

"Japan." He said happily. This meant it was about 12pm for him. "Alright well I'm going to go to sleep now, have a good day Hanzo." I told him.

We both said bye and I turned my XBOX off, climbing into my bed. I had learned a few things about him.

He was 15, the same age as me. He was Japanese, and his favourite colour is dark blue.

I hate to say it but he was kind of cute. I've never thought that way about a boy though, so I just kind of brushed it off.
