For most if not all of this book you are going to be referred to as Ryuk, your real name is your own name it's just easier for me to have a distinct name to call you, your last name will also be Onimaru.

Also I have am also writing another BNHA book at the same time as this one, the other is completely different though and is gender neutral with a Pokémon trainer energetic reader. While this one Ryuk is very monotone, and generally stoic. But don't mistake that for him being emotionally stunted, he is actually very in tune  with others emotions, due to his quirk he just prefers to keep his own balanced so he will have control at all times.

Unless he is around his mother, Yami Onimaru, she is the one who he got the Crow controller quirk from, she is a very kind lady, extremely sweet and energetic, she is for now the only one to get her son Ryuk to be decently energetic and expressive. She was the one who nicknamed him Ryuk after the her favorite anime Death Note because of style her son seemed to enjoy from a young age, also because since she watched it all the time his first word was Ryuk.

Ryuk's father, Kurai Onimaru, passed 2 days after his first word, Ryuk can't say he really grieved him due to being so young but he does really wish for a father role growing up with no father role didn't have a good affect on him. His fascination with death was cause by his father's passing, questioning why he was chosen to die at such a happy time, if he did anything to deserve it or if death really is random.

Ryuk inherited his illness quirk from his father, that's 1 of the 3 things he knows about him Yami doesn't like to talk about him still mourning. The second thing he is aware of is his father enjoyed the dark aesthetic along with his mother, typically spotted with gothic crosses and rarely seen wearing any bright color other then red, the natural heavy eye bags (that Ryuk also unfortunately inherited) that he had tied the whole look together. The third thing is that his father's favorite death note character was also Ryuk follows closely by L just like his Son.

Now for Ryuks appearance, this book does not mention skin tone at all, so no matter your skin your able to enjoy this book, the only thing that is mentioned is having a black hair, and eyes, and having heavy eye bags.
