Today are the UA entrance exams I was woken up 3 hours before the test started by my mom frantically shaking me, nervously shouting I had to start getting ready.

"Ryuk! Ryuk baby you have to wake up!!!"

"Momma they don't start for another 3 hours I'm fine."

"Exactly 3 hours!!! You have no time! Get up!!!"

I was forced out of bed by my mom, she has a habit of getting ready at an ungodly time before having to wait for 2 hours because she got ready too early. At least she made an amazing breakfast that I ate as she explained how the food she made she especially prepared and researched for today.

Despite my mom's protests, I waited until I had an hour and a half to start getting ready, I would've waited longer but if I did I guarantee my mom would've had a heart attack.

I brushed my teeth and then pretty quickly did my hair not putting too much effort considering all my movement would probably mess it up anyway so what's the point? After that, I got dressed in a basic all-black workout outfit.

"Alright, Mommas let's go, I'm ready" I slowly speak as I walk back downstairs.

"Ryuk my love could you be any slower!-" she abruptly cut off when she turned away from the dishes to me, I tilt my head slightly confused and confusingly look behind me and back at her to see what she is looking at.

She notices my confusion and quickly grabs a towel to dry her hands while explaining.

"I'm sorry honey, you just look so much like your father sometimes. You both are so handsome"

As she said the last part she walked up to me and pinched my cheek which I half-heartedly try to push away from while having a small smile on my face. After that wholesome moment, my mom put on her pink coat-like dress and walked to the car me in tow.

When we got there I was about to say goodbye to my mom when she grabbed both my hands and put them in between hers looking on the verge of tears while also smiling.

"I'm so proud of you for wanting to be a hero! You're strong my little Shinigami so go show 'em who's boss!!!" My mom excitedly shouts and encourages me, I let out a small, content hum and nod my head.

"Oh and one more thing! If this school doesn't work out which I doubt it won't, but if it does it's okay they're are plenty of other schools, my love."

"I know momma don't worry. But either way, we won't have to worry about them I'm gonna pass."

She smiles at me, tears in her eyes as we say our goodbyes and she drives away, I'm slightly worried about her driving in that state but I left an extra crow in the car so if anything happens I'll be first to know.

Now that my mom isn't here I go back into my completely blank face, as I walk up to the doors to UA I notice the green-haired kid from before I quickly cover my face with my hood and walk past them not wanting to deal with some heartfelt apology or thank you from him right now.

To whatever Shinigami hates me, I'm sorry.

"Oh, it's you! From the sludge attack!" I hear from the green-haired boy I freeze and mentally prepare myself before looking up.

"Hi."
"Hello! Thank you for your help that day... if it wasn't for you I'd be a spot on the ground!" He said as he bowed to me.

"My name is Izuku Midoriya! Yours is?..."

'God dammit why can't you just be ungrateful?'

"Y/n Onimaru. Please call me Ryuk." I said monotone taking off my hood and lifting my arm to have a crow land on it before I continue.

"Don't mention it, none of us got badly injured and that's all that matters," I say before walking away towards the entrance doors already feeling my social battery drained despite barely speaking.

I sit down in the huge room in a chair 3 rows from the front since everyone else filled up the back seats first, lucky for me no one I know or that looks annoying sits next to me as I wait for the blonde dude up front to start speaking.

I feel bad for the dude who I learned was Present Mic, as he started to try to get some cheers but got none, seeing him stand there like an idiot made me mentally recoil in embarrassment despite my face not changing, I half-heartedly let out a woo that he immediately notices.

"See! this kid knows how to be a sport! Now for the main event! Are you ready?!"

Silence...

He proceeds to explain the rather simple test we're about to take I zone out for most of it since it's pretty self-explanatory until I hear someone ask a question do I snap out of my dreamland.

"There are 4 not 3 on the handout, if this a mistake it's shameful! Also you with the unkempt hair! Stop muttering your distracting us."

If I was next to the stuck-up kid I probably would've defended Midoriya or at least said a snarky comment but I wasn't going to shout across the building just to defend someone I barely know.

Present Mic proceeds to explain that the 4th robot is a zero pointer and is more of an obstacle then something actually useful.

'Alright let's do this.'

As stand outside the other set of giant doors already and wait to be let inside I look around making sure I didn't see anyone I recognized or someone that would be a direct challenge, not seeing any particular threat I get ready.

"GO!"

I started running immediately hearing some others confused at the lack of a countdown, I use the slight head start to immediately send out around 15 crows and sent 3 in the air forward, left, and right.

I've always been a fast runner and naturally strong, so getting far ahead wasn't too much of a problem as the leftover 12 crows follow me I bring up the circle I make with my fingers back up to my eye once more.

"Crow vision. The one I sent forward show me what you see."

I stop in my tracks as I look through the eyes of the crow I sent forward I see one 2-point bot up ahead and slightly behind it another 1-point bot. I immediately race to the area where I saw them, lucky for me I was able to stop by a couple of places after I ate breakfast.

A skate park, and the waiting room of a hospital, collecting some injuries, common stomach bugs, etc which I collected to enhance my physical strength, so I was faster then normal and stronger I had my crows deal with the 2-point bot as a murder while I dealt with the 1 point by myself.

I ran up and jumped at the robot smashing my foot into the top and landing shin-deep into its wires, I easily pull out my leg and continue.

The entire entrance exam got pretty repetitive after that, I  used my crows as a view from above and stopped to get some energy from other injured kids on the way. When I saw the 0-pointer I wasn't exactly surprised it seemed weird to have one average-sized obstacle, I mean it's UA the kids who pass always do so with flying colors 99% of the time.

In the end, I scored 83 points and 64 rescue points which I think is pretty damn good for someone who has never seriously fought anyone besides a training dummy.

I ended up walking home after the practical and written exam, I know I passed the written exam with at least a 70% I've always been a naturally smart kid without having to put in a lot of effort.

I arrive at my house and pull out my keys hands fumbling as I put the key in the slot and open the door immediately my nostrils are ambushed with the smell of my mom's wonderful cooking, and my ears are flooded with sounds of the character L  doing detective research from the booming TV,  my mom has watched this show so much she can tell you everything that's happening without looking at the screen.

"Oh! Ryuk baby you're home! I made your favorite I'm sure your hungry after kicking ass!"

"I sure am, thanks, momma."

As I stuffed my face full my of mother's cooking as I listened to the words of my mother and answered her occasional questions, she mostly just rambled about how cool I'd be as a hero.

"Have you thought of your hero name yet? Or maybe your costume?"

"Momma we don't even know if I got in yet" I let out a light chuckle at my mom's excitement.

"I do know! You 100% got in! Your combination of quirks is amazing my love, not to mention you got pretty privilege!" My mom leaned over the table and pinched my food stuff cheeks as she spoke and I let out small whines, I swallow and then respond.

"Yeah, hopefully, your right."

I wrote this chapter then woke up from a traumatizing nightmare 12 hours later
