Four years had passed since the day they were locked away.
Since that day, the twins had reached the ages of 17.

Usually at the age of 17, teenagers would be falling in love and out partying. But not the twins.

At the age of 17, Evan would be casually climbing the bars of their cell which the two liked to call the bird cage since it resembled one very much. Meanwhile, Ella would be reading the book Batman had given her for what seemed to be the hundredth time.

Batman? He would visit and checkin with the twins every fortnight. Because of this, he had also made sure that they were being fed decent food and not the vomit mess the prison called a meal.

The sound of the metal opening got the twins to stop their actions. The door screeched open, sounding like a dying animal screaming for its life.

"Your food is here little birdies!" Griggs snarled as he approached their cage. Evan stood tall as he walked towards the guard.

"Your lucky you've got the bat checking in on you or else you would of been eating toe nail soup" Grigg hissed, spit flying onto Evan's cheek.

Grigg got the bag if apples, bananas and couple of grapes. He chucked it in, Evan speedily caught it before giving the man a slight scoff which Grigg had noticed.

"Oh are you getting funny with me boy?" Grigg cackled as he reached into his pocket and pulled out a little square machine. With an evil smirk, Grigg clicked the big red button which sent a signal to the collar that was around Evan and Ella's necks, electrocuting them.

Both twins fell to the ground, curling their bodies over in pain, all while Griggs howled with laughter. Griggs had finally pressed the button for a second time that shut it off and lets say Evan was not happy.

"Why did you electrocute her?!" Evan growled as he sped to the cages bars and tightened his hands around them, his nails slowly turning into claws.

"because...why not?" This comment only made Evan angrier, his teeth now turning into fangs with a low wolf like growl leaving his lips.

"Down mutt! don't want me pressing this little button again do you?" Grigg taunted the button in front of Evan's face. Evan would of gladly bit the guards hand off but right now, his priority was taking care of his sister, so with a low groan, he backed down.

"Good doggy" Grigg laughed.

Evan returned to his sister with their food, helping her calm down from being electrocuted before letting her eat some grapes.

Griggs was saying something to the two but they had learnt to mute his voice out, and  after a few minutes, he left.

Amanda Waller, a high-ranking United States government official was now sat at a fancy dinning table with three very important government officials who she was now telling about her new Task X Force Project.

"Evan and Ella Novatelli, or known as The Trouble Twins"

"First you show us a hit-man, a meta human, a witch and now two kids?" One man questioned in disbelief.

"Oh these are no ordinary kids. They are...extraordinary and very dangerous when you get on their bad side" Amanda stated as she carelessly threw a photo on the table of a dismembered man without a blink of an eye. The three men all gagged and nearly spat out the steak in their mouths.

"And their story is very similar to Dr. Moon's except it wasn't their stupidity that got them into this mess" Amanda explained.

"Then whose was it?" One man asked.

"Their biological father...who did the wrong thing at the wrong moment"

It was a dark day in the Novatelli home.

Only a few weeks ago the Novatelli family had lost two major figures, Caroline Novatelli and Dominic Novatelli, the mother and eldest son of the house. At the time, little twins Evan and Ella were just turning the ripe ages of ten.

Benjamin Novetelli, the now single father of two was slowly losing his mind with grief. He wanted nothing but to have his dear wife and son back in his life, in his twins lives.

He would do anything to get them back.

and it seemed like the devil knew that...

so he decided to whisper a little something into the ears of  Benjamin Novatelli.

An idea had appeared in his head. Benjamin knew that his wife was very much intrigued by magic and witchcraft, always reading books that seemed to enchant her. So in a rush, he jumped to his feet and ran into his wives study room where she would learn about such things and began searching through everything.

Books were thrown and bottles were tipped over, causing a big ruckus which caught the attention of the twins.

The twins glanced at each other before getting up and slowly peaking around the corner. They spotted their father in their mothers study, he seemed to be tipping some sort of powder what seemed to be a circle and some weird pattern in between. He had his nose stuck in a book and the twins grew curious so they approached the door and watched.

the twins looked closer at the book and saw that it read 'necromancy' but being young, they had no clue on what that meant.

Benjamin read he words from the book, he had no clue what it translated to due to the fact the spell was in a foreign language but he didn't care. The only thing that mattered was that the spells title read "Bring back to life" and that's all he needed o understand.

As he finished reading the spell, blizzard like air went swirling throughout the room as a bright red light come out from the circle like a flame.

'This was it' Benjamin thought.
'He was going to get his wife and son back'

He grew excited as two figures rose from the red flames.

"Honey? Dom? Is that you?" Benjamin called out but when he got a closer look, he soon realized his mistake.

How? 

Because lithe doesn't remember his little Dominic didn't have demon claws or sharp fangs.

And he couldn't remember the love of his life having long white hair or a blue iridescent symbol in the middle of her forehead.

But he most definitely remembered that his family didn't have glowing yellow eyes that sent chills up his back.

"Honey~ I'm home"  'Caroline' cheerily sung, her voice sounding like a broken record tape that was uncomfortably slowed down.

Benjamin frantically flipped the pages of the book, trying to find a counter spell when something  interrupted...or someone.

"Dad?" Ella squeaked. Their fathers head swung up and his eyes widened.

'Caroline' and 'Dominic' noticed the kids and  their terrifying smirks widened.

"Evan! Ella! Get out of here! You can't be-" Benjamin tried running to his kids but 'Caroline' rose her left hand, Benjamin flying right into the corner of the bookshelves. Ella screamed as she heard the crunch of his fathers bones breaking apart. Evan was frozen, he let fear hold his feet to the ground, even as the two demonic figures began walking towards them.

"Evan! Come on! Please!" Evan could hear his sisters whimpering and sobbing but his feet were glued to the ground, his eyes staring into the eyes of the demon who was playing his brother.

He was in a trance and he hated it, trying to so desperately break out of it. When he had finally broken out of his trance, he screamed in fear and guilt. Evan watched as his sister was being dragged by his 'mother' and as a red, menacing mist crawled into Ella's body through the mouth and eyes.

"Ella!" He cried as her body went limp. Evan jumped forward but his 'brother' had dug his nails into Evan's arms, pulling him back.

"My turn" 'Dominic' smiled before the same red mist started entering Evan's body and that red being the last thing the two kids remembered that night.

"So you are saying these two kids are possessed...by demons" the man sighed while pinching the bridge of his nose.

"Yes, and not only that, they earned their demon powers which no one taught them how to control. They were adopted and eventually, all secrets are revealed" Amanda started.

"Their adoptive parents figured out about their abilities and labeled them as freaks. They became targets for bullies at school and one day they just...lost control" Amanda finished her explanation in a amused one.

"Lost control? they killed nearly half their grade"

"Well...Karma's a bitch" Amanda stated as she took a sip of her wine.
