CHAPTER SIX

"i got my mind set on you..."

The next few days passed with nothing important happening during them. It was pretty much work, work, work, food&sleep and work on repeat. Soon enough Saturday came around and we all decided to meet at the club  Kassidy was currently working. That meant I had to go there with the boys.

This is gonna be a wild ride.

I woke up, went on my morning jog, had a shower, cooked breakfast and I was now helping Kassidy get ready for

"What about this?" Kassidy asked. "You'd look amazing in it but I think it's a bit too casual."  "Damn you're right" she said and we continued searching her closet "This?" I asked while showing what I picked for her. "I like the color combination but I think the dress is a bit too formal" "True"

Would you believe me if I said we've been doing this for hours?

"Aye what about this?" "That's actually perfect! Put it on!" and that's exactly what she did.

When she finally tried it on she did a small twirl and grinned.

My jaw dropped.

"That's the one. That's it. You look beautiful, breathtaking, showstoppin-" "I get it Jules" she cut me off and we slightly laughed. "but hey you know what would make it even better?" "What?" "Your black leather jacket" "Oh my god yes! Can you please hand it to me?" "Here."

She wore the jacket and I swear I saw her confidence go up.

"Wow I actually look pretty okay!" "PRETTY OKAY??? PRETTY OK???" "Shut up" Kass said as her face turned red and I chuckled. "Seriously tho, you look great." "Thanks" "Let's do your hair and make-up now"

I curled her hair but she chose to do most of her make-up alone which I completely understood.

After all that fancy stuff was over we heard a knock on the door which meant Duff was here.

"Good luck!" I wished and she thanked.  "Are you ready to go doll?" Duff said trying to look cool even tho when he first laid his eyes on Kassidy he almost chocked on air and he lost his words. Can't blame him tho.

That b*tch is breathtaking!

"Don't have too much fun! You're too young for kids!" I said as the both flipped me off making me laugh

And off they went....

They grow up so fast.

I realised for how long I'd be stuck home alone until its actually time to go out so I decided I would cook 3 cakes. One for us, one for Slash, Duff and Steven and one for Axl and Izzy.

I got the ingredients out and started mixing.

Not so soon enough I had the last cake in the oven but I heard a knock on the door. I opened and the GnR boys appeared. Without Duff of course.

"Hello there Hot Stuff" Slash said and winked.

The fact that I could tell he winked through the lion mane he calls hair is incredible.

"We are hungry." Steven said. "Don't you have food at your places? I feel like I'm feeding stray cats!" I whined.

"Aw common Juliette. Sharing is caring!" Axl said as he gave me a big ol' fake sweet smile. "Fine. Get in you shitheads I made you food anyway."

"They are pretty fresh so they are probably still warm but that shouldn't be a problem. Do you want anything to drink?"

Izzy didn't even say hello when they all arrived which made me a bit confused.

"Could you please bring me a glass of water?" Izzy finally spoke. "coming right up. Anything else?"
"Do you have beer?" "Slash I made cake, are you sure you want a beer to drink while you eat cake?" I said with emphasis on the word "cake". "Yep!" Slash replied "Dingus."

"Here you go" I said as I handed  Izzy the glass and Slash his beer. "Thank you." Izzy said and gave me a small smile which I gladly returned. "So where exactly is the bar we're going at?" "Just around the corner, I bet you've gone there a lot of times." "Are you kidding? We go there every Sunday." Slash said "Damn do you ever stay at your apartment?" I said and laughed "Not really" Steven said and laughed too. "I was right. You are like stray cats." "And you're the crazy cat lady that's feeding us." Izzy said making me laugh  "It all makes bloody sense now" I said and served them cake.

We ate, laughed, ate some more, laughed some more but the boys had to leave so I could get ready,

I wanted to look good and looking good takes time.

I gave each duo their cakes and waved at them.

Izzy quickly came back tho. "I forgot something, sorry" "No worries, happens to all of us. Let me remind you. I forgot my f*cking keys and got locked out of my apartment" I said as I looked down embarrassed and we slightly laughed. Izzy grabbed a small brown box and started to leave but before he walked out he turned around, looked at me up and down and said "You look very pretty sweetheart"

I think my heart just melted AGAIN.

I was not wearing any makeup and was literally wearing shorts and a shirt covered in flour.

"Oh f*ck off Stradlin." "I'm serious Juliette." he said

Someone should tell him that him saying  my name is illegal and very dangerous.

"Thank you Jeffrey, you don't look bad yourself." I said. He then winked, turned around and left.

I stared at the now closed door and bit my lip.

God he's hot.

I realised I had zoned out and quickly snap out of it so I could actually get ready. I had a quick shower again, dried my hair but before I could do anything else I had to pick my outfit.

Here we go again.

After what felt like hours of looking through my closet I found a nice dark red dress and tried it on. It was just a little bit more revealing from the clothes that I usually wear

probably because I barely ever wear dresses

but it wasn't that big of a deal so I settled on that. I did some light make-up, did my hair and I was ready to go. But I was surprisingly early so I read a book until I heard the classic knock on the door. I opened and of course it was none other than Izzy.

"Oh look it's my favourite stray cat!" "Aw am I re- wow Juliette you look amazing..." "Thank you very much" "I mean seriously you- wow." I slightly laughed at his reaction. "So where are the others?" I said, breaking the silence that filled the room "Uh yeah right umm... They are outside" "Do we really have to gooo??" I whined "Yes we do doll." "But why? We could stay here, listen to some music, away from all the creeps!" "You're going to support your best friend at her new job" "Dammit you're right..." "Hey  it's going to be fine. If anyone approaches you and makes you feel uncomfortable, you come to me alright? And if you can't I'll have my mind on you so I'll come" "Thank you Izzy but it's not just the creeps... It's people in general. I get nervous on crowded places" "Oh I didn't know that. I guess time feels appropriate now." He said as he put his hand on his pocket searching for something while I gave him a confused look. He pulled out the brown box he forgot over at our apartment and gave me a small smile "Remember how I told you I made necklaces?"
