Hiccup's POV
It's still early in the morning in the Nest while the rest is still sleeping. I went to the kitchen in my dragon form to get some fish from the barrel when someone was already up. "You're up already?" I asked my mate in her dragon form. "I can't sleep. I'm just nervous about what would happen if our mission was failed? What if it's just a myth? What if-" I stopped her. "Astrid, stop. Everything is going to be okay. I promise that," I told her. "Promise?" She asked. "I promise," I replied before Astrid snuggle at me. What a sweet morning to start the day.
After some breakfast, the gang and I are preparing to set off to find Night Fury Island. Mom, Ingrid, and Hannah stayed behind to protect the Nest. As I was packing, I suddenly felt a hand on my shoulder. When I turn around, I saw Snotlout with a worried face. "Are you sure we're going to do this journey? I mean, Night Furies are rarely existed," Snotlout asked. "I'm sure Snotlout. Besides, that's where Astrid and my mothers come from alongside Gothi," I answered as I hugged him before continuing to prepare. Once we're ready, we took off saying goodbye to the riders who were left behind to protect the Nest.
Astrid's POV
I started to think about the last riddle that was written in the lens while the gang and I are flying towards the west off the map of the archipelago. As I was thinking about it, I didn't notice until Luna coons me. "Don't worry, Astrid. Everything will be fine. Besides, if we don't find it, you should stay becoming the one who reunites two worlds alongside Hiccup," Luna said. "I know, Luna. I hope so," I whispered. As we fly past by islands after islands, I could sense Snotlout worries about me and Hiccup, Fishlegs was worried about Meatlug due to the dragons' exhaustion. After a few hours of flying, I suddenly smell something. The scent of a dragon. "Did you smell that, Astrid?" Hiccup asked and I nodded along with the dragons agreed. For the moment we knew, the gang and I were amazed about the island ahead of us. It was big as a mountain, and the top reached the clouds. As we fly over the top, we could see waterfalls falling from the edge of the cliff. "Uh, is it just me, or is there a village nearby the waterfalls?" We heard Tuffnut asked pointing at something down below. From what we saw, we saw a village that was abandoned for hundreds of years. Watchtowers at the edge of the cliff, village houses around the mountains, there was a plaza at the center, and the Great Hall doors at the front side of the hill. The next one was different. We land at the plaza and unmount to look around. We check the houses that are locked and budged and take a look at the watchtowers. When we finished looking around, we heard Hiccup gasped. We looked at him to find him looking at the statue of a man and a Night Fury. Hiccup knelt to read the letters that are written in Dragonese.

As Hiccup read it, we suddenly heard a door open and we realized Hiccup opened the door to the Great Hall. Once we entered, to our surprise, we see statues everywhere clearing a path to what seems to be the throne at the circle. Every statue we've seen are humans in hair braids and Night Furies behind them. We've walked this far for a while when we heard Ruffnut yelped. "Uh, there's a hole here," Ruffnut said as she pointed at the hole.
Hiccup's POV
I looked at the hole Ruffnut pointed at before I was saw something. A symbol. I pulled out one of the Dragon Eye lenses and point at the hole to fit the match. As I look at it, a strong smell appeared around the circle. I gasped at what we were about to do. "Everyone, grab the lenses, find the match of the hole, and wait for my signal," I called as I handed them all the lenses. Once they matched them, I pulled out the Dragon Eye and put it at the hole on the throne. "Ready?" I alerted the gang before we all pushed them at the specific holes. When it's done, at first I thought nothing happened, but the circle suddenly glowing in blue. We looked at where was the light leads before we were surprised to see the humans and Night Furies started to turn alive from the stones. We could see them happy and we could hear them cheering and happy when one of them stepped closer to us. She smelled us at first, but when she smells me, she was shocked and suddenly bowed at me and saying, "Our Prince," And the other humans and dragons bowed at me. The gang and I were shocked about this. So, it was confirmed. Night Furies do exist, they only disappeared because they are part of the Dragonwalkers.
Once the whole island was now fixed thanks to the magic, the Dragonwalkers are settling us in while I was talking to one of them known as the commander of the guard Eret explaining the reason for their extinction. "Us Night Furies are known to be the strongest dragons of all of their kind and land, and we believe that if the Vikings or Hunters hunt us, it would be no good. There's also one person who tries to kill us. Gilbert the Wild is one of them. But that was forty-five years ago from now. And since you freed us, my Prince, we would never do the possible threats without the ruler of our kind and tribe," Eret explained as both of us are walking towards the watchtower. "My mom never told my dad about this," I muttered. "That's for our safety. We always kept it from the archipelago and the great beyond. I wish if they knew this, they would fear us, but, your grandfather-our leader-was right, we would hunt down by them if we told them the truth," He said while looked upon the vast ocean with his arms on the railings. "By the way, how's your mother? The last time I saw her as a hatchling during the ceremonial birth we've made," He asked. "She's fine. She's at the Dragon Sanctuary with my sister, and my mate's mother," I answered before I saw him surprised. "I didn't know you have a sister," He said smiling. "So am I," I replied joining him at the railings.
Astrid's POV
As I knew that Hiccup was talking with Commander Eret, I was at the plaza being around with men, but Luna, the gang, and their dragons are blocking them thanks to Snotlout who knew what was gonna happen next if I was around with men. For a while later, Hiccup and Toothless came back from the talk looking at us weirdly. "What's going on here?" Hiccup asked, and the twins pointed at the men with some gifts for me. He shakes his head in frustration and pulled me to him causing the men to get jealous. "Hey, Hiccup? I asked one of the villagers that time if they knew about Light Furies and their abilities, and they said that they knew them rarely," Fishlegs spoke. "Rarely? Why?" Hiccup asked. "Because they said Light Furies are Albinos," Fishlegs answered making me surprised. "What's an albino?" Tuffnut asked stupidly. "Well, albino is a disease in which a person or animal having white skin and hair, and pink or purple eyes. Light Furies, in this case, are different types of Strike Class dragon species and almost not identical to Night Furies. In which, Light Furies who are born with Night Furies are pretty rare to them," Fishlegs explained as he read through the book he was borrowed. "Well, I do seem to have a point there, Fishlegs. I mean, born as an albino to the Night Furies are weird," I said as I scratch Luna's chin. "I agree with Astrid. And it would be worse if any men attract with one," Snotlout said glaring at the jealous men. "Hey. Since we are done with the mission, should we tell this to your mom when we get back to the Nest?" Ruffnut asked. "Sure, we should. I'll go talk to Eret if it's okay for us to leave," Hiccup said before he left.
Valka's POV
"Mom! They're back!" I heard my daughter called me, and Ingrid and I ran out to check. Upon seeing was a group of dragons over a pack of unknown ones. As they came to view, I realized that the unknown dragons are the lost Night Furies. They found it! I hopped on Cloudjumper as we flew to them along with Ingrid and Hannah with Stormfly. Once Cloudjumper and I landed, one of the Night Fury members bowed at me as I hopped off of my dragon. "Princess Valkyrie. We are glad that you are alive and safe," One of them in guard armor said. "Thank you," I said as I bowed at them. "Commander Eret," He introduced as he held out his hand and I shook it with mine. "Well, most of us likes to stay with the Night Furies while one of us must stay to protect the Nest," Hiccup spoke. "You may seem to have a point there, my Prince," Eret said. "I can go with them. If that's okay," Hannah suggested. "Of course, Hannah. You can go with them," I said hugging Hannah. "What about you, Mom?" Astrid asked her mother. "I guess I should stay with Valka for now," Ingrid said and Astrid smiled.
Hiccup's POV
After we visited the Nest, I, the gang, and the Night Furies flew back to Night Fury Island to celebrate the hybrids' return. Most of the Villagers used their healing powers at Toothless making his tail fin grew back again so he could fly on his own. In the celebration, it's good for them that they used fruit juice as drinks because they are forbidden to use strong liquid such as mead, and they used their fire powers to cook their treats whenever they like. As it process, music started playing making the hybrids group dance together.
"Care to dance, M'lady?" I asked Astrid when she was beside me. "Why of course, my Prince," Astrid replied holding her hand to mine, and we dance with them. As we dance, we spin, twirl, skip, and hold hands with our partners. When the dance ends, everyone applauds the scene. "Hey, Hiccup," Astrid said pointing at something in our left. I turn to my left to see Tuffnut and Hannah held hands together with their heavy breathing for exhaustion. Astrid and I chuckled at their moment before we saw them leaving, and we left as well. It's been forty-five years of their disappearance, and when we face the future, it would be a whole lot bigger.
