Hiccup's POV

It's been five years since we've been through a lot of crazy events. We've gone on adventures, saving dragons, make new allies, and make new enemies. Back to memory lane, after the Night Furies become existed, we've become friends with the Berserkers, the Outcast, and Viggo who become the former member of the Dragon Hunters for betrayal. A few days later, Mala was informed that her people and her island is erupting and decided to evacuate because their Eruptodon was very ill and slowly dying, and even can't bring its egg to the volcano, so they leave their island and decided to live with us. Next, the Wingmaidens decides to live with us and ordered themselves to protect baby dragons instead of baby Razorwhips because they already knew that the mother and the newborns are too dangerous for the males. One other time, when our new Night Fury Riders got under attack by hunters during the rescue, they were saved by new riders known as the Paladins of the Titan Wings consisting of Five Titan Wing Dragons, and Five Riders. Also, we went into many Dragon Wars and we ended up victorious with the dragons who are happily lost their tortured riders and hunters such as Ryker, Johann, Krogan, Drago, and Grimmel. And Astrid and I become the new alphas of Dragons after battling against Drago's Bewilderbeast. And speaking of that, before this happened, the gang decided that they want to become part of the Dragonwalkers because they had enough of becoming Berkians anymore, and I'm not sure if that would work but that's their choice and nothing else. But fun fact, in the end, they even move on for a better life. Fishlegs started teaching the hatchlings about the difference between the dragons, and he and Ruffnut started dating for a while. Tuffnut ended up in the forge helping Blacksmiths creating inventions, weapons, and saddles made out of Gronkle Iron, hard crystals from the Hidden World, and Dragon Scales. Hannah hesitantly asks Tuff to go out with him after their long-time bond with one another. And one of the Wingmaiden members started to get affections on Snotlout who was avoiding every girl who likes her while he's working with Tuffnut, and she and Snotlout ended up together for a while after she thanked him for doubting herself. As for me and Astrid, we've been together for five long years, and I love her with anything she has within her. And I hope that today is the one we will ever achieve.

I was pacing back and forth in the room of my own house, staring at something I would get nervous about when I heard a knock at my door. "Hiccup? Are you there? I can hear you pacing around," It was Hannah. "Yeah, I'm fine. I'm just nervous about something," I said starting at the object I was holding. Hannah opened the door to see me in this situation before her eyes went to my hands. "What is that?" She asked. "Well, this was my betrothal gift for Astrid. It means we'll be together forever," I said as I showed her the amulet.

"Aww! That's sweet of you, Brother," Hannah said placing her arms on my shoulder. "She's the lucky maiden for you," She teased. "Thanks. Wait, aren't you be with Tuff right now?" I asked. "I wish, but he was helping out preparing for the festival," She said crossing her arms. 'That festival might be the one celebrating the year after the Dragon War,' I thought. "So, when are you gonna give it to her?" She asked. "Soon when the time comes," I replied facing back to the amulet.

Astrid's POV

I was at the edge of the cliff watching the view of the village with my eyes on my betrothed gift for Hiccup. My mom gave this to me and she told me her mother gave it to her when she's younger. As I stare at it, I could sense that Hiccup was around this area. I hid his gift and look at him with his hands at his back. "Hey, Hiccup," I said as he joins me to the view. "How's work?" I asked. "Pretty much. And we are sure of preparing for the festival," He said. "Oh, yeah, the Dragon Festival. We didn't even know that we would celebrate this event," I mentioned still thinking of the betrothal for a while. "Hey, Astrid? I wanted to tell you something," Hiccup spoke. "What is it?" I asked. He pulled out something from his back and I was surprised that it was an amulet. "This was my mother's Royal Betrothal Gift from Gothi," He said as he put the amulet on my neck. "And she gives it to me, to give it to you," He added as I admired the gift. "Thank you, Hiccup. I did also have one too," I said as I pulled out my gift for Hiccup.

"My mother's father found the crystal from the Hidden World, and he used it as an addition for his betrothal gift for my grandmother," I said as I put it on his neck and he smiled. "Astrid, you are part of our family. You'll always have me. And, I hoped you always will be," Hiccup said holding my hands. "Thank you, Hiccup," I replied before our faces were inches apart from us and we ended up kissing. Once we pulled apart, we pulled into a hug as Hiccup hums to a song I believe I heard before. "Remember this song? My mom told me that this is a traditional song for betrothed here in Night Fury Island. She uses this song to my dad when they are betrothed. And, this is one of my favorite lullabies," Hiccup explained before he continued humming.

"I'll swim and sail on savage seas
With never a fear of drowning

No scorching sun nor freezing cold

Hiccup holds his breath waiting for me to reply. I take a deep breath and continue.

"And love me for eternity..."

Hiccup and I stood up and walk away from the edge as I continued singing.

"My dearest one, my darling dear
Your mighty words astound me
But I've no need for mighty deeds
When I feel your arms around me"

Hiccup laughed as we start dancing with our arms together like swords before Hiccup continues the part.

"But I would bring you rings of gold
I'd even sing you poetry
And I would keep you from all harm
If you would stay beside me"

It's my turn to sing as we are held together and spin.

"I have no use for rings of gold
I care not for your poetry
I only want your hand to hold"

Hiccup sang.

"I only want you near me"

We kept dancing as we suddenly sing fast that we would be dizzy.

"To love and kiss to sweetly hold
For the dancing and the dreaming
Through all life's sorrows
And delights
I'll keep your laugh inside me
I'll swim and sail a savage seas
With never a fear of drowning
I'd gladly ride the waves so white
And you will marry me!"

We ended the song by Hiccup grab my waist and spin me around the air as we laughed at the moment we are together. We've been like this for a moment until we heard a roar of a Monstrous Nightmare approaching. We turn our heads to see the Red Paladin Yorak and his Titan Wing Dragon Sonicblaze. "Yorak, what's the report?" Hiccup asked as we pulled apart. "The Night Fury Riders reported that they found out about the plan of the Dragon Sacraments. And this one is not what we were expecting to realize," Yorak said. "I'm listening," Hiccup said. "They found out that Berk was inhabited by Vikings and Dragons," As he said, Hiccup and I were shocked to hear that Berk was making peace with dragons. "Call for the council meeting, tonight after dinner," Hiccup said and Yorak agreed before he and Sonicblaze left.

Hiccup's POV

"What?! Berk was now living with dragons?!" Snotlout shrieked as we gather around for the evening meeting. "Yes, that's what I said," Hannah said placing her arms on the table. "If that's possible, how did they found out about it?" Fishlegs asked. "Well, Green Paladin Katelynn is spying at Berk and the Dragon Sacraments for a while. She told me that Stoick is responsible for making the peace after he tamed a Rumblehorn with Gothi's help. And the two people-which she knew their names-Spitelout and Mildew become Outcast for trying to get rid of the dragons, and both of them joined the clan where Astrid's father and uncle were," She explained. "Quick question, why was my dad becoming Outcast?" Snotlout asked. "Probably he tries to get rid of my dad and claiming himself new chief," I answered suspiciously. "But, what can we do?" Mala asked. "We will warn Berk about the Dragon Sacraments' plan and tell them to evacuate the island and stay with us for their safety until the war is over," I explained as Sharpshot landed next to me. I attached a letter for Berk to his leg and told him to send it there fast and he flew off. "I will send the Paladins there when Berk accepts our message. But for now, we will wait and prepare. Meeting's over," I said before we all left the Great Hall.

Far and beyond, as I have been hide, to the hybrid dragons who are still alive. I can feel it. I can feel the hybrids are now alive and grown. Not only that, there was a tribe in the Barbaric Archipelago who has an affection for those bloodthirsty beasts. The resident of that tribe who is now appeared to be Outcasts joined us for hating dragons and told us that their old home was inhabited by them. I believe by far that our plan would be successful and nothing left behind. "Sir, the newbies are here," One of my members said. "Let them in," I ordered, and they let them in. "How are the preparations?" I asked. "Everything went good, Sir," One of them in black hair said. "Excellent," I spoke, raising myself from my throne. "Do you want us to help you with something?" The one with brown hair asked. "No need. I'll handle myself," I replied and the newbies bowed at me as I left the throne room to inspect the scene. "Soon, my beast... Soon..."
