Astrid's POV

The gang and I've been flying to the north for hours as I could hear the twins were exhausted, but I ignored that. Moments later, we could see fogs in front of us. "Guys, stay close," I said as we flew through the fog. Getting past through it, we could see an island covered in ice spikes and dragons everywhere. Our dragons flew through the cavern tunnels before we land on the surface. We unmounted our dragons and we were amazed to see dragons flying everywhere in which I presume is the nest, then some dragons approached us. We got scared don't know what to do, then our dragons came and protect us. As the dragons walk towards us, we heard a feminine voice. "Hey! What's going on here?!" Said the girl as she approaches us and the dragons flew off. The girl kinda resembles Hiccup, only the difference is that she's a girl and she has braids. "Who are you? And how did you find this nest?" She asked sarcastically as she pulled out her weapon which I knew as the staff. Before I answer her question, Snotlout spoke up. "We were here to look for a boy named Hiccup, and we knew he rides a Night Fury. We know he's here and we want to apologize to him for our mistakes," By Snotlout answering it, we heard a familiar voice that we are not ready to face within. "How did you know?" It was Hiccup, next to him was a Night Fury who was growling. Without even thinking, I pulled out my pendant to show them the proof and both him and the girl were shocked, then Hiccup pulled the same pendant in white as I realized it was the same pendant from the memory my mom showed me. "That's impossible," We heard Fishlegs spoke, then I saw the Night Fury's eyes become big like a cat upon seeing something. It took a second that I realized Luna walked towards the Night Fury, circling each other until their eyes were met. "I never expected to see a Light Fury before," I heard the girl said. "Me either," Hiccup replied. I fake cough to get their attention. "Um, should we settle in so we could explain the conclusions?" I said. "Oh, right. About that," Hiccup said and we followed him and the girl to the cave they were resided in along with our dragons. From there were a four-winged dragon and a lady who was in forty's cooking at the fireplace and came to realized that it was Hiccup's mother Valka. When she noticed us, her eyes landed on me, then she puts down her cooking and approached me then she had her hand on my pendant until she was shocked to know me. "Astrid?" She asked making the teens shocked at how did she know me. I lowered my head and nodded, then she embraced me to a hug which confuses me. "It's been so long since the last time I saw you with Hiccup during both your birth," Valka said which surprises me. Hiccup and I were born on the same day? "Come in. I'm almost done cooking lunch," She suggested and we walked in despite our surprised faces and curiosity. Hiccup introduces the girl which turned out to be his sister Hannah to us and our dragons I knew by their names. By the time we're done, Valka called us for lunch. While we were eating, Hiccup asking us why are we here, then we told them the whole story.

After we told them, Snotlout stood up. "Hiccup, we're very sorry. We didn't realize this sooner," He said as we could see tears forming from his eyes. "It's alright, Snotlout. We always make mistakes," Hiccup said as he stood up and hugged him. "Wait, so, you and Astrid are Dragonwalkers, right? Is it possible to turn into dragons when you guys were asleep?" Ruffnut asked. "It is possible, Ruffnut. If you were born or cursed with it, you would gain the ability of a dragon," Hannah answered. "Is there a way to become one?" Fishlegs asked. "I'm afraid not. Not even dragon bite would work from Dragonwalkers or any other dragons," Hiccup replied as we heard the twins groaned. "We're sorry guys, but nothing we could do. We can't even make Dragonwalker bite formula because the ingredients are very rare and they're coming from the Hidden World. If you guys know about it," Valka added. "It's alright. It would be worse if they play with it," Snotlout said glaring at the twins as they stick out their tongues at him. "Uh, quick question, is that Nadder over there has a rider?" Hannah asked pointing at our Deadly Nadder which was named Stormfly. "No. But we hoped she find a better rider for her," I said as Hannah walked towards her. Stormfly was frightened at first, but when Hannah placed her hand on her snout, she was relieved. "I'll take her. I don't even have a dragon either," Hannah said as she cuddles with Stormfly. "Her name was Stormfly," I said. "I like it," Hannah replied. "Could it be your first time riding your new dragon?" Hiccup asked. "I guess so," Hannah replied.

As we finished eating lunch, we suddenly heard a roar from outside. "Oh, the alpha is calling me," Hiccup said before he ran out of the cave. We followed him on his way until we were surprised to see a big white dragon ahead of us. The dragons bowed at him as we mentioned Hiccup bowed as well. "Hello, my King," Hiccup said in Dragonese. I think that dragon must be the alpha. "Hello, Hiccup," The alpha said, then he looks directly at...me? When Hiccup notices the alpha looks at me, he was shocked then he looks back at the dragon. "Astrid, I think the alpha wants to show you something," Hiccup said. I nodded and walk towards the alpha. Once I was close to him, he blows a fog of ice at me and I suddenly only see light, then flashbacks and prophecies. When I came back to reality, I could see scent. I looked at the gang and the Haddocks to see their shocked faces. I looked at Hiccup to see his blue scent with my unconscious body. Wait, my body? I looked down to see that I had white paws, and my body is covered with white and purple scales. I freaked out. "Astrid, it's okay. I used to have that same expression too," Hiccup said as he holds my body in a bridal style. "Don't worry. I'll explain what's going on," He added before head back to the cave. "Hiccup, for the love of Odin, what is going on?!" Snotlout asked out loud confusingly. Hiccup started explaining. "Centuries ago, Vikings and Dragons used to be friendly thanks to the Maiden Viking called the Dragon Princess who is known to be the wife of my ancestor Night Fury I, protector, and leader of the Night Fury tribe. When the day of her death came, she gave an order to the dragon alpha about protecting the dragons from far and wide and telling them if they find a human who had an interesting obsession with befriending dragons, they'll tell them everything and rule after the alpha. And since the time came, I realized that our alpha was not looking for just a human, but two," By finishing the story, we were shocked to realize that Hiccup and I are the chosen ones as Dragon Prince and Princess. Not only that, it is confirmed that the Haddocks are related to Night Fury I. "That," Fishlegs spoked. "was," Snotlout continued. "Incredible!" The twins finished with their hands in the air. "Hiccup, can I get back to my body?" I asked. "Sure. It's your body after all," Hiccup said, then I hopped into my body resulting in waking up in my human form. "I can't let my mind out of you guys becoming Dragonwalkers, it was so cool," Fishlegs said and the others agreed.

When evening came and we ate dinner, all of us went to sleep. Us Dragonwalkers went into our dragon form as Valka and Hannah told us that they would go out patroling if there is any suspicious activity from the outside of the nest before leaving the cave. "So, what now?" I asked Hiccup who is still here and awake. "Do you want me to show you how to be one of us?" Hiccup asked. "Sure, I would love that," I replied without hesitation. I followed Hiccup to the bottom of the steep rocks before we stopped. "Can you smell me?" Hiccup asked. "Of course, every dragon can," I said receiving a chuckle from a Night Fury. "Well, close your eyes," He said making me confused, but I did close my eyes. From there, I could see the blue lines of a dragon. "You don't need your eyes to see, and you can hear every little thing that moves," He said as I could hear the sound of the running water from the waterfalls. "And your paws can hear through the ground," He added as I can hear and feel vibrations from the dragon's walking to the ground I was standing on. When I opened my eyes, I looked at Hiccup from my back. "And you have wings now, you can fly so high and glide so fast!" He said as he opened his wings then he took off the edge. "Hey, wait for me!" I said as I used my wing and took off following him, but he flies too fast that I lost him. "Keep your nose down! Be a dragon!" I heard Hiccup said from the distance. Finally, I catch up with him as we flew through the tunnels to the exit of the nest. As we reached there and landed on an ice spike, we could hear thunder from the sky. "Great. There's a storm coming in," I said. "It's okay. The next thing are we going to do is the cloaking ability," Hiccup said. "Night Furies can cloak?" I asked. "Well, Light Furies like you could, but Night Furies like me needed more power from the storm lightning like the Skrill, although it was kinda painful if you ask me," He said before we took off to the storm. As we flew through the storm clouds, lightning came out of nowhere around us. "Astrid, show me your cloak. To do that, think about the dragon fire breath, then spit out plasma blast and fly through it," Hiccup suggested. I did what he told me, I flew through the fire, and I realized that I don't see my scales, then they come back. "You got it! Okay, my turn," Hiccup said, then he spits out his plasma blast then flies through it, but it didn't work. "That is why Night Furies needed more power," He explained. He breathes in with more strength as the group of lightning surrounded him before he blasted blue plasma before flies through it again. I couldn't see Hiccup afterward, then from nowhere, I found Hiccup exhausted from the experience as he was about to fall. I caught Hiccup and we continued flying, then we flew upwards as we reached the full moon and looked directly into our eyes. Before anything else, Hiccup licked me which caused me to blush slightly then smiled. We flew back to the nest and we were expected to see the Haddocks sit each other at the edge of the cave very disappointed to see us back. "Where have you two been?" Hannah asked sarcastically. "We went on a storm flight as I teach Astrid how to become one of us," Hiccup answered. From that moment, Valka laughed. "Well, at least you two have a fun night," She said winking at us causing our face to turn blue and purple, then she and Hannah wandered off to sleep. Hiccup and I looked at each other then smiled before we went to sleep cuddling together as in like we are together, or so be.
