Hiccup's POV

I can't believe it. I'm going to kill a dragon?! I can't! I can't do it! Everyone is cheering at me, all except Astrid. She's really mad at me for how did I do that trick. Well, there's one more thing I had to do. I'm gonna run away with Toothless. If I killed the dragon, he won't trust me anymore. While everyone was celebrating at the great hall, I started to pack up. I packed everything I had, clothes, pairs of boots, my blueprints, charcoal, and lastly, my mother's dragon-shaped neck crest meaning protecting the dragons. I burst out my window and sneak out of my room to the forge, then I grab some leather, metal, needles, and some tools, then I snuck to get baskets full of fish. After that, I snuck into the forest.

Once I reached the cove, Toothless was there very excited to see me. "Hey there, bud. I know this is a hard one to take, but we have to leave," I said petting him. By the looks on his face, he understands the meaning. I strapped the baskets to secure them, after that, I mounted Toothless. "Let's go, buddy," I said to him, then we flew out of the cove, leaving Berk behind.

Stoick's POV

After the celebration, it was late at night and everyone went into their homes. When I entered the house Hiccup and I resided, I called out to Hiccup, but there's no response. When I reached his room and opened the door, but I only see his window open and all of his things are gone, including his clothes and boots. I burst out of the house and called the village. "PLAN THE SEARCH PARTY!!! READY THE SHIPS!!! SCATTER THROUGH THE FOREST!!!" All of the Vikings are looking exhausted when they got out, and Gobber approached me. "Stoick, what's going on?" He asked in confusion. "Hiccup is missing, and I need to plan a search party to find him," I said, and Gobber agreed before walking away. I told the Vikings to search at the forest and seas, while I was disappointed that my son is missing. 'Oh, Hiccup...where are you?'

Astrid's POV

I woke up from the chief shouting outside. All of us Viking walked out of our houses to see what's going on. As I walked closer to Stoick, Gobber approached him and asked what was happening, and I was shocked that he told him that Hiccup was missing. My mind was speechless as the gang approach me. "What's happening here, Astrid?" Fishlegs asked. "Hiccup was...missing," I stuttered as I lowered my head. I can hear the gang's devastating expression besides Snotlout because he was happy that he's gone. I punched him in the face with great force, leaving his face full of black marks and nosebleed with all of that happiness on him. I stormed out of the group and went into my house as I can feel something wet on my face. Hoffersons don't cry. But when this was on me, I felt that I'm heartbroken hearing that the fishbone's gone. When I entered my bedroom, I realized I had something I never used. I went into my chest and find a toy dragon that looks like a Deadly Nadder. And that's how my memories washed through my mind.

~Flaskback~

When I was five, I was at the edge of Berk crying because I never had Snoggletog with my parents ever since dad and uncle abused me by my mistakes that I haven't done. I was about to go back home when I noticed Hiccup in front of me with a gift box in his hand. He looks kind of worried about me. He placed the box on the ground and left. I looked at the box when I looked at the tag that it was mine. I was curious what it is. When I opened it, I was surprised that it was a toy dragon that looks like a Deadly Nadder. The body was blue with yellow details. I suddenly kinda smiled and started cuddling the toy that makes me happy.

~Present~

My mind washed out as I realize that I was hugging the toy dragon, but I don't mind. I laid in my bed and thinking of what I experienced before saying, "Hiccup, thank you."

Hiccup's POV

We were flying for a few hours and we decided to land on an island for the night. I set up a campfire to warm using wood and Toothless's fire breath and we are some fish we packed. After we are, we decided to sleep. Toothless made me sleeps on him, even though, he was warm for me. And I had a good night's sleep.

When dawn came, we flew off to look for a new island to live on. As we flew over, Toothless sensed something. Something we didn't expect. We saw fog coming on our way, and we decided to take the sky for a better view. As we could, a dragon came out of nowhere gaining upon us. On it was a dragon rider who wears its armor and mask. As I was about to ask, an unknown dragon behind me caught me leaving Toothless behind to the ocean. I was very worried about him. "Where are you taking me?! We have to get back to Toothless! He can't fly on his own, he'll drown!" I yelled to the rider but it didn't listen to me.

I was amazed when I saw an island ahead of us. It was covered with icebergs and stones. The dragon dropped me into a dark cave and I was very scared of what would they do. Just then, a dragon approached me with Toothless in its claws and dropped him making me embracing him. I was so happy that he was okay now. The dragons suddenly use their fire breaths to lit up the cave and the rider approaches us. Toothless growls at her, however, the rider pets him and he was lying on the ground. The rider walked closer to me, then it gasped and backed away. "Hiccup?" I was confused about how did it know my name. Also, I heard that the rider was female according to its voice. She took off her mask to see an old woman who has Auburn brown with grey streaks and green eyes similar to mine. "Could it be? After all these years," She said amazed at me. "Did I know you?" I asked confusingly. "No. You were only a babe...but a mother never forgets," As she said, I was shocked. Not because she's a rider, but because she's my mother?! "Come," She said as she gestures the dragons to follow her. I had no choice but to follow her and Toothless is following me.

I was bragging and asking questions that the rider was my mother as I followed her when a bright light approached us and I was amazed that there are dragons all over the gigantic cavern which was covered in an iceberg and waterfalls falling. I was surprised when the rider a.k.a. my mom was on the dragon hanging upside down on the rocks before crawling down and she approached me. "You've been lived here for 15 years?" I asked as my eyes gazed at the field. "Yup. Do you like it?" Mom asked. "Like it? That was amazing!" I replied. Just as I was about to talk, I heard someone behind us. I turned around to see a feminine Viking holding a basket of fish. She kinda looks around 13, who had an identical appearance as mine, but with long braids. "Hi, Mom. Is that Hiccup you're talking about?" The girl asked my mom. 'Mom?' I thought confusingly before my mom noticed me. "Oh, right. About that, Hiccup, I wanted to let you meet Hannah, your little sister," She said. I was shocked that I heard the word 'sister,' I smiled in amazement before Hanna stared at me confusingly. "What?" I asked. "Your hand?" Hannah answered worryingly. I look at my hands to see that my right hand started glowing blue, making a dragon paw's silhouette. Toothless approached me looking directly at my hand before his eyes widened. Mom stepped closer to examine my hand until she gasped surprisingly. "What is it, Mom? Why is my hand glowing? Do you know anything about it?" I asked concernedly. "Hiccup, we think you're not gonna like it," Hanna said. "What do you mean?" I asked before Mom spoke up. "Hiccup...you've become...a Dragonwalker...meaning you are their Prince," What?! Dragonwalker?! Prince?! "No, no, no, no, no. You've got to be kidding me," I said receiving an ear slap from Toothless who was being annoyed by my thoughts. "Okay, I believe you. But, why?" I asked when I heard a roar beyond the cliff we were standing on. "I believed the alpha would answer that question," Mom said as we walk towards the edge where we can see a white dragon that was bigger than the rest of the dragons. "Hiccup, we wanted you to meet the Bewilderbeast. The King of all Dragons," Hannah said pointing towards the dragon. All of the dragons bowed before the alpha as he raised himself towards us. Mom, Hannah, and Toothless bowed at him while I was amazed at the size of the intelligent creature, then the alpha blows a fog of ice at me causing my vision to become white and it transported me to the prophecy of the Dragonwalkers.

Centuries ago, Vikings and Dragons are friendly to one another, founded by a Viking known as the Dragon Princess. The Dragon Princess is a seeker of a myth known as Dragonwalkers. Dragonwalkers are Humans who can talk to dragons using a language called Dragonese, with wild magic. Dragonwalkers have the power of healing for a small amount of pain or wound, and they can also turn themselves into dragons when they fall asleep. On finding out becoming a Dragonwalker, the chosen one would be responsible for finding the lost myth, whether a prince or a princess. When the chosen one realized they become one, their body would start to form from appearing dragon scale spots, to turn their hands and legs into dragon claws. However, one day, the Dragon Princess gave an order to the next leader that is to protect all of the dragons from far and wide, and then, she died. Rumors from the Vikings said that Dragonwalkers are just fairytales, but, the dragons believed that the legend is real...Until now.

My eyes were now opened from this dream, but, something's wrong with me. I suddenly saw my body on the ground sleeping, I look at my hands and I only saw its blue claws. I look at my body to see black and blue and I started to panic when my mom and Hannah approach me. "Hiccup, It's okay. Relax," Mom said and I relaxed, then Hannah escorts the to the nearby cave while Mom carries my body, and Toothless follows us. "I can't believe it. You were chosen to be the Dragon Prince. Ha! I knew for my whole life!" Hannah exclaimed as she gestures me to lay down while my mom put my body on a bed-looking rock. "Don't worry, Hiccup. It would take a while to realize," I heard someone I didn't recognize, when I look up, I noticed Toothless there. "Toothless? You can talk to me?" I asked. "Of course, Hiccup. As a Dragonwalker, you can talk to dragons, whether you're in your dragon form or not," Toothless explained, and I was surprised. "Amazing!" I said. "I know, right?" Toothless replied. "Don't get too excited there," I heard another voice as Stormcutter dragon came in. "Just as because you're a Dragonwalker doesn't mean you are the only one who was chosen," He said. "What do you mean?" I asked. "Well, In case you haven't known, the king could also sense that the Dragon Princess was coming by," He said. "But, what does that means?" Toothless asked. "No one knows," He replied before walking away following my mom, and Toothless and I looked at each other confusingly.
