Bala Hatun rode on her horse, Alaca, alongside her best friend, Gonca Hatun. A horse's neigh was heard. Bala shushed her horse, and craned her neck. The horse neighed again. 'They might need help.' 'We don't have much time.' 'Haydi.' Bala pushed her own horse forward, and Gonca reluctantly followed.

They met with a horse as dark as the night, as they hopped off of their own. 'Shh. Shh.' Bala shushed the horse, soothing it. Looking around, her eyes met with an unconscious man in the muds. His thumb was twitching, proving him to be alive. Bala trudged towards the man, and walked into the puddle he was lying in. Crouching beside him, she checked to see if he was breathing. A warm breath tickled her hand.

'He is alive.' Bala tried pulling him by the arms, however, he was very heavy. 'We must take him out. We must take him out of the mud.' She gazed around, trying to find something that would help them. Her eyes landed on the black horse. She stood before it, pulling its reigns over its head. Gonca took ahold of the horse, before Bala pulled the horse over to the man.

She tied the reigns around the man, and pulled. 'Pull. Come on, my boy, pull. Pull him.' After a few minutes of trying, the horse managed to pull him out. 'Mashallah. Haydi! Come on, my boy. Mashallah.' They pulled him onto the drier mud.

Bala freed the man's arms from the reigns. She lifted his head, throwing water onto his face. She carefully brushed over his face, cleaning over his eyes. He was awakening. 'We have wasted a lot of time. We must go.' Gonca hurriedly spoke.

His eyes slowly opened. 'He regained consciousness. Help me out. We need to carry him.' Gonca sighed, before returning back. They each took an arm, and tugged until they got him out of the mud. 'We really need to go now. Let's move.' Bala nodded, before returning back to Alaca, without another look at the man in the mud.

They rode out, and a few minutes later, arrived at Kulucahisar Castle. They entered in, and smiled at each other. Riding up to the stables, they slowly made their way off. Dressed as nuns, they went to the church, where a figure stood.

'I was awaiting your arrival for days. Thanks to God, you finally arrived.' 'We had some trouble, but our holy cause gave us strength to move on.' 'How is our master? Is he in good health?' 'He is well. He wonders about the situation of the castle. As you know, Kulucahisar is important to him.' 'May God protect him.' 'We heard that things are getting complicated.' 'You were right about your foresight. Tekfur Yorgopolos will be assassinated.' Bala looked down. 'She is always right.' Bala blushed before replying.

'His close relation with the Turks made him the target. Devil dark which we go after, is about to take over Kulucahisar. Devil's breath which cringed on the passages of this castle is also their work. We don't have any time. We must fulfil our master's order at once, and find the treasure. If we fail, everything will collapse.' 'They've sent the password, right?'

Bala looked around before pulling a piece of paper from behind her back. She passed it to Dursun. 'I'm so proud of you. You didn't disappoint us on the missions that you took.' Dursun unfolded the paper. On it, was written;

XXVI-VII

CXLVIII-III

CIV-VI

Dursun spoke. 'It might be written with the secrets from the bible. This probably expresses some kind of codes.' 'If we can find some clue about the secrets, I can solve those numbers. The information about the place and direction must be hidden in those numbers.' 'Youve solved a set of secrets about the ancient alphabets.' 'Then we can confront our master with the joy of the people who have complete their mission by finishing this job at once.

A few hours master, Bala, Gonca and Dursun were sat in a room. They were going over scripts that would help them find the treasures. Bala tried to figure them.

'Praise him, sun, the moon and all the stars. Every star that sparkles, glorifies him. You dressed him with deep water and the water was standing above mountains.' She furrowed her eyebrows, looking up. Gonca looked at Dursun. 'What is the meaning of these?' Something in Bala's head clicked. 'It says, he hangs the world upon the space. Sun and moon. Sparkling stars.' 'Sky.' Dursun was in a trance. 'We are going to search for the sky in the castle.'

Gonca finished. 'He spreads north into space. Is there a secret room at the north part of the castle?' Both the women looked hopefully at Dursun. 'Sofia's room.' Bala stood. 'Over there, I saw 7 planets which were created by alchemy metals. At the middle of the magic room, the place which has the reflection of the stars and planets. Holy relics are here! Now, we are really close to our secret.' Bala smiled. This was it.

-an hour later-

Bala dipped her comb in the water. She brushed it through her hair, slowly. Her mind went back to the man she saved today. She only wanted to know if he was still alive. Gonca walked in. 'Why are you so lost in thought? What are you thinking?' 'Nothing, I lost myself.' 'Come on, cheer up. We are so close.' 'You're right. We are so close. Tomorrow, we'll complete our mission.' 'Is this the reason of your sadness? Come on, smile. Or...are you thinking of him?' Bala looked awkwardly at her. 'Who?' 'The Turk you saved.' 'I wonder who he is. What was he doing there?' 'I don't know who he was, but obviously, he remains in your mind.' Bala looked at her harshly.

'I shouldn't have told you anything. We must rest. We have got many things to do tomorrow. Come on.' They blew out their candles, before heading to bed.

The next night, they had prepared themselves as maids. They pushed their cart trolleys, holding bread and food. Navigating their way, the women found the room. Entering in, they saw the alchemy metals. To the right, were books and scrolls. Gonca sorted through them, whilst Bala tried to find any nooks and crannies that would hold secrets.

Bala turned to see a soldier. However, he looked familiar. Wait, that was the man they saved. Her jaw dropped. She stepped forward, hand over her dagger. 'I know you.' The man spoke in a deep, velvety voice. It didn't faze her. 'You were the one who saved me in the swamp.' His smiled faltered, and his gaze hardened. His head turned towards the window. Bala looked over too. 'I thought you were an angel.' Bala paced around a table. She now stood in front of the man.

'Get out of here.' 'Tell me, who are you?' 'You wanted this. Come and learn, then!' Gonca pulled out her dagger, and attacked the man. However, he easily caught her arm, and threw her backwards. Bala aimed for his head, but he ducked, blocking her attacks. She tried again for his head, but he twisted her arm back, putting her own weapon against her neck.

'Then let's see that who is hidden behind your angel face.'

A/N

Yes, a new book! This is a Kongar/Goktug love story, with Bala! So, I will start from the beginning episodes, until we get to Kongars arrival, then the storyline will change more often. Sorry for how short this is, but Bala does not have many scenes in this episode. You won't be seeing Kongar until a few chapter, so sorry! Lygsm. Vote and comment β™₯️
