Visitors were coming and going. My sisters would come and the Hawthornes would stand in silence. It was my last day at the hospital well it wasn't meant to be my last but it was. Jameson came to visit alone and it wasn't even visiting hours.

"What are you doing here?"

"Visiting"

"It's past visiting hours"

"I know"

"No one wants to tell me so will you?"

"Tell you what?"

"Tell me what happened"

"Are you sure?"

"It can't be so bad"

"You were all quiet and studying the letter with Xander. I wanted to know what you were talking about. But Xander shooed me away so I left. Then Xander screamed. When I say he screamed I mean it. He screamed so loud that everyone's attention was turned to you. I looked back and you had fallen backward off the bench. There was blood coming out of your mouth Amber. There was blood. I ran towards you and picked you up. I tried to wake you up but you wouldn't. Xander was terrified and he called 911 while your security guard was getting everyone away from the scene. I rode with you in the ambulance to here but you wouldn't wake up. You were unresponsive. They hurried you into the emergency room. I felt so stupid for letting you leave the nurse. If you had stayed there none of this would have happened. You wouldn..." 

"Thank you."

"I only made it worse"

"But you saved me and came here with me. If it weren't for you Xander wouldn't have been able to do anything. He needed me."

"And I needed you" What did I feel about Jameson? I knew I had to break up with Michael but I didn't know how to.

"Can I tell you a secret?" Jameson nodded. I needed to get him out of his current thoughts. "I am breaking up with Michael. He is never there for me and he... Never mind, I am just skipping to conclusions."

"You're breaking up?" He smiled.

"You happy?"

"Um. No of course not."

"Alisa is forcing me out of the hospital tonight. I am meant to stay until tomorrow but I will lose the inheritance if I leave."

"Isn't that dangerous?"

"Yeah but tomorrow is just rest for me." Grayson walked into the room.

"Hi Grayson"

"I didn't know you were here Jamie."

"I have something to ask you, Grayson," I said. I gestured for him to come over to me and he did.

"What were you talking about with Michael?"

"You"

"But you weren't the one he was meant to meet up with. Were you? He was meant to meet up with your..."

"Mother. She was there but I came into the room, she smiled while walking away from Michael and she sat down"

"It was the same in the hallway wasn't it?"

"Yeah I told him to stay away from my mother but I heard him tell you about him staying away from my brothers which I also would want."

"Thanks for telling me" Skye wanted me gone. Libby would never poison me. Michael was acting suspicious when he visited. He poisoned me. But why? Was it against his will?

Grayson dusted his suit and left the room.

"What did you ask Gray?"

"I just asked him about what he was talking about with my ex"

"You're irresistible you know that?"

"Excuse me? The moment I am single you want me?"

"Maybe"

Alisa walked into the room. "Jameson, will you help me get Amber out of here? I stole the medication from the doctors and I am ready with the SUV outside. You just have to hide her."

"Ok"

I climbed out of bed but I fell. Jameson picked me up and they carried me out of the hospital and sneaked me out of the hospital. Jameson opened the door and helped me to the middle seat. Grayson was at the window.

"Why isn't Amber at the hospital?"

"If she doesn't get out today she doesn't get the inheritance."

Grayson nodded and pulled me into the middle seat and Jameson pushed he sat down beside me. I took my seatbelt and tried to plug it in but I was too tired to know what I was doing. Jameson held my hand and pushed it in. I looked up at him and smiled. I fell asleep the ride home on Jameson's shoulder I could feel him smirking in my sleep while Grayson glared.

I woke up on my bed it was the next day. It was Friday the day that Michael was going to leave. I had to tell him. He was getting ready to go. I felt eyes on me from the cupboard if Jameson was there I would be safe. I got out of bed.

"I know what you did."

"What did I do?"

"You poisoned me, didn't you? I don't know who told you to but I know that it was you."

"So what if it was me?"

"You made me sick"

"And?"

"Just tell me why you did it."

"You were in the way of the bigger plan."

"What plan?"

"Ask your sister"

"What did you do to her?"

"I didn't do it"

"Then who did?"

"The plan was to attack when you were at the hospital but you never went even after all those days because you never ate enough for the poison to take effect. So I put a higher dose the day before you were sick. It took some time but it worked"

"So you never loved me?"

"I did, but I didn't after I came here"

"So that is how our relationship ends?"

"There is no proof that I did any of this."

"But I know. You told me."

"Did I? Or was it all a dream?"

"I'm breaking up."

"You're what?!"

"I don't love you anymore I was only letting myself believe that I did" he jumped onto me and pinned my arms down and he covered my mouth with his hand.

"You still love me you hear me?" I nodded and he punched me in the nose. "You stay quiet or else." He held up the container of medicine. "Would be a shame if this goes"

"Don't you dare" He punched me again this time in my eye.

"I said quiet." I saw Jameson climb out of the cupboard silently and Nash followed. He had gone to get help. Nash sprung onto Michael and pinned him down. He took the medication out of his hand and threw it.

"Oren!" Nash screamed. Oren came running into the room and he took handcuffs out of his pocket and put them on Michael. Jameson was at my side.

"I'm here. You don't have to worry about Michael anymore." Jameson hugged me. For once I felt safe in this house. I leaned into him but I quickly got up.

I walked slowly toward Michael and collapsed next to him "Who was it?" He pulled his upper body upwards and whispered in my ear.

"You'll find out"

"Tell me. Or you'll regret it."

"My lips are sealed."

Oren and Nash took Michael away and Jameson helped me up. "You know what happened to my sister don't you."

"I might. But do you want to know?"

"Of course I do. She is okay right?"

"She is now. She was shot at the day you left for the hospital. I was with her in the Blackwood looking for the next clue and then they shot at her. She was injured by debris."

"Where is she? I need her"

"I can get her to come here." I nodded and waited a few minutes and Avery came into the room.

"Avery! Are you ok? Why didn't you tell me?"

"I'm fine it barely hurts. What are you doing here?"

"Alisa snuck me out of the hospital with the help of Jameson."

"What happened to your eye? Your nose is bleeding" I touched my nose and there was blood on my hands.

"I banged it on the corner of my bedside table and I broke up with Michael."

"Don't lie to me."

"I'm not lying you tell her Jameson you were there"

"I love you." She hugged me.

"I love you too"
