Perseus Jackson was sad to leave his family after his spectacular Christmas vacation.

Yes, dear readers. Percy was now a guy. Hestia had reversed the spell once the week had ended. Currently, Percy, Hestia, Hades, Poseidon, and Hecate were at platform 9 and 3 quarters, at Kings Cross station, London.

It was strange for all the three Elder Olympians and the goddess of magic to be at a single train station. Also, Percy couldn't imagine all of them would be coming to see him off. He was glad though.

Hecate bent low and gave him a hug. She was like a loving aunt to Percy after teaching him magic for all those 11 years.

"If you need help, don't hesitate to ask." She said, patting his back.

Hades came next and shook Percy's hand. "I really miss your help in giving punishments down in the underworld."

"Don't worry, uncle. I'll make a list during my time in school."

Poseidon ruffled his hair and said "Well, my boy. Now I know you liked Hades' broom the best" he shot a non-serious glare at his brother, "but you could always give mine a twirl. It's exquisite."

"Don't worry. I will."

Hestia gave Percy another hug and kissed him on the cheek.

"Take care of yourself, young man - Or else, I swear, you will find yourself wishing for death."

Percy grinned. "Don't worry. I will be good." After he included in a low voice 'mostly'.

Hades chuckled and muttered, "That's my nephew."

"Hey, Percy!" A bright and cheery voice called him out from back. Percy turned back and saw Hermione there, with her mortal family.

"Hermione!" Percy greeted her.

"She's a friend from school," Percy said to his family.

"Hermione, meet my uncle, aunts, and dad." He said pointing to each of them.

Hermione's eyes widened when Percy said 'Dad'. Percy mouthed an 'I will explain later' to her, and she nodded.

"Nice meeting you, Hermione," Hestia said politely. "But you must be going now." Hogwarts Express was getting ready to leave. It let out a final whistle. Percy and Hermione got on the train.

"Bye Percy. Stay safe." Poseidon bid him goodbye, as the train started. Percy bid them farewell from the door and then entered the train.

"I thought you said your father passed away?" Hermione queried.

Percy wondered how to explain this stuff to her. In his previous life, Poseidon didn't play much role as his dad, other than giving him birth. Percy meant Paul when he said he died. However this life, Poseidon hadn't been as much of an 'absent dad' as earlier, although it was hard since he had duties in Atlantis, and nobody was supposed to know Percy existed. So, if Poseidon kept leaving Atlantis, people would get suspicious.

"Well, he's the one who gave me birth, although when my mom was alive, she married another man who was the one who died." Percy referred to Paul (not Gabe). "After he died, I lived with my birth dad's sister, and well my dad did show up at times, but I guess he's trying now."

"Your family's weird," Hermione commented after a while.

"Yeah . . . " Percy grimaced. "That's one one of saying that."

"Alright, let's get a seat."

"Percy!" Harry shouted as soon as he spotted him and ran up to give him a hug, followed by Ron. Then they did the same to Hermione as well.

"So, how was Christmas?" Percy asked them.

"Awfully boring without you two," Ron replied. "Although we found a strange Mirror."

"Do tell," Percy said as he sat down along with the others in the Great Hall, turning to listen to Harry's encounter with the Mirror of Erised. Apparently, it showed a person their greatest desire.

"Also, I got an invisibility cloak!" Harry dropped in at the end.

"You got a what?" Percy and Hermione asked together.

"Yep, an actual invisibility cloak!" Ron answered with a grin.

"Wow," Percy muttered impressed. Hermione began sprouting facts about the rarity of invisibility cloaks.

Right at that moment Oliver Wood came in between the conversation.

"Hey guys! Percy, Hermione, welcome back! Also, Harry and Percy, Quidditch training at 3 today. Be prepared," Oliver informed them. Harry nodded and Percy gave him a thumbs up.

"Alright, let's dig in," Percy said looking at the lunch on the table.

The month of January passed over rapidly. Percy, Harry, Ron, and Hermione stuck together as a group, spending all their time together. Wherever one of them could be found, the remaining three would always be somewhere close. They were pretty much the Golden Quartet.

The month of February passed over as well. Percy stayed in contact with Hestia, Hecate, Hades, and his dad. For Percy, Hogwarts became sort of a home. He realized how much he had grown attached to Harry, Ron, and Hermione. However, it did not bother him at all - he knew he deserved a shot at peace.

Of course, his mind often went to the conversation he shared with Artemis that night. How she had said that Percy had snapped under pressure and the gods did something they regretted (or at least Artemis claimed that they regretted). He wondered what it was, and why he did not remember any of it, but in the end, he trusted Hestia much more than he trusted himself. So, he refused to let his thoughts dwell on that matter.

Towards the end of February, Gryffindor faced another Quidditch game against Hufflepuff, and this time. . . Snape was the referee. That sucked, but under Percy's impressive tactics with his broom (he used Poseidon's this time) and Harry's skills with the snitch, Gryffindor had won over Hufflepuff with a whooping 180 points lead. The game ended at 70-250, where Percy alone was responsible for 60 points.

The entire month of March passed away soon. In the last week of March, Hermione made an announcement.

"We should start studying for the terms."

That caused multiple groans from Harry, Ron, and Percy, immediately.

"Why?" Ron asked weakly.

"The terms are coming! I don't want to fail. I would rather die than fail a term."

"Aren't the terms in . . . like May?" Percy asked.

"Exactly! We have already wasted so much time. Only two months left."

Percy and Ron shared a look like 'She's crazy', while Harry stared at Hermione with a questioning look.

"Oh, get out of it. You need to study too." Hermione snapped.

"Okay, okay, we'll try to think about starting to study," Percy assured her. Hermione rolled her eyes while Ron and Harry nodded to Percy's words.

"You are a bad influence, Percy," Hermione muttered.

Percy gave them his troublemaker smirk.

After that March also went by. Hermione was studying, and for her, studying meant a completely different meaning. While Percy was lying on his bunk with a book on 'Basic History of Medieval Magic', Hermione was always seen, or rather not seen, behind books so high up that she could not be seen behind them. Of course, Percy already knew more magic than the average seventh-year students of Hogwarts (what else do you expect from someone who had learned magic for years under the goddess of magic?), but still. . . theory sucked more than fighting the battle of Manhattan.

After that, the month of April came, and the students got an Easter holiday. Hermione and Ron were staying at Hogwarts for Easter. Hestia had extended an invite to Percy for a week, but Percy decided to stay over at Hogwarts. He had a gut feeling that there was going to be some action coming up.

And action did show up, in the form of a baby dragon.

"You are in for a great surprise!" Hagrid announced to the quartet. He had invited Harry over for 'tea', and said he could bring along his friends. Nobody realized that 'tea' was just a cover for Hagrid to show them. . . a baby dragon hatching from an egg.

"Holy schist - that's a dragon," Percy muttered seeing it.

Ron, Harry, and Hermione wisely backed away, while Percy decided that a baby dragon was not even in the list of top 10 weird things he had seen in his life, nor the list of top 100, for that matter.

"I've decided to call him Norbert. He really knows me now, watch. Norbert! Norbert! Where's Mummy?" Hagrid called after the baby dragon.

"He's lost his marbles," Ron commented. Percy could feel the others agreeing with him, without even turning back.

"Uh-" Percy interrupted, "I don't think that's a boy."

"Why?" Hagrid asked him surprised.

"I think she would like the name 'Norberta', instead of 'Norbert'," Percy said. The baby dragon looked at Percy and lowered her head shortly to bow.

"How can you tell?" Hagrid wanted to know.

"I don't know. But I think Norberta agrees." He replied. Truly, Percy had no idea why he knew that. He could only understand horses, stags, and other creatures his dad had made. He was pretty sure he did not make dragons.

Norberta nodded its head in assertion.

"Okay, everyone, say hi to Norberta," Hagrid announced looking at Harry, Ron, and Hermione who had backed away to a wall. They slowly came forward.

"Hagrid, you know this is against the rules right?" Ron asked. "You can't keep a dragon in your house, Hagrid."

"Norberta's like my daughter. I ain't giving her away." Hagrid protested.

"Hold on - " Percy raised his hand for a moment, momentarily distracted. "Someone's spying on us."

"What?" Harry and Hermione asked together. Percy immediately closed his eyes and could feel the water in a person behind the hut.

"Yep, behind the hut," Percy said, as he willed the vapor in the air outside to condense into a small amount of water and fall on the intruder.

A short yelp gave him away, and the five of them looked outside the window to see the terrified face of one Draco Malfoy.

"Well, that was a bummer," Percy muttered.

Yeah, that was kind of a filler chapter, but I needed to build around the relationship between Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Percy. I made a mistake last time, by keeping Percy isolated from the golden trio. I am not making the same mistake again. This time, Percy's a part of the Golden Quartet. Also, I did not include Norberta last time - and that's something I am doing now.
So, that's some significant changes in the story.

Also, updates will be slow (although I pretty much have the next chapter ready). I'm going through tons of exams (and they are gonna continue throughout March). I just had my lit exam a couple of days back, and I was spectacular with Shakespeare, so I guess that's a good thing.

The next chapter's gonna be detention - I planted some changes, keeping the original thing stuck to the main book plotline while giving glances at Percy's true powers, nothing too major ofc.

I'll probably post that chapter within this coming week. Goodbye.
